We are looking for someone with a proven track record in delivering high-quality IT support service through effective contract management of the recently appointed outsourcing company, including the resolution of any remaining on-boarding issues. You will bring a strong understanding of IT security practices, regulatory compliance, and cyber security protocols. You will also be a trusted advisor for senior colleagues, providing expertise, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions for modernisation, automation, and cost optimisation across the organisation. You will provide advice and technical guidance to teams who manage their own applications and systems (Finance, Fundraising, People and Culture, Helpline) and manage the procurement of new IT software solutions with key investments in case management, housing management and finance systems in the early planning stages. The Director of Professional Services is responsible for our professional affairs activities, overseeing the creation, maintenance and application of relevant standards through our professional affairs committee, and certification and accreditation schemes. They are also responsible for member recruitment and management, ensuring we continue to attract new RSS members and partners, and that their needs are met. They also oversee a range of activities that engage RSS members (including groups that bring members together on a topic or geographical basis, RSS honours and awards, and our volunteering opportunities), securing both our impact on society and member retention.
Informed by an in-depth understanding of the needs of members and prospective members, the Director manages these activities strategically across the organisation, bringing relevant staff together within small teams working on defined goals that support our objectives, foster a sense of value and community for all members and ultimately lead to the growth in membership and impact of the Society.
Pension and benefits: Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. - Build a caseload of engaged church contacts to meet or exceed annual fundraising & acquisition goals, managing your time & workload.
- Ensure churches are on the correct supporter journey for their level of engagement, using appropriate touchpoints (telephone, email, meetings, hand written notes etc) to intelligently engage with key contacts. About the Role
Over the past 7 years, UnLtd have developed and built an investment offer for social purpose organisations. This has included the development and full deployment of two investment funds - UnLtd Impact Fund, and the Thrive Fund. About The Role
The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. Purpose of Role
This Senior Portfolio Manager will play a key role in the success of the team responsible for Comic Relief’s funding programme focused on tackling the effects of poverty.
The Senior Portfolio Manager will hold direct responsibility for a number of investments with Funded Partners, both in the UK and internationally, ensuring excellent grant making practice, and be responsible for managing funding calls. The Senior Portfolio Manager will also work with colleagues from the Partnerships and Fundraising teams to assist with the mobilization of resources.
Working with the Head of Programme, the postholder will provide management support in the team, working with colleagues on specific team initiatives and cross-team collaborations, holding relationships with strategic importance, developing new areas of work, and other specific initiatives contributing to the team’s overall operational success.
