The Role
We are seeking an Airplay Programme Manager to lead the Airplay Central Team and take overall operational responsibility for delivering and monitoring the Airplay programme.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the programme achieves its objectives and delivers high-quality youth work.

1. Strategic Financial & Operational Leadership

3. Fundraising and Data Systems

• Deputize for the CEO as needed, ensuring continuity across all operations.

• Maintain strong relationships with board members, providing comprehensive and insightful quarterly financial reports to foster understanding and engagement.

• Be responsible for managing relationships with our US bookkeeper (consultant) and both UK and US auditors, and for the line management of the UK Finance and Admin Officer.

5. Operational Excellence

• Monitor and assess operational activities, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.

Person Specification

Essential

• Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).

• Proven experience in a senior finance and operations role (at least three years experience).

• Experience in preparing UK statutory accounts and managing external audits. 

• In-depth knowledge of UK FRS 102 and Charities SORP. Exposure to/experience of US GAAP.

• Experience in preparing the annual budget, working closely with budget holders.

• Experience in supporting grant management.

• High proficiency in using financial software. (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero etc.)

Overall Purpose of the Head of Services

This new role reports to the Chief Executive and is a member of the charity’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT).  The role reflects planned development and expansion in the charity’s direct service provision including the development of a permanent Helpline following a pilot project in 2025.

About Now Teach

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Supporter Engagement Team Leader!
Do you have experiencing leading and managing a high performing customer facing team? Are you passionate about supporting a team to deliver exceptional service to customers?

We are recruiting for a Supporter Engagement team leader to join our stewardship teams with a focus on delivering exceptional and bespoke supporter journeys and experiences through multiple channels.
This role is responsible for leading a team who engage in a multi-channel communication with our supporters, working closely with our inbound supporter care team. The team leader contributes to improving fundraising efforts by supporting the team, as well as providing supporter insights and feedback , using data to make decisive and key decisions to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and Managing a Team: Providing day-to-day leadership, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring team members are supported in their roles. 

- Supporter Interaction: Acting as a first point of contact for supporter inquiries via various channels (phone, email, social media) and handling donations. 

- Enhancing the Supporter Journey: Working to improve the overall experience for supporters by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes. 

- Providing Support: Offering guidance and support to the team on best practices for engaging with supporters and handling various situations. 

- Contributing to Fundraising: Providing valuable insights and feedback to fundraising teams to inform future strategies and campaigns. 

- Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to data protection regulations and other relevant policies and procedures.                                     

What you’ll focus on:

- Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. 
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people. 
- Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a fundraising or charity setting. 
- Data Management and Analysis: Ability to manage and analyse data to identify trends and improve supporter engagement. 
- Knowledge of Fundraising Practices: Understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.

What You’ll Do: 

• Ensure high-quality care in line with our policies and Christian values;
• Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well-trained and motivated;
• Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
• Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team. This includes local purchasing etc within budget limits;
• Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy;
• Engage with local church and community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available;
• Uphold the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Management experience in a residential care home or similar setting; 
• Qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above); 
• Strong leadership and people management skills; 
• A passion for person-centred care and working with older people;
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities; 
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure.

Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend, bank holiday, and on-call cover as required.
