ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a self-motivated, personable, and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team to support and grow our Branches and our lifesaving clubs as well as developing and grow recognition of and participation in Lifesaving Sport.
Pivotal to the role will be the collaboration with external agencies and clubs in England, to strengthen and publicise our water safety education throughout the region together with supporting the needs of clubs in the region.
KEY TASKS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To build and maintain productive relationships with organisations involved in the field of water safety, particularly with Water Safety England and associated partners including attendance at relevant meetings in coordination with the RLSS UK team
- To actively recruit and increase the number of clubs affiliated to RLSS UK
- To support our Branches and their work in the regions through ongoing communication, sharing RLSS UK updates and feeding back on Branch activities and requirements
- Understand the water safety and drowning prevention geographical landscape across England and actively seek to enhance lifesaving provision in areas of low activity
- In partnership with the Volunteering and Events Team and Sports Committee, continue to develop and grow participation in Lifesaving Sport
- Support clubs to achieve and maintain the appropriate accreditation in line with RLSS UK requirements and policies
- Support clubs to ensure they have the appropriate status, governance, and structure to enable them to be sustainable and effective
- Support clubs, branches and working groups to offer effective pathways for the development of talent, growth, and retention of members
- Support clubs to ensure they are compliant with the safeguarding requirements set out by RLSS UK
- To support clubs to have an affective and appropriate workforce in place, including supporting them to recruit, train and retain

Thank you for your interest in the role of Interim CEO for Kent Sexual Assault & Abuse Service (KSAAS). This is a 6-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has offered sexual violence services in East Kent since 1993 and we offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives of in Kent & Medway . KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved By Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services that we offer to our survivors.
KSAAS operates Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) services and joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) services for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse. We also offer trauma focused therapeutic counselling services for children, adolescents and adults and these services are accessible through various hubs across Kent & Medway. Peer support groups and family advocacy services are available to support families when there has been an occurrence of sexual abuse experienced by one or more family members and our services are supported and informed by the ‘Kick Back’ group, who are survivors of sexual violence who offer help, support and advice to other survivors and inform our service development. We also have a range of volunteers who support us with various aspects of the service provision.
In addition to providing support and therapeutic services, a key function of the organisation is to robustly challenge the societal values, beliefs and behaviour which contribute to sexual violence, through proactive projects that aim to raise awareness, delivery of information sessions in educational institutions, delivery of NOCN accredited Rape and Sexual Abuse training, ongoing activism, challenging attitudes we encounter as part of our work with survivors, focused campaigns and participation in research focused on sexual violence.
In the last year, we worked with > 6000 survivors in our face-to-face services and specialist sexual violence Helpline service and in April 2026 we extended our provision and scope and have been commissioned to be the main provider of ISVA and Therapeutic Support services across Kent & Medway, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and innovative woman who is driven by feminist values to be the figurehead of our organisation, providing empowering leadership to the team, strategic oversight of the organisation and to ensure an outstanding service for all survivors of sexual violence. Main Purpose of The Role
The CEO is the figurehead of KSAAS and has overall responsibility for the management and performance of the service and strategic development and growth of KSAAS in collaboration with the core team, key stakeholders, Board of Trustees and survivors. Main Responsibilities of Post:
Strategic Leadership
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the issues faced by women and girls who are subjected violence and the staff who support them within the service
• Develop an in-depth understanding of local, regional and national agendas regarding sexual violence against women and girls within the service
• Review the aims, vision and mission of the organisation in collaboration with our survivors, staff, board of trustees, business partners & umbrella organisations
• Work collaboratively with the board of trustees, business partners, staff and service users to develop evidence based strategic priorities for the service and a rigorous business plan that addresses key priorities
• Lead, motivate and encourage the KSAAS staff team to provide excellent services in support of the strategic plan
• Be the leading voice of KSAAS locally, regionally and nationally, ensuring that KSAAS and its mission, campaigns, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image for the benefit of survivors of sexual assault and abuse.

