Renewed Hope is a local charity based in Redhill providing practical solutions and emotional support to the homeless, vulnerable and isolated of East Surrey..

Renewed Hope is currently seeking two experienced support and recovery workers to support our guests. One post is full time (37.5 hours p.w.£27,518 p.a.) and the other part time (19 hrs p.w. - pay pro rata of full time salary)

Renewed Hope offers support to rough sleepers and homeless people in crisis, and housed people suffering the effects of isolation and poverty.

The post holders will be working with guests in both our Drop-in and in our 4 bed supported house (Hope House), but will take a lead responsibility in one or the other of these projects.

Drop in:

• Welcome and assess first time guests, identifying priority needs.
• Signpost and support guests to access key statutory and voluntary services , including housing, benefits, homelessness services etc
• Provide practical support and advice to guests , for example with application forms, bill enquiries, budgeting
• Identify and action any immediate or emerging safeguarding concerns. Maintain and build links with all relevant partner agencies and multi-agency networks (eg Local Authorities, outreach teams, probation teams, Drug and Alcohol recovery, mental health etc

Hope House:

• Assist in the process of vetting the suitability of potential residents and support them with their transition in/out of Hope House
• Ensure tailored support plans (using Homeless Outcomes Star) are in place for each resident
• Support and ensure ongoing adherence to licence agreements and processes- including issuing warnings, behavioural contracts, rent collection notice papers etc
• Oversee the safe and efficient running of Hope House, taking into account any relevant Supported Housing/ HMO specific requirements
• Complete and record regular inspections of individual rooms and shared spaces, ensuring conditions are maintained to expected standards.
• Ensure required health and safety checks are carried out, including alarm testing and gas servicing

Person Specification :

• Eligibility to Work in the UK – British passport/Birth certificate or visa. We are unable to accept sponsorship applications
• Educated to Level 3 (A-level standard)
• Previous experience working with homeless and other vulnerable people
• Knowledge and appreciation of challenges faced by these people, for example trauma, mental illness, unemployment, addictions
• Knowledge of the housing and benefits systems
• Experience managing a case load and updating case notes in a timely manner
• Good organisational skills able to work on multiple tasks
• Disciplined working style, including good time management
• Good numerical and IT skills

Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.

The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

Key responsibilities

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, and detail-oriented HR Coordinator (ITT onboarding) to join our Central Team, based in Ed City - London or Lift New Rickstones in Essex, on a fixed term basis. This pivotal role will ensure Lift Schools meets all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to safer recruitment, employment compliance, and Initial Teacher Training (ITT) processes.

You will lead on pre-employment checks, safeguarding compliance, and onboarding for ITT trainees — maintaining rigorous standards and robust systems to ensure that safeguarding remains at the heart of all we do. • Lead the compliance process for employment checks across Lift Schools, ensuring full adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
• Oversee DBS, right to work, reference, and medical clearances for all staff and trainees.

Recruitment

• Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including posting roles, liaising with managers, and coordinating interviews.
• Take ownership on recruitment campaigns and ensure that managers follow the correct processes consistently.
• Provide managers with recruitment documentation and guidance aligned with best practices.
• Communicate outcomes to candidates promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all recruitment documentation is complete and stored appropriately.
• Respond to queries from the jobs inbox related to recruitment campaigns.

 In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a community and events fundraising programme. You will lead on third-party/designated fundraising events and ensure all activities are within budget and meet key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a community and events fundraising programme to maximise supporter relationships and fundraising opportunities.

About You:

• Proven experience in achieving/exceeding targets in the not-for-profit or commercial sectors.
• Experience working in a customer/supporter-focused environment.
• Good digital marketing skills, including the use of Facebook Ads Manager and fundraising platforms.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
• Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and fundraising databases (Blesma uses Raisers Edge).
