As the Marketing Manager at World Land Trust, you will play a crucial role in promoting our mission, raising awareness of our conservation efforts, and driving support for our projects globally. You will develop and implement effective marketing initiatives to engage existing supporters and attract new audiences, effectively communicating the importance of biodiversity conservation and the impact of our work. This role reports directly to our Director of Brand and Communications and works closely with our Communications Project Manager.

We are recruiting for a temporary Policy & Public affairs Administrator for an amazing childrens charity. You will need strong planning , administration and perpetration of documents.

The Role
Planning and organising the meetings for the Policy & PA team and our range of external stakeholder groups, supporting the preparation of information and documents, taking and producing high quality notes, and monitoring actions and outcomes on behalf of the meeting chairs.Including large stakeholder projects like the Health Play Alliance.
Working closely with the policy officer on administration associated with public affairs engagement, coordinating meetings with parliamentarians, sharing relevant documents and tracking and supporting on follow up correspondence.
Managing the logistics and supporting the planning and preparation of parliamentary events, external roundtables, symposiums, conferences, webinars etc.
Researching relevant literature and horizon scanning the policy landscape to support the production of briefing papers, news, and articles for trustees, senior managers and for publication on our website and social media platforms.
Working with Charity's Marketing and Communications team to support and facilitate engagement via social channels, the website and liaising with the comms team on other media opportunities.
Helping to represent the Charity's policy positions to stakeholders and external audiences including those in government, Parliament, and the NHS when in stakeholder meetings.
Working collaboratively across the Charity's team to maximise the opportunity that the policy and public affairs work brings to the wider organisation in raising income and delivering our services. Representing the Charity's PPA at internal meetings when needed (ie youth panel project group and more).
Working with I&I to track PPA engagement on the designated log to ensure the Charity can demonstrate impact and outcomes of its policy work.
Supporting the policy officer in the creation and information gathering needed for external presentations (ie to NHS networks, ICBs, DHSC)
Prioritising projects and managing schedules and your own workload in response to organisational needs.

Position Overview:

EJF is seeking a dynamic, experienced Campaign Manager to coordinate and drive our emerging climate and ocean campaigns. This senior role will help deliver EJF’s ambitious goals to drive global action to avoid climate breakdown and safeguard ocean ecosystems.

From defending climate refugees to stopping deep-sea mining, you will work on a diverse range of issues. You will possess the strategic foresight, political acumen, and advocacy skills to secure high- impact outcomes across jurisdictions.

Reporting to the CEO and working alongside our global teams in 16 countries, you will lead cross-cutting campaign initiatives, oversee implementation, and support on-the-ground teams to amplify their reach and influence.

This is a role for an experienced, action-oriented campaigner who is deeply committed to environmental justice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the execution of EJF’s emerging climate and ocean campaign areas, aligning national and global advocacy.
• Lead campaign initiatives on issues including climate refugees, fossil fuel divestment, mitigation, protection of blue carbon, stopping deep-sea mining and industrial fishing bans in marine protected areas.
• Monitor relevant policy developments, identify key opportunities, and represent EJF in strategic spaces, including multilateral forums, legislative meetings and media.
• Collaborate with international offices to strengthen campaign coordination, knowledge- sharing and cohesive messaging across regions.
• Work with EJF’s investigations, research, and communications teams to produce and deploy impactful policy briefings, reports and other campaign materials.
• Engage with partners, funders and other allies to build coalitions and support for campaign goals.
• Contribute to internal capacity building and mentor junior team members as required.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• At least 5–7 years of professional experience delivering high-impact environmental or human rights campaigns with demonstrated strategic impact.

Charity People are delighted to be supporting a Voluntary Service Council to recruit a Strategic Lead.

The charity has been administrating and managing grants for around two decades. They have a collaborative grant-giving programme, where they work with local people and organisations to raise funds that are distributed across the borough to charitable organisations that are working locally to tackle inequality and change lives for the better in Merton.

The Strategic Lead will lead, develop, and manage the giving programme for a charity in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners. This will involve the development and implementation of a programme strategy and business plan, as well as supporting colleagues to develop and implement fundraising, marketing, and grant-making strategies and plans.

