You will facilitate and run our Food Invention Challenges in a kitchen facility in central Birmingham, collaborating with corporate teams, local stakeholders and the venue.

You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.
As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. Key responsibilities:

About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. The post will focus primarily on funding for research, academic posts, scholarships and infrastructure related to Neuroscience which includes Mental Health and neurological disease (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Epilepsy). The fundraiser will work on special projects including the possible major capital redevelopment of the Warneford site. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is a global organisation dedicated to funding research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications. JDRF works towards its mission by funding research projects aimed at improving treatments, developing technologies to better manage T1D, and ultimately finding a cure. The charity also provides support and resources to individuals and families affected by T1D, as well as advocating for policies and funding that advance diabetes research and improve access to care.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager role sits within the Fundraising and Engagement Department. JDRF receives no government funding, so all of their income is generated by the activities of this department.
The high-performing team work across the UK to deliver on challenging fundraising targets, collaborating across the organisation to generate income to find a cure and support the type 1 community.
The role supports on the development, including the research and approach of new high value corporate partnerships (£50k to £500k+), that will benefit the work of JDRF financially and/or strategically.
About the role
- Proactively secure and account manage strategic partnerships at 5- and 6-figure level that have long term benefits to JDRF
- Support a team income target of c.£600k.
- Account manage and grow income from corporate partners both new and established.
- Undertake research on corporate prospects by mapping and utilising existing connections and networks to establish new avenues of corporate support.
- Support with preparation of high quality, compelling proposals, presentations and pitches for prospective partners.