Finance and Funding
• Manage the KSAAS fundraising strategy in collaboration with the management team and board of trustees

• Manage relationships with key funders and ensure that all contractual obligations to funders are met

Partnership and Communication

To be eligible for this role, you need to evidence the following knowledge, skills and experience, at least in part:
• A successful track record of leadership within an organisation of comparable complexity or across a significant area of work, including strategic, financial and operational planning.
• Experience of successful financial management of a complex budget and oversight of income generation from a variety of sources.
• A track record of successfully managing and leading people who work across a range of sites and an understanding of the challenges faced by staff working with sexual violence survivors
• Ability to think innovatively, take measured risks and manage an organisation and staff through period of significant change
• Experience of developing & maintaining effective networks with local government, statutory and other voluntary organisations.

Overview
We’re incredibly proud of our hospices. We provide respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and children from birth to five years old with life limiting or life-threatening illnesses, with our team of specialist nurses offering round-the-clock care and support. We’ve created a safe, caring and fun place, where parents know that their child will receive the best care possible - a home away from home. In order to continue with our specialist work, we need to ensure the charity continues to raise the funds we need.
About the role
Supporting the delivery of Zoe’s Place overall income generation strategy, by developing a portfolio of corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry to deliver long term sustainable income growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Account manage corporate relationships
- Account manage newly established and existing corporate relationships, ensuring that each one is appropriately supported and is reaching its full potential, through charity of the year partnerships, sponsorship, staff fundraising, payroll giving and event participation.
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure corporate fundraising offering is consistent across all relationships.
- Plan and execute events to steward current supporters.
- Meet and exceed agreed fundraising targets for corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry.
- Identify potential new opportunities to grow current partnerships, including identifying potentially useful networks within each partner organisation, developing powerful ideas, pitches and tailored proposals.
Re-engage past Corporate supporters.
- Undertake research to identify past corporate supporters using our CRM and devise/implement plans to re-engage their support.
- Plan and execute events to re-engage past supporters.
- Devise new products to re-engage past corporate supporters.
Networking and Representation
- Represent Zoe’s Place at external corporate functions to promote the work of the Hospice by giving presentations, articulating a clear and compelling case for support.

Administration and pipeline
- Use our fundraising CRM and in line with GDPR to ensure accurate and timely recording of stewardship.
- Working with an income pipeline, ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting, identifying risk to income and mitigating accordingly.
Collaborative working
- Work closely with staff across the charity to maximise opportunities to engage with high-value audiences, ensuring accurate sharing of information, such as case studies, is relevant and timely.
- Develop strong working relationships with the wider Coventry marketing, fundraising and Coventry clinical team.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other members of staff in order to ‘cross-sell’ and maximise fundraising opportunities.

About the role:
As Interim Executive Director, you'll be deputy to the CEO and a core member of our Senior Leadership Team. From Board engagement and risk management to leading our impact report and driving our plans for our 10th anniversary event, no two weeks will look the same.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership

About the Role
This is a key support role within the Foundation, providing high-quality coordination and executive support to the Strategy, Impact and Innovation and Income directorates.
As Personal Assistant and Directorate Coordinator, you will work closely with Directors and their teams to ensure priorities are well organised, meetings and activity are effectively coordinated, and follow-up is delivered. You will play a central role in enabling the smooth running of two busy directorates, supporting planning, logistics and day-to-day operations.
This is a varied and proactive role that goes beyond traditional administrative support. You will coordinate activity across teams, support senior-level meetings and engagement, and help improve systems and ways of working across the organisation. You will also deputise for the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive when required, supporting continuity across the Senior Leadership Team.
About You
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused individual with experience providing high-quality administrative or PA support in a busy environment.
You will be confident managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and supporting senior colleagues, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
You will bring strong communication and organisational skills, alongside good judgement and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
You will be a collaborative and dependable team member, with a flexible and proactive approach to supporting others. A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging is essential.

We are looking for a proactive, compassionate, organised and collaborative individual who has a passion for supporting and empowering women in their employment journeys.
The South London Service Delivery Executive will play a key role in both the South London Centre and the wider Service Delivery Team across London. They will support with the smooth running of our service, create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, volunteers and visitors and ensure that there is strong consistency and quality across every aspect of the service we deliver.
The Service Delivery Executive will often be the first point of contact a client will have with Smart Works, providing administrative, phone and booking support for clients across London and beyond. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure all women who visit us have the best possible experience.
