We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Fundraiser to help grow our income and sustain the life-changing work we do every day!
Sportability provides opportunities for people with paralysis to participate in a programme of sport and challenging pursuits. Our aim is to get them out of their wheelchairs, off their crutches and sticks and into canoes, gliders, microlights or sailing boats. Whether quad biking or Blokart sailing, shooting shotguns, air-rifles and pistols, or bows and crossbows, it’s about turning their back on ‘disability’ and JUST DOING IT!
This is a brand-new position and an exciting opportunity to join our team at a pivotal time in our development. You’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering a diverse range of income-generating activities that drive forward our strategic fundraising plan. Your work will directly support the growth of our charity, enable us to reach more people, and help create lasting, positive change in their lives.
Permanent WFH Contract
• Hours: Flexible but no less than 20 hours (part time) with a potential to grow to (full time) 30 hours per week. We offer flexible hours to accommodate caring responsibilities.
• Pay £15,600 per year (part time) - £23,400 per year (full time), pro-rata for any agreed variation between those times
You will be required to travel to North London for training and meetings
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and securing funding from trusts, foundations, individuals, and corporate partners
- Writing grant applications and donor proposals
- Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors and supporters
- Developing engaging fundraising campaigns and communications
We’re seeking someone who has:
- Some experience in fundraising
- Good typing skills and experience with Word and Excel
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
And is:
- Organised, self-motivated, and creative in their approach
- Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives

Tom’s Trust, a charity dedicated to providing clinical psychology support to children, with brain and central nervous system tumours, and their families. We currently have services in East Anglia, the North East, North West of England and Thames Valley and have ambitious plans to extend our reach but need your help to do so!
Are you a passionate, highly motivated and organised individual? Do you have brilliant application and report writing skills and are able to build effective relationships with donors? If you are, we are seeking a Trusts & Foundations Manager to be an integral part of the Fundraising team where you will be responsible for submitting applications to Trusts & Foundations for our services in the UK.
You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience at management level and will be working to deliver Tom’s Trust’s ambitious targets for trust and foundations income for the coming years and beyond. The post-holder will help to research and explore new avenues for funding and building a strong pipeline of new donors who have the potential to support the charity over multiple years. You will be building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at charitable trusts and corporate foundations and preparing and delivering targeted funding applications to those organisations. You will be able to build upon and develop a compelling case for support for both the services we offer as a whole and for specific projects that reflect our work.

We have an excellent opportunity to join as Regional Fundraising Manager (Home Counties) for the wonderful Alzheimer’s Society. You will report to the Senior Regional Fundraising Manager. As part of this role, you will have overall responsibility for the development of your team in the home counties, aiming to achieve and exceed an annual income target, delivering exceptional supporter stewardship and acquisition of new business, and driving a high-performance culture.

You will drive relationship building, providing exceptional stewardship to boost retention and lifetime value for the charity’s highest value supporters.
To be successful as the Regional Fundraising Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience as a regional fundraising expert with strong knowledge of community income streams (corporate, clubs/groups, and individuals)
- Significant experience of providing strong leadership across a team, empowering them to problem solve independently and driving high performance.
- Strong experience of developing, delivering and reporting on budgets and non-financial targets.
