The role

We are looking for an energetic, organised and enthusiastic Corporate Development Officer to join our ambitious Fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in corporate fundraising or B2B account management who is confident building strong, long-term partnerships.

You will play a key role in growing our corporate income by stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones. Working closely with the Partnerships Manager and Deputy Head of Fundraising, you’ll help the organisation prepare for significant planned growth and an upcoming capital appeal.

Salary: £28,500 per annum

Key responsibilities

• Deliver against corporate income targets in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships and corporate fundraising campaigns.
• Steward existing corporate supporters with high-quality engagement, communication and reporting.
• Prepare compelling proposals, pitch materials and partnership agreements.
• Plan and manage corporate supporter engagement opportunities including meetings, volunteering days and events.
• Maximise corporate volunteering and pro bono opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records using our CRM system.
• Contribute to industry insight by monitoring trends, opportunities and sector developments.
• Attend meetings, pitches, events and occasional evening/weekend activities (TOIL provided).

About you

Essential Experience & Skills

• At least 1 year in fundraising or B2B account management.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience working to income targets and managing pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report and proposal writing.
• Good negotiation, influencing, and presentation abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in corporate fundraising.
• Experience developing pitches and securing COTY partnerships.

The Role

You will coordinate and deliver a varied programme of activities including fundraising events, sector conferences, networking opportunities and national campaigns such as Professional Care Workers’ Week. You will be confident managing event logistics, working with venues and suppliers, coordinating speakers and partners, and ensuring events are well organised and professionally delivered. You will enjoy creating engaging and memorable experiences that help supporters feel connected to the charity’s work. 

You will work closely with the fundraising team to support campaigns and partnerships, helping to create engaging opportunities that encourage supporters and organisations to get involved. The role will involve building positive relationships with partners and sponsors and representing the charity at meetings and events across the sector. 

About You 

You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and finding new ways to engage supporters, partners and care workers in the work of the charity. 

You will have experience delivering marketing campaigns and organising events, and you will enjoy bringing ideas to life from concept through to delivery. Whether coordinating a fundraising event, supporting a conference presence or helping to deliver a national campaign, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects and ensuring everything runs smoothly. 

You should be confident using a range of marketing channels including social media, email marketing and websites, and be willing to try new approaches to help raise awareness and grow engagement. You will be organised and detail-focused, able to manage event logistics, coordinate suppliers and venues, and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. 

You will be a proactive self-starter who can work independently while also being a strong team player. Experience in marketing, events or fundraising is essential, and knowledge of the health and social care sector would be an advantage.

The Special Events Manager is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Fundraising team.

You'll be working closely with the Associate Director of High Value Engagement

You'll have direct line management of the Special Events Officers to achieve agreed objectives and fundraising targets. 

You'll be working collaboratively within the High Value Engagement team to identify prospects from Special Events that can be stewarded to create long term high value relationships across the organisation.

You would enhance your knowledge and experience of the charity sector funding landscape in the UK and internationally. You would significantly expand your practical knowledge of project delivery and monitoring in diverse areas of international development such as water and sanitation, prevention of violence against women, food security and nutrition, rural livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, community disaster resilience, to name a few. You would have opportunity for creative writing about our projects for funding applications and project reports, and with scope to develop the role you might find yourself writing blog posts, newsletters and so on. You would have the chance to network with other NGOs and funders at events and international development conferences. You may have the opportunity to travel to south Asia or Africa for project evaluation or conferences / networking, subject to funding. Role description / person specification:

You would undertake research to identify new potential funding partners, write grant applications, and manage successful partnerships. You would write project funding proposals primarily to trusts and foundations, corporate foundations, and statutory sources. Some charity-sector fundraising experience is desirable. Experience in fundraising from trusts / foundations in particular would be an advantage. The ability to draft inspiring narratives for different audiences is a crucial aspect of this role. You must also be comfortable using spreadsheets and have strong attention to detail, as you would be working with project budgets. You would research and attend relevant events and identify other such opportunities to promote Pragya’s work, to network, and to learn about the latest research and trends in international development. You would contribute to Pragya’s social media posts and campaigns. A basic level of knowledge about video editing and media tools like Canva would be an advantage.

The UK branch of Pragya is a small team, and so you must be capable of using your initiative and managing your own workload. You would need to prioritise your commitments and work to deadlines as needed. You would contribute to the charity’s administrative needs.

This is a role that demands commitment and offers strong career development in the international development sector. We're recruiting a New Partnerships Manager to be responsible for proactively identifying, prospecting, and cultivating leads in key sectors to secure new 5-6 figure, multi-year corporate partnerships with local and national businesses.

