Bexley Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to lead our growing Digital Champions project. About the role

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will:

· Recruit, train, and support volunteer Digital Champions across Bexley.

· Build partnerships with community groups and local organisations to reach residents who need support.

· Organise regular volunteer meet-ups, training sessions, and peer learning opportunities.

· Monitor and report on project activity and outcomes.

· Promote the Digital Champions network and share its impact locally and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented storyteller and strategic communicator to join our busy, dynamic, and focused team of professional activists as a Copywriting Coordinator. With a natural flair for persuasive writing and a background in direct response marketing, you will craft powerful narratives that expose the reality of animal farming, inspire action, and mobilise financial support for our life-saving mission.

You will be responsible for creating compelling content across print and digital platforms – from fundraising appeals and newsletters to blogs, campaign pages, and supporter journeys. Combining creativity with analytical rigour, you will ensure every piece of copy both engages hearts and delivers measurable results. You will proudly champion Animal Equality’s tone of voice, supporting fellow team members to apply our messaging to their copy.

This is a pivotal role in growing Animal Equality UK’s reach, deepening supporter relationships, and driving the income we need to achieve lasting change for farmed animals.

The Copywriting Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with team members across our UK and international teams.

In addition to monthly meet-ups, some travel within the UK may be required for demonstrations, meetings, and events. For the past several years, we have focused our efforts on eliminating cages from the egg industry by securing cage-free policies from major retailers, restaurants, and manufacturers. OWA groups share tactics and resources to secure as many wins for animals as possible, specializing in institutional campaigning that can be tailored to our members’ unique circumstances and challenges.

As Temporary Global Campaigns Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for researching, coordinating, and launching hard-hitting global corporate animal welfare campaigns against major multinational companies. These campaigns involve collaboration and coordination with animal protection organizations around the world and directly contribute to The Humane League’s org-wide goal of ending the abuse of animals raised for food by securing global cage-free policies that significantly improve the lives of millions of egg-laying hens. 

As a campaigner, you’ll have the opportunity to develop knowledge of our targets, our primary campaign strategies, and the tools we will use to win. You will assist with the execution of tactics spanning email, social media, advertisements, and other digital spaces, and you’ll also help the team leverage our digital action platform by setting up digital actions with a high degree of accuracy. This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research to help inform campaign strategies, tactics, project plans, and communications (including slogans and language). Gather and monitor contact information, data, and key details about target companies and their executives. 

• Support Global Corporate Campaigns Leads with the preparation and execution of campaign tactics in line with THL’s overarching strategy, including (but not limited to) email and social media actions, phone calls to corporate employees, petitions, and advertisements. Assist in planning the schedule of campaign tactics and developing campaign materials, including website content, videos, petitions, advertisements, social media actions, and literature language.

• Collaborate with internal teams at THL and external stakeholders in the OWA to align on goals and debrief on the progress of our campaigns.

• Work closely with other members of the Global Campaigns team to plan, design, and monitor impactful digital actions that will advance our cage-free work and secure victories in global campaigns.

• Assist with setup of digital actions within the OWA’s internal platforms for action taking and supporter building. Coordinate with campaigners, OWA groups, and IT teams as needed.

• Support Global Corporate Campaigns Leads in coordinating and motivating OWA members across 90+ organizations to take action.

The Sexual Violence (SV) Alliance is a ground-breaking collaboration between seven specialist sexual violence organisations: four Rape Crisis Centres (nia, Rape Crisis South London, Solace and Women & Girls Network) and three specialist organisations, (Galop, Respond, and SurvivorsUK). Together, we bring experience in delivering expert, intersectional, and trauma-informed services to survivors of sexual violence.

The Alliance Coordinator (AC) will work closely with the Alliance Director to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Alliance. They will support across a wide range of tasks that are critical to operational and strategic leadership of the Alliance, including preparing and coordinating senior meetings, preparing communications, report writing and collating survivor feedback. Working within the Central Services team, the Operations and Front of House Coordinator (OFOHC) plays an essential role in supporting the smooth-running and operational effectiveness of the Students’ Union (SU) and its Front of House.

We’re looking for a youth worker to plan, deliver and facilitate educational and cultural activities to separated children (up to 21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club held weekly in partnership with CARAS (Community Action for Refugees & Asylum Seekers) in South West London. About the Role​​

Based in the UK, this role will play a central role in managing and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of multiple project delivery roles across various countries, while also offering HR support to an ambitious FCDO-funded global safeguarding programme. Main Responsibilities:
 

This role will ensure that visitors feel comfortable, valued, and informed about the services available through Pecan. Responsibilities will include:

About the role 

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers. 

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. 

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings. 

About the team 

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.

The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages. 

You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. You are able to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment, and you bring the organizational skills needed to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. • Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring,  fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. • Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
• Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions. 
• Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more. 
• Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
• Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation. 
• Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.
