The Charity
GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857. It provides free and confidential welfare support to anyone working in the grocery industry, from the first day of their employment. More than 350 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 44,000 people in the last twelve months alone. The charity raises funds through a highly respected yearly events calendar and the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in Grocery programme.
D&I in Grocery Programme
The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme truly created for the industry by the industry. With over 90 FMCG partners, it is the largest collaboration of FMCG brands, working towards the common goal to accelerate a truly diverse and inclusive grocery industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:
- A 12-month cross-industry mentoring programme which provides equity and opportunity to historically underrepresented communities
- Shared learning resources within The Partner Hub including podcasts, monthly learning labs and cross industry ERG Forums
- D&I in Grocery Live! unites the industry once a year, at the largest D&I event in the grocery sector
- Tracks tangible progress annually through the new D&I in Grocery Maturity Model
- Connects partners on different topics to share and learn from each other to accelerate their journey
Main purpose of the role
As a senior member of the D&I in Grocery team, you will play an integral part in managing partners and supporting them through their D&I journey. Lead on the Mentoring workstream and manage D&I in Grocery’s first ever Maturity Model. The role suits someone with outstanding stakeholder management skills and excellent project management capabilities. The role requires the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and be flexible in approach to changing responsibilities across workstreams due to the nature of the D&I landscape and fast spaced industry.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Ownership of partner accounts. Building top quality relationships to achieve maximum engagement and support partners with their D&I journey. Ensuring retention year on year
- Lead on the Mentoring workstream with the support of the Mentoring Steering Group
- Lead on the future development of the Maturity Model with the support of the Maturity Model Subgroup and Head of D&I
- Be an advocate of the programme, a supportive team member and champion GroceryAid values
Relationship Management
- Build relationships and manage high profile partner accounts, across three touchpoints a year to support them on their D&I journey. Discussing maturity model results, gaining insight, and ensuring partners are utilising all aspects of the programme and encouraging connections to accelerate change.
- Utilising relationships to create leads for hosting webinars, sharing content, and joining steering groups
- Support the Senior Relationship Manager to deliver three virtual Partner Session events a year
- Achieve revenue targets across retention and acquisition
Mentoring Programme
- Lead on the delivery of the Mentoring workstream and gain feedback for future improvements
- Manage the Mentoring Steering Group, working with them to deliver on the programme’s vision, deliver virtual onboarding events, in person mentee networking events and cohort graduations
- Successfully match over 220+ mentees and 220+ mentors and support candidates on their journey
- Capture the diversity of each year’s cohort and analyse the data for review and to set future key performance indicators (KPIs)
Maturity Model
- Lead on future developments of the model with the Maturity Model subgroup
- With the support of the project co-ordinator manage the model and run analytics as and when needed
- Lead on the yearly completion window cycle to ensure a high completion rate across the partnership, guidance to partners, report delivery and industry score generation
Project Management
- Responsible for end-to-end project and event delivery, on time, in scope, to budget and highlighting risks
- Ownership of project governance with steering / subgroups, through creating agendas, accurate minutes, proposals, and yearly roadmap. Succession planning for Chair and Deputy Chair rotations every two years
- Track and achieve KPI’s across the programme scorecard
- Responsible for ensuring all stakeholders internally and externally are brought on the journey
- Manage platforms and contracted suppliers to deliver to a high standard
- Drive innovation and identify new revenue streams to support the GroceryAid Welfare offer
- Work with marketing team on communication plans to build awareness and Relationship Management team to achieve KPI’s
- Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with key contacts and information, providing regular reports and analysis

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop and manage new partnerships with youth agencies and organisations to enhance opportunities for education programmes and clubs and grow our community
- Build on and maintain existing strategic partnerships to better enable our work to prevent drowning and help everyone to enjoy water safely
- Lead on partnership strategies and agreements with a view to amplifying messaging of both organisations
- Be integral to the development of a long-term partnership strategy

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising Department for a 3 year fixed term contract. The role sits within an 11 person Corporate Fundraising team, which has an overall target of £3.5m.
It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037. Partnerships and support from our corporate partners are a key part of making this vision a reality.
The Partnerships Manager will primarily be responsible for managing a new and exciting multi-year strategic partnership. This new partnership will be the largest multi-year partnership in Centrepoint’s corporate portfolio and will be transformational for Centrepoint and the young people we work with.
Working between our offices as well as our corporate partner’s office (an hour from London by train), to fully integrate yourself with the organisation, you will be the account manager and main point of contact leading on the successful delivery of all aspects of the partnership. This will include building upon existing plans and relationships and implementing new strategies to achieve targets and objectives for the partnership.
You will be an ambitious and driven account manager with extensive experience at a 6 figure plus level high profile strategic partnerships. Experience managing complex partnerships, ideally with a marketing or consumer-facing element, is beneficial. The Finance Manager of Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board is responsible for the success of the organisation with responsibility in particular for:

Main Duties
1. Set and control the organisation’s budgets, financial procedures and accounting system in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer. Manage and report on the budgets which include a multitude of funders.