What does this role do?
As New Partnerships Manager, you'll:

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target,
• support the Senior New Partnerships Manager in the identification and cultivation of new corporate partnerships, accessing a range of income streams and budget holders,
• support senior team members in attending meetings with potential corporate partners, including preparing relevant briefs in advance,
• prepare relevant and creative applications and proposals for pitches for potential corporate partners,
• work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both Dogs Trust and the new partner.

First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 16th and 17th March 2026, and will take place on Teams. Please note, this role is based at our London office, with office attendance at least one day per week and sometimes at short notice.

To be successful in this role you'll have demonstrable experience of new business development, ideally in a charity setting, with a track record of securing six-figure partnerships. About the Role.  

We are investing in our Fundraising and Development team to deliver an ambitious 5-year fundraising strategy. The Trusts and Philanthropy Manager is pivotal in securing philanthropic support from trusts and foundations, legacies, major donors, and corporate partners.

 
Over the strategy period you will be responsible for developing annual trust and grant income to £500,000+, by securing grants of five figures and above and gaining multi-year donations.Using your experience in creating strong cases for support, including unrestricted costs, and pipeline development, you will work with two part-time colleagues to increase annual income from major donors, legacies and corporate partners to £250,000+ (excluding exceptional legacy gifts). 

With curiosity, you will identify funding opportunities and reach new audiences. You will thrive on building strong, long-lasting relationships, cultivating donors through verbal and written communications, and managing stewardship events.

As a senior manager, you will have budget responsibility, report regularly, and mitigate under performance.You will ensure joined-up planning and delivery, developing fundraising relationships across income streams, and you will enjoy line management, collaborating with others, and leading project groups to deliver targets on deadlines. 

A typical week is expected to include at least 2 days from our Wolseley Head Office, 1-2days in Staffordshire to secure new support and meet donors, the remaining time worked remotely, with flexibility as required.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

Over the past three years, Acorns’ leadership has enhanced collaboration and innovation across the charity and embedded an organisation-wide fundraising culture.

With a newly integrated Partnerships Team spanning corporate partnerships and community fundraising, and an ambitious £5m appeal ahead, Acorns is now seeking a Senior Community Partnerships Manager to oversee and deliver the charity’s community fundraising strategy, driving c.£1m of income. The strategic focus will be on building more commercially productive relationships with SMEs, community groups, and associations across the West Midlands.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships,  you will personally manage a portfolio of key community partnerships while leading and developing a team of three Community Partnerships Managers. While the team operates on a patch basis (Birmingham/Black Country and Worcester), you will take a lead on integration across Acorns, working closely with Retail and Care colleagues.

This is a superb opportunity for someone who has evolved from traditional community fundraising into more commercially-focused, regional partnerships.

About the role

As Senior Community Partnerships Manager, you will:

• Report to the Head of Partnerships and line manage three Community Partnerships Managers, ensuring plans are focused, targets/KPIs are set and met and ROI is prioritised
• Oversee key accounts worth circa £1m across the team, seeking opportunities to uplift/evolve, whilst delivering exceptional donor experience for SME, community group, and association partners
• Be the key account manager for a range of partnerships that have the potential for growth, are higher profile or have a wider geography than one patch alone
• Work closely with the Corporate Team to ensure smooth handover of partners with higher value potential or commercial complexity or in reverse for those that focus more on staff fundraising alone
• Network map and build relationships across key sectors, utilising Acorns senior leaders to open doors
• Contribute to the development of fundraising products and campaigns that appeal to community audiences
• Collaborate with Retail, Care and other fundraising teams to maximise referrals and cross-team opportunities

About you

Essential skills and experience: 

• Proven experience of growing income through regional community engagement, ideally within a charity setting
• Either line management or substantial coaching/mentoring experience
• Experience of working with community leaders
• Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
• Experience of organising events, managing volunteers, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
• Track record of cross-team working with examples of impact, ideally this will include collaborating with corporate partnerships teams

This is primarily an office‑based role due to the team‑management and supervisory responsibilities. We expect most work to be carried out on-site to support new team members and ensure effective collaboration. However, once established in the role, there may be scope to work from home up to two days per week, depending on performance, team needs, and operational requirements.

About you:

For you the supporter is key, whether they’re a running in a marathon, holding a tea party, or a corporate partnership taking part in an international sponsored bike ride.

You’ll be enthusiastic, highly organised, and able to multitask effectively. With strong verbal and written communication skills, you’ll also have some experience in charity fundraising, particularly community fundraising—whether voluntary or paid.