Key responsibilities

* Organisational strategy & business plan: Develop and implement an innovative programme strategy and sustainable business plan for the giving programme and align strategy and plans with funder objectives and the wider aims of the charity.
* Partnership development: Identify and secure new partners to support the giving programme's success, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders (London Borough of Merton, Merton Chamber of Commerce) to unlock fundraising, marketing, and grant-making opportunities, convene and facilitate quarterly Steering Committee meetings and produce update reports, and represent the giving programme.
* Grant-making: Assist the Grants Manager in developing a comprehensive grant-making strategy, including participatory practices, and ensure robust monitoring and evaluation for all grant-making initiatives.
* Budget management: Oversee programme income and expenditure in collaboration with the Finance Team, lead on budgeting, financial monitoring, and reporting; produce quarterly finance reports for the Steering Committee
* Fundraising and marketing: Support the Fundraising & Engagement Manager in delivering a sustainable fundraising strategy, and work with the Marketing Manager to implement an effective marketing strategy that enhances the giving programme's profile.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of developing and delivering community programmes across borough or equivalent. You will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
* Ability to create, develop, and deliver quality programmes and projects
* Significant experience of staff or volunteer line management and development
* Ability to network and form positive and productive working relationships with a range of people from different professional and personal backgrounds
* Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills, including ability to prioritise and plan own workload, manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
* Experience of gathering and analysing data to evidence outputs and outcomes

* Understanding of fundraising

You will also need to be able to demonstrate good local knowledge of the voluntary sector, knowledge and understanding of outcomes focused work, and excellent IT skills including experience of Office365 and databases. If you have worked within a grant-giving organisation before this would be beneficial.

The charity is based in Mitcham (CR4 3UD) and you will be willing to attend the office at least 1-2 times a week, as well as be able to attend meetings and events within Merton. There may be out of hours work for which TOIL is granted. The ideal start date will be January or early February at the latest.

About the Role

In this newly created role, you will work directly with the CEO, providing oversight and direction to Team Leaders to ensure that services operate effectively and meet contractual requirements. You will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Buckinghamshire, with the ability to make an impact quickly.  You’ll bring proven hands-on experience in a similar role working with a team to establish effective and innovative ways to deliver services. 
 

Main Responsibilities 

1. Strategic and Operational Leadership

·       Hold overall accountability for service performance and quality, working through the Adult, Young and Hospital Carers Team Leaders who lead day-to-day operations 

·       Ensure alignment with our strategic priorities and our commissioned outcomes.

·       Contribute as an active member of the Senior Management Team, supporting organisational strategy, planning and delivery.

·       Ensure that all carer services operate cohesively, with smooth transitions between age groups and consistent quality standards.

·       Use data and feedback to drive service improvement and innovation.

2. Service Delivery and Quality

·       Oversee the effective management of the Adult, Young, Young Adult and Hospital teams.

·       Embed a culture of high performance, reflective practice and continuous learning.

·       Ensure strong safeguarding practices are central in all services

·       Ensure systems are used consistently for case management, data recording and reporting.

·       Work with the Diverse Communities Worker and other leads to ensure services are inclusive, culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of underrepresented groups 

·       Oversee the effective involvement of volunteers within carer services, working with the Volunteer Manager to ensure they are well-supported, trained and valued as integral members of the team.

3. People Leadership and Team Development

·       Foster collaboration and a supportive team culture built on the Carers Bucks values.

·       Line-manage and support the three Team Leads, ensuring clarity of priorities, effective supervision and professional growth.

·       Support wellbeing, resilience and a sense of shared purpose across teams.

4. Safeguarding

·       Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Carers Bucks, providing advice and guidance to staff on safeguarding issues, ensuring compliance with policy and statutory requirements, and escalating concerns appropriately.

·       Maintain oversight of all safeguarding cases across the organisation and support Team Leaders in their DDSL responsibilities.

5. Partnership and Representation

·       Provide strategic coordination across thematic leads (Diverse Communities, Hospitals, Volunteers) to ensure alignment and shared priorities across services 

·       Represent Carers Bucks strategically with partners across social care, education and health. 

·       Support the CEO in relationships with commissioners, primary and secondary care, schools and VCSE partners to enhance identification and referral of carers.

·       Champion the voice of carers of all ages through partnership boards, networks and other forums.

6. Performance, Impact and Reporting

·       Monitor performance against contract outcomes, KPIs and quality standards.

·       Work with our Data Lead to ensure accurate reporting and a strong evidence base for our work. 

·       Analyse trends and learning to inform service design and improvement.

