ABOUT THE ROLE
As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. This is a full-time, permanent post based in Bolton, working 37.5 hours a week (7.5 hours per day x 5 days per week). The Short Course Co-ordinator will provide customer care as well as logistical and technical support to both online and face-to-face UK short courses.
ABOUT BPNA
The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This role directly supports the education of healthcare professionals across the UK, impacting the care of children with neurological conditions.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense. You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships. You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site, provide online zoom support, set up equipment such as computers and data projectors, and to organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour. We are looking for someone to join our team who will contribute to maintaining and developing our customer focused ethos.
While this role is primarily based in Bolton, there will be some UK travel with overnight stays to support in-person courses. We offer time off in lieu or overtime paid for additional hours worked.

LOCATION

You should anticipate spending an increased amount of time in the office during your probationary period.
JOB PURPOSE
This role provides hands-on experience with technology support for virtual courses and event planning for in-person courses for health care professionals, equipping you with skills in both administrative and event coordination settings. All course planning and logistics are arranged from the BPNA offices.
The purpose of this role is to:

Digital Business Analyst - FTC
Join us at a pivotal moment as we embark on a major journey of transformation across our digital, data, and technology offering! The Digital Business Analyst will play a critical, hands-on role in shaping this future.
You will ensure that Alzheimer’s Research UK’s digital channels, products, and services are not just functional, but are strategically aligned to drive our bold goals and deliver the objectives of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) transformation programme.
The post holder will act as the crucial link between internal and external stakeholders and the Digital and Technology delivery teams. They will translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable technical requirements and user stories, ensuring feasibility, maximising project value, and guaranteeing that implemented solutions deliver an optimal supporter experience.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Scope Definition
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritise, and document functional and non-functional requirements for priority DDT projects and product enhancements (across web, email and other digital channels as required).
· Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to identify core business problems and opportunities for digital improvement.
· Ensure all requirements align with the overarching DDT architecture and digital principles being established.
Analysis, Feasibility, and Impact Assessment
· Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed digital changes, ensuring new solutions contribute to organisational goals for supporter experience, sustainability, and productivity (return on investment).
· Analyse current digital channel performance data and user behaviour (market research) to identify trends and inform decision-making, ensuring future-proofed and data-driven requirements.
· Simplify complex business and technical concepts, ensuring clarity for both executive leadership and the development team.
Documentation and Artefact Creation
· Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and process models for the Digital and Technology delivery teams.
· Produce clear, high-quality technical writing and documentation for project processes, system changes, and end-user guides, contributing to the team's knowledge base.
Quality Assurance and UAT Management
· Play a key role in the design and co-ordination of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate that all digital solutions and features meet documented business requirements and satisfy user needs.
· Support the implementation phase of priority DDT activities such as our web development project, acting as a point of consultation to resolve issues and validate new solutions (e.g. changes in software or platform compatibility).
· Contribute to system maintenance planning by documenting defects and change requests post-launch.
Communication and Bridge Building
· Serve as the primary communication bridge between the DDT Programme Manager and Digital, internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
· Facilitate project presentations and public introductions of new digital features to stakeholders and internal teams to secure project adoption and report on progress.
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role, specifically within a digital, marketing, or technology environment.
· Expertise in using agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) and developing core business analysis artefacts (User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, BRDs).
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data to drive requirements and design solutions.

Job Profile
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead on the recruitment, retention, and value growth of Afghanaid’s supporter base by directing and implementing communications, fundraising and engagement strategies, aligned with broader organisation goals. Designing and managing a tight budget, you will direct the Communication and Giving unit to maximise their success.
You will provide strategic and supervisory oversight of fundraising income from individual giving, regular giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporates, community and student fundraising and events, managing annual fundraising appeals and driving organisational unrestricted income growth.
You will lead on communications for Afghanaid, overseeing print, digital, and paid marketing activities and the growth of communications channels. You will execute Afghanaid’s organisational brand strategy which ensures the integrity of the brand and maximises awareness. You will manage all public relations including crisis communications, as well as the growth of strategic media placements and high profile relationships. You will drive the success of organisational impact storytelling and communications for both internal and external stakeholders. PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will be an experienced and dynamic communicator with significant demonstrable experience in fundraising and/or communications at a senior level, coupled with an awareness and up to date knowledge and experience of the tools that would maximise the success of our communications and fundraising activities. In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Possessing strong management skills, you will have experience of managing small multi-disciplinary teams, providing direction and leadership to enable development and high performance, and the ability to role-model a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Education/ Training
Master’s Degree in communications, marketing, public fundraising or another relevant field (or at least 5-years’ experience).
Work Experience

