Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity.  Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our employment specialists based within primary and secondary care.

This role is still within its infancy and will be working closely with the Executive Director to lead and oversee our employment services.  Recent investment in our services has led to the growth of our employment offer and this role currently oversees four employment teams across Camden and Islington.  The post holder will work closely with the other members of the senior leadership team to shape, deliver and evaluate Hillside’s business strategy and support on ensuring Hillside continues to meet the needs of the local mental health community. 

Role overview:

- To oversee and support the day-to-day running and growth of the employment services offering of the Charity; currently two Individualise Placement and Support (IPS) services and two Employment Advisors (EA) in Talking Therapies services.

- To line manage employment services managers:

o Islington IPS Manager

o Camden IPS Manager

o Islington EA in Talking Therapies Manager

o Camden EA in Talking Therapies Manager

- The post holder will be an active member of the senior leadership team, working in close coordination with the Executive Director and the Director of Clubhouse Operations.

- In conjunction with the Executive Director, the post holder will lead on the growth and sustainment of Hillside’s employment services. The post holder will also be expected to supervise new staff where new services are developed.

- The post holder will work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Clubhouse Operations to develop and implement Hillside’s business strategy.

The Role

The role:

 Person Specification:

· Proven track record of personally soliciting corporate partnerships at the six-figure level and above

Your Role as a Partnerships Fundraiser

As a Partnerships Fundraiser, you will be at the heart of our mission, working directly with two of our volunteer fundraising boards. These boards are comprised of influential, high-profile individuals who leverage their networks to secure significant funding. You will manage and develop key relationships, ensuring maximum income generation through corporate partnerships, major gifts, and collaborative events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with board members to secure new supporters and corporate partnership opportunities
• Manage a portfolio of high-value donors, providing excellent stewardship to maximise long-term income
• Work with Senior Partnerships Managers to identify and secure new fundraising partnerships

As a Senior Events Manager you will:

• Line manage the Community and Events Executive
• Engage with local and large businesses and corporate bodies to actively engage them with challenge and community events
• Organise and secure sponsorship for special events such as the annual Gala Dinner, Supporters Thank You Evening, Christmas Carol Concert
• Work alongside the Communications Team as well as manage relationships with external designers, printers etc to create and produce a range of publicity materials
• Oversee the maintenance of contact with challenge participants in the lead-up to each event, providing fundraising advice and training support, as well as pre-event motivational activities/meetings. 

In order to be successful, you must have :

• Significant experience in Fundraising Events
• Line management experience
• Demonstrable experience leading Community, Challenge and Special events
• Strong organisational and time-keeping skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting event participants
• Confident in talking to groups and attending events, speaking about the charity

Providing supportive line management to the Trusts and Grants Coordinator, you will drive our trusts and statutory funding income streams, working collaboratively across APF teams and with our supporters.

We are looking for an experienced individual giving fundraiser to join the Development and Corporate Partnerships Department based in London.  You will raise money for a range of projects and programmes, as well as manage a number of unrestricted income streams including our lottery.  You will be a proactive fundraiser who can confidently communicate our impact and plans to our members across the UK and work as part of the wider team.  You will be happy to travel to our gardens and shows as needed, working closely with colleagues across the RHS.

Building on your strong experience and knowledge of individual giving programmes, your role will be to help us expand our income and activity plan. This is an exciting time join the RHS as we move ahead with a number of new transformational programmes and seek to increase our fundraising income for a variety of new projects including our scientific research, sustainability projects and new programmes throughout the UK.
