What does this role do?
As High Value Events Officer, you'll:

• independently deliver an assigned portfolio of events that support the wider events programme, including end-to-end management and on the day delivery.
• deliver the full event life cycle from planning, delivery and evaluation including the management of venues, suppliers, creatives and logistics.
• produce the creation of all event content and collateral from printed collateral, speeches and multimedia content, engaging and inspiring our supporters.
• manages cross organisational event project groups to agree event aims and objectives and to facilitate planning.
• work with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders including the Chief Executive, Directors, Trustees, UHNW supporters and celebrity ambassadors.

The Role:

As a proactive and innovative Project Manager for Professional Development, you will support our CPD team. This new role is pivotal in ensuring effective systems management and record keeping, stakeholder engagement and relationships across various educational projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the management of a large, growing and innovative Schools CPD programme, in person and online

2. MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB 

The communications officer is responsible for the consistent, day-to-day delivery of internal and external communications that convey JRCT’s mission and priorities and support the work of the people and organisations we fund. 

The focus of this role is delivery of our communications. You will be reliable and skilled, taking ownership of work that keeps our communications running smoothly - producing high-quality content, handling our social media presence, maintaining our website, and delivering our newsletters. You will bring creativity and flair to your communications, knowing when to inform and when to engage and finding the right tone for different audiences and channels. 

You will work independently on routine tasks while contributing thoughtfully to wider projects.

4. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

4.1 Content creation and storytelling 

• Create, edit, and produce high-quality written and digital content, including news pieces, case studies, and multimedia materials, ensuring all messaging is clear, consistent, and reflective of our mission and values across all channels 

• Partner with grant holders to develop case studies, quotes, and materials that reflect their voice and perspective 

• Actively amplify the work of grant holders, identifying opportunities to showcase their voices, expertise, and learning 

• Maintain and develop content, including sourcing images and writing copy for our website and reports, and assist with site refreshes. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure JRCT’s learning is translated and shared in accessible, meaningful terms

4.2  Social media and digital engagement 

• Run our social media accounts day-to-day, including monitoring, scheduling, and creating engaging posts

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative Communications and Brand Manager (Partnerships) to join a small, friendly and ambitious team in a varied role with genuine opportunity for development and impact. The Communications and Brand Manager (Partnerships) is primarily fundraising focused, delivering compelling communications strategies to support individual giving, fundraising events and our growing number of Corporate Partnerships, including Sky, Co-op, National Grid, OVO, Cadent, UKPN, Barratt Redrow and SGN. The role will specialise in maximising brand impact and income-raising potential.

The role sits within the growing Communications Team, which is led by the Director of Communications and includes the Communications Manager and Communications Assistant. 

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the postholder will play a key role in telling the Warm Welcome Story for positive change, raising awareness to grow the brand and creating campaign strategies to support income generation. 

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, agile and collaborative, whilst bringing creativity and initiative to their work. Relationship building will be key, working with a wide variety of high-profile corporate partners, stakeholders and ambassadors. You will be an excellent brand champion with the skills to develop stand out creative ideas for partnership campaigns, awareness campaigns and activations. While the role is primarily fundraising focused, you will support the delivery of the wider Warm Welcome Communications Strategy.

The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in delivering LTSB’s external communications, with a strong focus on content creation, social media and digital engagement.

This includes creating social media assets, drafting copy and updating and maintaining the LTSB website. You’ll also be responsible for producing persuasive messaging and visual content to support the recruitment of young people onto our programmes and to engage employer partners.

You’ll provide hands-on support in delivering LTSB’s Communications Strategy by creating and helping to plan engaging, on-brand content that helps position the charity as a leading voice on social mobility and youth employment.

You’ll help bring LTSB’s impact to life by sharing the stories of the hundreds of young people we have supported into meaningful careers. The IPNEd Secretariat’s role is to ensure that IPNEd members can exercise their unique functions as Members of Parliament as effectively as possible to accelerate educational progress. Timely and effective internal and external communication is central to this work.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Communications Officer to lead the delivery of content to expand IPNEd’s reach, grow audiences, and drive meaningful engagement with MPs and our wider stakeholders. 

You will develop and implement strategies to strengthen IPNEd’s communications channels, collaborate with our partners to design and implement communication strategies, and support our global priorities.

The role also involves supporting internal communications with our parliamentary membership, including maintaining our membership database.

Essential skills and experience

Salary, benefits, and other key information

IPNEd is hosted by Results UK. The line manager for this role will be IPNEd’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser.

1. Starting date 

The position is available immediately, and is offered as an initial 12-month contract with the intention of being extended if funding permits.

2. Salary 

This role is graded at Results Professional Level Two with a salary of £32,785 per annum.

3. Hours of work

This is a full time role 35 hours a week. These hours will be worked as agreed with the line manager, but some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the job. There is no paid overtime, but Results UK offers a flexitime system for all staff. 

4. Holidays 

25 days per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. Holidays are earned in arrears. 

5. Notice Period and Probationary Period

This role has a one-month notice period. The employee will have a probationary period of three months, during which time the notice period is one week.

6. Location

The post is a hybrid role with the expectation that the postholder can work from Results’ office at Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, 6 St George’s Circus, London, SE1 6FE when required.

Currently, most Results UK staff are combining working from home with time in the office.

