The Strategic Change team has a full-time fixed term opportunity for a Strategic Change Consultant. It's our expectation that the role will continue for 12 months after appointment.
The role has three key parts:
1) To safeguard the reputation of the Citizens Advice service by providing interventions to individual or groups of Local Citizens Advice that are timely, focused, time-limited and effective in respect of: a) Developmental Work, b) Major Strategic Change, and c) Remedial Work
2) To work closely with senior stakeholders across the service to develop and implement project plans to ensure the continuity of high quality services for Citizens Advice clients
3) To provide quality key services to other teams and departments across Citizens Advice to progress priority projects and other national initiatives.

We are looking for motivated and inspiring individuals to deliver dynamic, exciting, and innovative workshops to large groups of young people in schools up and down the country (largely focused in England).
We are looking primarily to recruit facilitators from the following regions in England:
- Midlands
- South West
- London
- North West
- however, we will also consider applicants based in other locations.
This position requires you to have demonstrable evidence of experience delivering workshops to large groups of young people (11-18) in a schools-based context, or delivering high quality online workshops to young people.

The Talent Foundry is an independent education charity dedicated to opening the doors of opportunity to young people. We seek to level the playing field by ensuring that every child has access to the same opportunities as their peers. We deliver a range of workshops to students in schools across the country, covering a variety of themes including employability, technology, engineering and media.
The rate will be £200/day, classed as over 3 hours.
Specific Responsibilities relating to the role of Freelance Facilitator:
- Deliver dynamic, professional and informative workshops to a variety of young people in schools and other education-based contexts
- Act as ambassador for The Talent Foundry and our corporate partners
- Motivate, inspire and support the young people that take part in our workshops
- Deliver the workshop content as directed by the relevant Programme Manager
- Act as a key point of contact for teachers and corporate volunteers for each workshop
Other General Responsibilities:
- Operate as a flexible team player and provide a high level of customer service to schools and anyone connected with The Talent Foundry.
- To be aware of, and comply with, all policies and procedures at The Talent Foundry including health and safety, reporting any concerns to an appropriate person.
- To be aware of, and support, diversity and equal opportunities for all, appreciating and supporting the role of other professionals.
- To contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims ofThe Talent Foundry.
- To attend and participate in meetings and events as required.
- To participate in training and other learning activities as required.

We are currently recruiting for the position of ‘Multimedia Editor and Producer' to join its dynamic External Relations and Advocacy Division. This is a new role, responsible for creating high-quality, innovative video and other content to tell IR’s story in the media and online. The MEP will work closely with Islamic Relief teams around the world to identify the most compelling audio-visual stories; produce, edit and commission content; and come up with creative ways to package this content for social media platforms, international broadcasters and news sites.
The MEP will increase engagement with existing and new audiences by producing content that excites, inspires and drives conversation and inspires supporter action. The post will produce video, photo projects, podcasts and other multimedia content to highlight the impact of our humanitarian and development programmes, grow our campaigns on issues such as gender justice and climate change, amplify the voices and stories of people we work with, and rapidly communicate during emergencies.
This will initially be a fixed-term position for six months, with potential to make it a permanent post depending on funding and performance.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Extensive relevant professional experience, preferably with an NGO or significant media outlet(s)
- Excellent video production and editing skills, and knowledge of relevant editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop
- Demonstrable experience of producing creative and compelling audio-visual content for social media, online news sites and international broadcasters
- Excellent skills in photography and/or other audio-visual content production
- Knowledge of current trends in digital communications and multimedia
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends when needed
- Strong written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel to countries where Islamic Relief works, sometimes at short notice