The Retail Manager with e-commerce will have responsibility for the five Danaher Charity
Shops providing strong leadership for shop managers to drive and enhance the
profitability and attraction of the shops, ensure standards and administrative procedures
are streamlined and stock levels are properly controlled with supplies also made available
for online sale. Building an online, e-commerce, function is a key priority for this role.
A high level of organisation and communication is required in this role and a hands-on
approach to ensure success at this small charity. Main responsibilities of the e-commerce
manager’s post will include:
• producing income for Danaher through sales via online platforms such as Vinted and eBay and through charity shops.
• Building good relationships with local business and doners to ensure a continuing supply of stock for resale.
• line management of the five charity shop managers and the Danaher drivers to provide to manage the logistics of stock and supplies, support volunteer recruitment

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director’s role is to lead Firefly International in its mission to safeguard, extend and develop the activities conducted by its overseas partners. Within that over-arching goal, to:

Role Mission.
To ensure Scotty’s delivers high-quality, consistent, and scalable support to those affected by military-connected bereavement, by leading all aspects of service delivery.
You’ll own the structure, systems, standards, and team needed to deliver support across all four Family Programmes (SMILES, SUPPORT, STRIDES, and the planned START programme) and help ensure our support reaches the growing number of families who need us.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Programme Operations & Service Infrastructure
- Overall accountability for the service provided to the bereaved military community.
- Leading, and working closely with, the Head of each delivery Programme to ensure all activities are impactful and meeting the needs of our community.
- Mapping and maintaining the full beneficiary journey across all programmes and cohorts (CYP and adult).
- Developing our first adult focused services and building them in line with the charity’s long-term vision to be supporting more than 25k bereaved people by 2035.
- Being the link between our service delivery and both internal and external technology partners to ensure our systems match, and meet the needs of, our processes.
- Alongside our Operations Team, lead the scoping of a full future CRM (Salesforce) rebuild and related beneficiary tech interfaces such as websites, future app development etc.
- Oversee the design of a 2026 ‘light’ CRM phase to support individual adult service delivery.
- Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of our services.
- Accountability for Safeguarding within the organisation.
Team Leadership
- Support Programme Leads (e.g. Heads of START, SMILES, SUPPORT), providing direction and support as well as ensuring clarity of ownership and goals.

- Monitor and analyse the political and policy environment relating to young people’s issues to identify opportunities for influence.
- Develop evidence-based policy positions, working with service users, frontline staff and research colleagues.
- Draft policy briefings, reports and responses to government consultations.
- Develop and deliver public affairs plans aligned to Nacro’s influencing objectives.
- Identify, build and maintain effective relationships with parliamentarians, government officials and regional decision-makers.
- Represent Nacro at external events, including APPGs, parliamentary events and meetings with MPs.
- Produce parliamentary briefings and contribute to legislative scrutiny as required.
- Organise and support parliamentary and stakeholder events that advance influencing objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with sector partners and external organisations.
- Act as the internal point of contact for expertise on young people’s policy.
- Provide content for media comment, blogs and wider external communications.
- Prepare briefings for the Head of Policy & Public Affairs, Director of Engagement & Impact and the CEO.
- Support wider campaigning and influencing work across the organisation as required.
Skills and Experience
- Significant knowledge of policy issues affecting young people.
- Strong understanding of Westminster, Whitehall and political processes.
- Experience of designing and delivering public affairs activity.
- Proven experience of influencing decision-makers and working with parliamentarians.
- Experience of building and maintaining productive external relationships.
- Strong experience of writing policy papers, briefings and campaign materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of political awareness and sound judgement.
