About the role
- Delivering support to people who are experiencing homelessness and are rough sleeping in the borough of Tower Hamlets.
- Conducting person-centred assessments with those who self-present at the service for support
- Agree plans, in conjunction with service users, to move into accommodation and access specialist services which will address the underlying causes of their homelessness.
- To make referrals into Tower Hamlets and Pan-London local authority housing options services, using Homeless Reduction Act
- To work with partner agencies to provide joint support to service users where appropriate
- To build relationships with housing providers and the private rented sector, to increase the portfolio of affordable referral routes into accommodation.

JUSTICE is looking to recruit an Interim Head of Governance and Operations to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 12 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of governance and operational management.
We are looking for an individual who has an interest in the purpose of the charity (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach), as well as a keen interest in taking responsibility for a diverse and wide range of tasks from providing and overseeing the secretariat functions related to our governance and risk as well as leading in important cross-cutting areas such as audit, budget management and providing HR support. This role will really suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with a degree of autonomy and who thrives in a role where no two days are the same.
This role plays a central role in the workings of the organisation including with our Policy Team, our Comms Team and our Development Team. They also join Senior Management Team meetings and all Board and Committee meetings. The role currently line manages one direct report but this may be increased to two and reports into and works closely with the Chief Executive. This role also leads on the relationships with our accountants (who deliver our financial management and accounting functions) and other external contractors.
JUSTICE is a law reform and human rights organisation, working to improve processes and policies to support everyone, particularly marginalised groups, be able to seek justice or a remedy when their rights have been breached or the law has been broken. We also seek to improve the justice system as a whole, ensuring that laws are clear and consistent and that the government and other key decisionmakers are held to account.
We are a founding member of The Justice Hub, which is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral. in London. We also have staff based in other locations including in Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. As a UK wide organisation, we are keen to support team members from all over the UK and this is a role that can be fulfilled in a hybrid way. Our London base has a number of hot desks dedicated to JUSTICE and access to meeting rooms and other spaces and we work alongside other like-minded charities in the justice sector as part of the Hub.
All team members are expected to join the ‘in-person’ days in the office (roughly 5 days a year) but otherwise we encourage and support flexible working. In addition, this role requires a minimum of 5 days per month working in our London offices. Alongside flexible working conditions, every member of staff is entitled to 27 days annual leave plus an additional two days of leave to look after your wellbeing and to celebrate your birthday. We also close the office between 25 December and 1 January (inclusive), which is addition to the annual leave mentioned above. We review salaries according to inflationary changes on an annual basis, contribute 8% to your pension for the first 2yrs, rising to a 10.5% contribution thereafter and offer generous parental and dependency-related leave. As part of looking after your wellbeing, we also provide access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Our mission is to provide mental health support available to everyone, everywhere. Tellmi is a multi-award winning fully moderated, anonymous, mental health service predominantly for young people aged 11-25. The Tellmi app safely enables young people to talk about difficult things and encourages them to help themselves, by helping each other. Beneath an engaging anonymous peer to peer feed, Tellmi integrates the latest psychological research to promote the development of protective factors such as emotional resilience, empathy, social skills, stress management and coping techniques. Tellmi is commissioned by the NHS and Local Authorities across the UK and works closely with schools, CAMHS and VCSFEs.
The Tellmi app is free to download with premium features in commissioned areas. The app is available 365 days a year, 24/7 and our moderators, counsellors and therapists are available from 8:30am until 11pm everyday.
YOUR ROLE
Your role is to ensure the operation of the Tellmi Mental Health Service is safe and effective for all users. This role encompasses direct support for our users via the Tellmi app as well as behind the scenes management of operations. You will be one of the counsellors on call to respond to high risk posts during daytime working hours. You will manage the human element of our digital service including the users, moderators, counsellors, therapists and volunteers. You will take a keen interest in the wellbeing of our users and through curiosity and compassion ensure that they receive the best support that we can provide. You will succeed in this role if have experience of counselling, youth or social work and you are a good communicator who is able to win the trust of your team through compassionate accountability.
As Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) you will take primary responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within Tellmi. You will act as a point of contact for staff and volunteers, providing advice and support on child welfare and protection matters relating to our users. You will manage safeguarding concerns, liaise with external agencies especially in commissioned areas and ensure the company’s safeguarding policies are up-to-date and effective. Although an important responsibility the DSL element is a relatively small part of the overall role.
You will report directly to the Co-CEOs. We are looking for someone who is highly proactive, totally reliable and is eager to take the initiative to help us continually improve the service. We will expect you to enjoy learning and actively pursue continual professional development to ensure that you are fully up to date with the latest policies, regulations and guidance related to your role. You will be expected to share in the on-call remote support of moderators, counsellors and therapists in the evenings and weekends.

