About the Role

We are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Manager to join our busy finance team, working 30-37 hours per week, minimum 30 hours, ideally over a minimum of 4 days, starting salary £31,634 per annum (pro rata).

As Finance Manager, you will:-

· Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the finance team, including supervision, workload coordination, ongoing  staff development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

· Act as the main link between the Finance Director and the Finance Team, translating strategic direction into clear, effective delivery.

About You

We need you to bring:

·AAT Level 4 Qualification or significant equivalent finance experience, with responsibility for management accounts, reconciliations and income monitoring.

· Experience coordinating month-end processes and working across multiple income streams, contracts or funding arrangements.

· Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgement, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues and identify financial and organisational risk and escalate issues appropriately.

· Experience supervising or supporting others within a finance setting, with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to continuous improvement.

· Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, alongside a methodical, organised approach to prioritising work.

Purpose and responsibilities of the post

Reporting to the DARE UK Director, the Deputy Director is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and delivering the programme’s next phase of impact.

The post-holder will provide intellectual and operational leadership across the programme, translating strategic ambition into executable plans while ensuring delivery at pace and scale. They will work across research communities, funders, infrastructure providers, technology partners and senior stakeholders across UKRI and government to embed community voice into the design of a UK-wide secure data research ecosystem.

About This Job

This is an exciting administration role with Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) responsible for the administrative support to the Northern Ireland branch of ACCT UK.

We are looking for a professional to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and personal credibility to the team. This role is key to ensuring The Northern Ireland branch runs smoothly and efficiently, following required process and procedure.

Essential Skills

· Understanding of the Cadet Forces

· Understanding of the branch’s Devolved Nation Area (Northern Ireland)

Availability

· Able to attend appropriate in-person events and activities anywhere in the Branch Area (branch, civic, cadet etc)

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. Together we want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their cadet experience.

We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers whilst also helping young people to access cadet activities through fundraising, grant-making, developing new resources and direct support.

The Role:

As Estates Manager, you will be the driving force behind the quality, compliance and safety of Life’s estate. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of our property portfolio, ensuring all sites are safe, secure and operating to required standards.

You will:

• Lead Health & Safety and Premises/Facilities Management across the charity
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Oversee risk management, audits, inspections and safety monitoring
• Manage the Estates Coordinator and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Work with external partners to ensure checks are carried out (Gas, Fire Safety, Legionella, Asbestos, etc.)
• Manage property acquisition, disposal, leases, maintenance and contracts
• Develop and maintain estates policies and reporting systems
• Drive a positive, proactive health & safety culture across Life

Comics Youth is entering a pivotal stage of growth. As we approach our tenth year, expand our Scotland SCIO in Dundee, develop work in London, and work towards Arts Council England NPO status, we are investing in the infrastructure that will sustain our long-term impact.

The Role

This is not simply an administrative post. It is a senior operational leadership role rooted in care, clarity and accountability.

Importantly, this is not a COO position. The Managing Director retains overall strategic leadership, governance accountability and final responsibility for income generation. The Operations Manager focuses on strengthening workforce systems, delivery oversight and organisational readiness within a shared leadership structure.

You will:

• Lead HR systems and workforce processes

• Line-manage the Project Manager

• Act as Safeguarding Co-Lead

• Oversee programme delivery, reporting and KPIs

• Maintain compliance, risk management and operational systems

• Contribute to funding bids and commissioned tenders

We are currently largely grant-reliant (not yet contract-heavy), so this role is about building readiness and strengthening infrastructure rather than managing complex commissioned contracts from day one.