Role purpose

This is a critical, income-generating role responsible for growing Perennial’s Individual Giving programme and increasing unrestricted income, with a primary focus on supporter acquisition and on supporter development and retention.

This role translates strategy into delivery by converting audiences into supporters, and supporters into income, so our Services team can provide meaningful impact in people’s lives and income into meaningful impact.

You will own and deliver acquisition income targets, and working with our Marketing team lead on the development of audience-led, multi-channel campaigns that attract, convert and retain supporters.

This is an opportunity to build and scale Perennial’s Individual Giving programme from an early stage, shaping propositions, channels and supporter journeys to drive sustainable growth.

Working closely with our marketing and digital teams, you will turn awareness of Perennial into measurable income and long-term supporter value.

Key responsibilities

1. Acquisition strategy, income ownership & growth

· Develop and deliver a data-led Individual Giving acquisition strategy, aligned to organisational income goals

The Sutton Trust delivers a suite of high-impact programmes in partnership with top universities and employers, supporting over 15,000 young people to access competitive courses, apprenticeships, and careers in the UK’s leading professions.

The University Access and Digital (UAD) Programmes Assistant will provide core operational support to the UAD team. The role will support programme set-up, student applications, digital content, events, data processes and student communications across Sutton Trust Online, UK Summer Schools, Teacher Champions and other programme activity. The postholder will support the smooth running of core programme processes, maintain accurate records, support clear communication with students and partners, and provide reliable administrative support to the wider team. The role will suit someone who is highly organised, confident working with data and systems and able to work across several programme areas at once.

The role sits in the University Access and Digital team within the wider Programmes team. The postholder will be line managed by the Senior Programmes Manager: University Access and will work closely with colleagues across University Access and Digital.

Main duties
Events and programme delivery

• Assisting in the delivery of online and in person events for students, parents/guardians, and teachers across UAD programmes. This will include organising logistics, providing technical support, tracking attendance, supporting follow up activity and encouraging student engagement.

• Supporting Programme Managers to coordinate logistics and student communications for programmes, activities and events delivered online and in person.

The Nazareth Trust is one of Scotland’s oldest and largest Christian charities, employing over 900 people in Nazareth, Israel, through its hospital, nursing college, biblical tourism operation, and international volunteer programme.

We are seeking a driven Marketing and Communications Officer with significant initiative and ability to influence through social digital content production.

In this role, you will execute the strategic direction of our communications, by expanding our reach through engaging, persuasive content. Using data analysis, the successful candidate will enhance engagement with the Nazareth Trust’s key audiences on our TNT supporter database.

You will support the Marketing and Communications Manager by researching and leveraging compelling stories that will engage and inspire activism and giving from our existing supporter database.  

An ability to develop working relationships and inspire confidence is essential. Similarly, an ability to research new media outlets. The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach working within an intercultural context where initiative will be required.

This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-focused and committed to meeting tight deadlines and expected outputs. She/he will be able to produce material which requires little or no further editing.

As part of a small UK office, the successful candidate will also provide additional and varied support as required by the Marketing and Communications Manager.

The Nazareth Trust is a Christian organisation. It’s mission, vision, practices, and values are based on a distinctly Christian ethos, and the focus of this role will be to increase awareness and support from within the Christian community. This role therefore carries a specific occupational requirement that the applicant must necessarily be a practising Christian who is in full agreement with the Trust’s values and practices.

This is a permanent post subject to a probationary period of 6 months. The successful candidate will initially work closely with our Marketing and Communications Manager.

KEY TASKS

· Support the execution of the Nazareth Trust’s communication strategy focusing on the engagement of our existing our support base.

· Optimise all communications for digital delivery, including but not limited to email, web and social media.

· Enhancing visibility within our social media sites, ensuring frequent, relevant, and appealing feeds.

· Support the development of successful campaigns which result in significantly increased levels of support through the growth of the Trust’s supporter networks internationally.

· Craft clear, impactful content that promotes our organisation, requiring minimal editing and resonating with our target audiences.

· Support the development of compelling story opportunities in line with our messaging plan, and prepare media proposals that highlight our work and mission.

· Identify content gaps and innovate with fresh ideas to ensure our messaging remains relevant and engaging.

· Support the monitoring of the external landscape, including other charities, Christian conferences, and social media trends, to generate inspiring new material.

· Maintain consistency across all content by ensuring that messaging, style, fonts, images, and tone align with our brand.

· Tailor all media stories to suit the organisation’s style, audience, and message for maximum impact.

· Support the production of ‘hard copy’ promotional material and participate in events as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essentials

Identity

· Must be a committed and practising Christian.

· Must be able to liaise and communicate interculturally and provide a positive contribution to the culture of a small team based in Edinburgh.

· Imaginative, ambitious, driven, creative and proactive.

 Education

· Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification/experience in a relevant field.

Experience

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a digital content developer and/or experience of working within marketing and comms.

 Competencies

· Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics.

· A demonstrable portfolio of compelling social media content

· Attention to detail.

· Good team working skills and a positive contributor to working culture.

· Affinity with the mission, vision, and values of the Nazareth Trust

· Ability to meet tight deadlines and execute agreed outputs well.

· High technical competency and highly IT literate

Desirable

· Open to occasional travel, including to Nazareth in Israel.
