Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. The Role
Proactively submit tailored fundraising applications to a wide range of charitable trusts, corporate foundations, National Lottery and statutory bodies, to fulfil the team income of c1m.
Continue working with a very warm pipeline, with many bids in progress and over 330k secured already.
Work with the Director of Communications and Fundraising (Director) and/or the Head of Fundraising as appropriate.
Manage and support the Trust and Foundations Officer, who oversees the smaller trust programme, empowering them to develop, grow and contribute to the overall strategy.
The Candidate
Proven experience of writing successful and compelling proposals and applications to Trusts and Foundations and securing multi year funding.
Experience of working across an organisation to develop fundraising bids and reports, ideally within a campaigning charity.
Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and budgeting.
Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects.

Your Role as a Partnerships Fundraiser
As a Partnerships Fundraiser, you will be at the heart of our mission, working directly with two of our volunteer fundraising boards. As a Senior Events Manager you will:
- Line manage the Community and Events Executive
- Engage with local and large businesses and corporate bodies to actively engage them with challenge and community events
- Organise and secure sponsorship for special events such as the annual Gala Dinner, Supporters Thank You Evening, Christmas Carol Concert
- Work alongside the Communications Team as well as manage relationships with external designers, printers etc to create and produce a range of publicity materials
- Oversee the maintenance of contact with challenge participants in the lead-up to each event, providing fundraising advice and training support, as well as pre-event motivational activities/meetings.
In order to be successful, you must have :
- Significant experience in Fundraising Events
- Line management experience
- Demonstrable experience leading Community, Challenge and Special events
- Strong organisational and time-keeping skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting event participants
- Confident in talking to groups and attending events, speaking about the charity

You will raise money for a range of projects and programmes, as well as manage a number of unrestricted income streams including our lottery. You will be happy to travel to our gardens and shows as needed, working closely with colleagues across the RHS.
Building on your strong experience and knowledge of individual giving programmes, your role will be to help us expand our income and activity plan. This is an exciting time join the RHS as we move ahead with a number of new transformational programmes and seek to increase our fundraising income for a variety of new projects including our scientific research, sustainability projects and new programmes throughout the UK.