·       Contribute to quarterly and annual reports for commissioners and trustees.

·       Provide effective feedback upwards to the CEO.

7. Organisational Contribution

·       Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and organisational development.

·       Represent Carers Bucks at events, conference and key campaigns 

·       Lead on the co-design of new approaches, including digital and preventative models.

·       Stay abreast of local and national developments in carers’ policy and practice.

·       Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Chief Executive.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team
• Formulate and implement plans for various therapy routes and management of assessing mental health conditions based upon appropriate conceptual frameworks and evidence-based practices

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all induction and mandatory training, ensuring it meets organisational requirements

About our Complex Needs & Community Services

Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Complex Needs and Community Services have rapidly expanded. The services portfolio includes, The Community Support Services, The Domestic Abuse Service, Bounce Back, Complex Needs Housing Service, Flourish (for refugees and asylum seekers), Primary Care Network Service, Peer Support, Wellbeing Services and our newest services at The Sadie Centre. The services provide one to one outreach and community-based support for people across Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. About You and the Role

The Mental Health Administrator will be a key member of the Complex Needs and Community services, providing effective administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate and effective policies, communication and procedures are in place.

Key responsibilities

• To support the Complex Needs and Community teams to process referrals and make 72-hour initial referral phone calls
• To be the first point of contact for HMN callers via telephone, email and in person – providing high quality service to every person
• To undertake responsibility for admin duties for the Complex Needs and Community teams, including the processing of mail, responding to internal/external e-mails, word processing, entering accurate statistics, sending out reminders, staff training audits, record keeping audits, diary management and letter writing.
• To work in line with standardised administrative systems across HMN
• To work with the Team Leader for Peer Mentoring for groups to manage admin inboxes, send out meeting place invites and coordinate Peer Mentoring services

Background 

The Minster Centre is a registered charity based in Queens Park, London NW6 that trains psychotherapists and counsellors. As an accredited higher education organisation, we provide in-person and online courses throughout the week and weekend. The Minster Centre also provides a psychotherapy and counselling service to the local community and has a number of rooms that are hired out for therapy, training, and events.

Summary of the job

The Receptionist is a critical and central role at The Minster Centre, providing a welcoming service to students, room hirers, therapy clients and staff members that is efficient and aligned with The Minster Centre’s Ethos. The Reception Team provides first-line support to tutors and students as well as undertakes administrative duties crucial to the running of the Centre. They also provide support to other staff members where appropriate. The hours are 23 hours per week, including Saturdays during term time.

The Minster Centre is a small, friendly organisation and the Receptionist needs to be an adaptable and flexible person who enjoys teamwork within a continuously evolving environment. The Receptionist role is varied, and you will be expected work with initiative and autonomy to respond to the needs of the Centre.

The ideal candidate will have previous administration and front of house experience to help ensure that all building users (students, room hirers and clients) are welcomed, that the building is available and set up for training and therapy services, and that the building is closed and secured at the end of the day. Furthermore, they will be organised, have excellent IT skills and knowledge and practice of using Zoom or be willing to learn. They will have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. In addition, they will be able to work autonomously on various tasks and work well in a team. This is a great opportunity for someone with relevant transferable skills to develop those skills further.

Duties and responsibilities:

Reception

· Ensuring that Reception is always covered by working with the Reception Manager to organise a reception rota that covers absence, holidays, etc.

· Co-ordinating access to the building, opening and closing the building.

· Receiving visitors

· Setting the appropriate space/s up for events and assisting with special or evening events when requested (e.g. Graduation)

· Ensuring there are adequate supplies of daily cleaning materials and refreshments and organising catering for specific events

· Responding appropriately to emergencies (training will be provided)

· Answering, screening and forwarding any incoming telephone calls, and providing basic information when needed

· Managing our room booking system, including supporting our Finance team with invoicing of room hirers

· Dealing with room booking enquiries and bookings for events

· Data entry tasks, or similar, in quiet periods

IT Support

· Diagnosing and resolving technology equipment issues in the training rooms (basic training can be provided). This might include but is not limited to; ensuring equipment is in working order and reporting any faults; ensuring equipment is connected correctly; amending equipment settings.

· Assisting with Zoom support for online training sessions, interviews and other meetings.

· Providing IT assistance to Tutors, including responding to basic Moodle, Zoom and Microsoft Office queries/tasks. This will include being part of an on-call rota for first line remote support.
