Every day we move closer to cures, developing new and more effective treatments and it will be your job to deliver engaging experiences that help us to share the life-saving research that's happening now while demonstrating the crucial role that gifts in Wills play in our future.

We're looking for a driven individual to...

  • Develop and implement exciting ways to involve supporters, building loyalty and increasing propensity to give
  • Bring local science to life by arranging events for supporters such as lab visits, open days, researcher talks and Legacy Inspire events
  • Identify and engage current and new supporters to encourage legacy giving
  • Develop and implement robust regional legacy and research engagement plans that support national strategies
  • Ensure CRUK's research messages are told at supporter and public events, through delivering activities or co-ordinating researchers' attendance at external events.
  • Build relationships with researchers to encourage their involvement in engagement activities
  • Work with our Professional Partnerships Team to engage with and on-board local solicitors for our Free Will Service.

Help us lead the way through your…

  • Positive and proactive nature
  • Confident, adaptable communication skills
  • Excellent relationship, negotiating and influencing skills; with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the Legacy sector
  • Strong demonstrable IT skills including knowledge of Windows, MS office, and Raisers Edge/Care Contacts/Siebel or other sector recognised databases