YOUR SPECIFIC DUTIES
Moderation, counselling and supervision (15%)

Responsible for responding to high risk users during the day including emergency third party disclosures if required.

Providing occasional cover for moderation or counsellors at any point during the operational hours.

On call for ad hoc support of counsellors and therapists during evenings and weekends (typically three to four times a week).
Management and oversight of moderators, counsellors, therapists and volunteers (25%)

Organise and manage rotas for moderators/counsellors.

Process and monitor referrals for Tellmi Therapy.

Performance manage and oversee quality control of moderators, counsellors and therapists.

Maintain and develop guidance, training, policies and operating procedures (SOPs).

Facilitate peer supervision sessions for counsellors and therapists

Manage recruitment of new moderators, counsellors and therapists including identifying workforce needs.

Provide strategic oversight and operational support for the SuperPeer volunteer programme.

Monitor for issues arising on the app and report as appropriate.

Make use of data generated by the app to monitor and report on the general performance of the Tellmi service.

About the role

We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage. In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we will expand into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
The Therapies Assessor and Service Manager will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of our support service for families, professionals and individuals affected by sudden bereavement. Working closely with the Immediate Support and Debrief Manager who is responsible for leading the immediate support and debrief service, you will be responsible for ensuring that our ongoing services are trauma-informed, consistent and delivered to a high standard supporting the complex and individual needs of those who have experienced profound loss.
This role will oversee the existing ongoing support service delivered across Wales and the expansion phases across England and will contine to grow the team as the charity expands. Services include counselling, complementary therapy, play therapy, support events, coffee mornings, wellbeing walks, online events and our beautiful respite house, Ty Uchaf. You will manage a team of nine individuals who are a mixture of full and part time roles. Main duties:

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is exclusive partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their evolving team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role.
The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:
- Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position
- Manage the design and build of financial models to support strategic planning, project impact assessment, and forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic forecasts and budget plans
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance
- Lead the finance business partnering function, providing support and guidance to budget holders and key stakeholders
- Ensure monthly management accounts are produced and shared with stakeholders
- Financial evaluation of project proposals to support management decision-making
- Manage and mentor the FP&A Team, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development
- Work closely with project managers and budget holders, ensuring projects are financially sustainable and aligned with donor requirements
- Collaborate with operational teams, including HR, IT, and Procurement, to integrate financial planning with operational strategies
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified with a recognised professional body, or be able to prove they are qualified by experience
- Experience in charity financial planning, budgeting and cost recovery model in a complex organisation
- Substantial relevant finance management experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Experience in mapping and analysing processes and identifying and implementing process improvement
- Excellent communication skills and be able to influence at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to manage, support and develop diverse teams to work effectively together and with the rest of the organisation
- Ideally, experience of accounting within a grant receiving organisation
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with only occasional travel required, just a few times per month, to either the London or Edinburgh office for key meetings.

This is a maternity cover contract starting in mid-September and expected to run to the end of October 2026.

The Role
Lead and deliver the corporate partnerships strategy to meet and exceed income targets.
Maintain and grow relationships with current corporate partners.
Work with the Development Advisory Group to maximise networks and opportunities for corporate fundraising.
Identify and secure new high-value partnerships, with a focus on six figure opportunities.
Work closely with the Membership Manager to oversee the strategy, delivery, and growth of the Employer Membership Programme.
Lead and inspire a team of four (two direct reports).
The Candidate
Significant experience in corporate partnership fundraising or similar role
Experience of leading and winning six figure partnerships
Experience of managing large strategic partnerships
Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels
Experience of leading a team
