Duties and key responsibilities
Fundraising Support
- Provide administration and operational support across the fundraising team.
- Respond promptly and professionally to fundraising enquiries via post, email, and phone, offering support, guidance and thanking donors and fundraisers.
- Develop excellent and enduring relationships with current and potential supporters.
- Send fundraising materials (including t-shirts, information packs, etc.) to supporters.

Do you want to support the growth of our volunteer-enabled work at Share? We are looking for a passionate person to join us as our new Volunteering and Social Inclusion Project Officer, helping to grow our social inclusion provision.
Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs to become happier, healthier and more independent. Our vision is a world where disabled people are fully included in society, living the life they choose, and we need talented people to help us make that happen.
Our Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) project is part of our social inclusion provision at Share. It sees volunteers and students go on regular social outings to do things our students want to do. Our volunteers make this possible, supporting our students to navigate challenges and have fun on the trips. We currently run 36 GADA trips a year but are only scratching the surface of demand. We are looking for someone to support the growth of this project to 65 trips a year.
Main responsibilities

You’ll work with our students to co-design a programme of GADA trips, as well as sign up students and volunteers to the trips.

You’ll recruit and train GADA volunteers and support them on trips.

You’ll organise GADA trips, including risk assessing them, planning how to make them accessible, carrying out administration such as buying tickets, and providing volunteers with the information they need.

The Role

The Senior Digital Content Officer plays a key role in shaping and delivering engaging, evidence-based digital content for young people, parents and carers. You will lead the planning, creation and continuous improvement of website content designed to support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Job purpose
Toynbee Hall’s community centre delivers a variety of community projects for people of all ages who live in Tower Hamlets. The Community Participation Officers work as part of the community team at Toynbee Hall, flexibly and collaboratively using their skills and experience to work with and support community members to create a welcoming and inclusive space.
Scope of role
Whilst you may be expected to lead on certain elements of the programme, we will work together to determine how we assign tasks and workload across the team. We work together and take shared responsibility for delivering all aspects of our communities portfolio.
Key working relationships
The CPOs report to the Community Centre Manager. The role works in close collaboration with the Community Partnerships Manager a tndhe research team.
Maintaining excellent external relationships is vital to this role. The CPO may liaise with relevant local networks and organisations. Community engagement is vital: the CPO will also regularly consult and engage with community members.
Key Responsibilities
Community Programming:
• Working with the Community Programming Manager to plan activities and events that are safe, in the budget, and intentionally designed to be inclusive and appropriate for the intended audience. • Working with the Community Programming Manager to design and safe, creative, and stimulating play sessions and events for children, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate, inclusive and delivered within budget; and delivering these activities
• Delivering to a brief, and clearly and proactively communicating plans with stakeholders across teams. • Supporting and enabling local people to have a meaningful voice in shaping our services.
Safeguarding and Safety:

Overall job purpose
The post-holder will play a key role within the Initiatives and Partnerships team, working with regional teams to develop and implement proposals to expand use of historic churches in our existing estate and, on occasion, working with other heritage and community groups to deliver their own projects via consultancy or partnership work.
They will manage a programme of work that will include a number of site-specific projects and national initiatives across multiple sites, as well as from time to time working with third parties on partnership or consultancy projects.
The Partnerships Officer will support regional teams and communities to scope and develop projects, supporting feasibility, options and project development work as well as business planning, project management and funding. The post-holder will also work closely with colleagues in conservation and regional teams to make sure that impacts on both areas are fully considered, whilst in tandem seeking to maximise opportunities to expand and increase commercial activity, income and ultimately profitability.