The digital team at Breast Cancer Now are leading a transformation in how we present our information and services to people affected by breast cancer. We are looking for a digital project manager who will be responsible for the delivery, tracking and communication associated with a number of key cross orgnanisational projects. About the Role:
The Global Governance & Compliance Manager will lead arrangements for governance and coordinate corporate and legal compliance across the organisation. Working with the trustees and senior leaders as a trusted advisor, you will provide day-to-day coordination and oversight of all governance bodies, meetings and working groups and ensuring efficient information flows between all boards and committees.
About You:
You will have a strong track record of Global Governance, Compliance and best practice across Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe.
You must have:
- Developed and implemented organisation-wide Global Governance Plans in the Not-for -profit sector.
- Organised and facilitated and ensured that good practice is met during executive meetings.
- Worked as a company secretary.
- Been involved in the recruitment and training of trustees, non-executive board members and advisors to the charity in line with the charities ED&I commitment.
- Experience of overseeing all regulatory requirements, legal interactions, regulatory compliance, procurement, insurance and contracts.
- Experience of coordinating necessary regulatory and legal changes to support the development of the organisation including registrations in new countries.
- Delivered a business resilience strategy to ensure the organisation can respond to, manage and recover from disruptive incidents effectively and efficiently.
- Implemented annual training to support the business continuity strategy, plans and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or qualified by demonstrable experience.
- Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance / Risk management.

· Ensuring that the Board, its sub-Committees and the Governors are properly constituted, operated and supported, according to the requirements set out in the Royal Charter and by the Charity Commission.
· Overseeing and periodically reviewing the overall governance framework for the organisation, ensuring it is fit for purpose and provides clearly accountable decision making and oversight.
· Providing advice and information on regulatory, statutory and corporate governance matters, ensuring that the RSC remains compliant and proactively managing new requirements.
· Owning the mechanisms used by the Board and the Executive to identify the key areas of business risk and oversee the regular review of risk as determined by the Risk Management Framework.

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
· Corporate governance and professional Board Secretary experience

· The ability to analyse problems and issues, assess risks and propose creative solutions.
· Significant experience of operating at a senior management level.
· Experience of meetings administration in a complex organisation at either a senior management or non-executive level, including complex agenda preparation, minuting, and progress chasing.
· Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to write reports, policies, and procedure documents.

This is a full time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon but with work across different locations, including London. The hours are 35 per week, with occasional evening and weekend working.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Governance Administrator to provide comprehensive support and ensure effective administration to our client's committees.
In this fundamental role, your main responsibilities will include a variety of organisational, governance and administrative tasks. You will be on hand to respond to queries and arrange necessary inductions and training, ensuring that their policies are maintained and communicated via a variety of mediums such as agendas, balloting and presentations. What’s the role?
As a Governance Officer, you will be able to provide a highly organised and effective governance and administrative service to our internal customers and the Board as well as working collaboratively with other teams in the business and act as the main point of contact for the Governance team.
The right candidate will need to:
- Provide administrative support to our Executive Management Team, Board, Committee and Group entities.
- Maintain registers effectively and coordinate the management of meetings and all aspects required with this (e.g. circulate agendas in advance, booking of catering if required, minute taking, assist with report writing and issue papers accordingly.
- Maintain decision trackers.
- Support the organisation’s annual declaration of interest’s process.

About the role
We are looking for a pro-active forward-thinking individual to join our team and co-lead the Smart Works centre in Reading. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work across a breadth of projects simultaneously and strong leadership skills.
Reporting directly to the Chair of Trustees for Smart Works Reading, the Centre Manager will have responsibility for the operational and day to day management of the centre.
In practice, the role will support the delivery of the Smart Works service to unemployed women living in Berkshire by liaising with our referral partners and booking appointments, whilst also working with the Trustee Board to raise the money needed to fund the work of the charity through various income streams.
Given the breadth of the role, it is essential that the role holder is able to prioritise and delegate effectively.
The role would be based in the Reading centre, and there will be occasional evening and weekend work as the role holder will be expected to attend fundraising and partnerships events. We are looking for someone to start as quickly as possible.
Smart Works Reading is part of Smart Works Charity, and there will be some travel to London and liaison with the HQ team, as well as participation in regular meetings, phone calls and conferences with other Smart Works centres across the UK.

Refugee Biriyani and Bananas (RBB) is a small grassroots organisation that provides humanitarian aid to displaced communities in Greece and worldwide. We are looking for someone with the skills and determination to help grow our charity over the coming years through effective fundraising across various revenue streams.
We are looking to grow from a small to medium-sized charity over the coming years and to scale the humanitarian aid we can provide across multiple locations. RBB is led by founder and CEO Ruhi Akhtar, 5 engaged Trustees, and a small team of staff and volunteers running our programmes.
To achieve this, we are opening this new role in RBB, looking for an experienced, creative and driven Fundraising Manager with a proven track record of income generation for small charities. The individual will lead on all aspects of our revenue growth with a focus on building a pipeline of opportunities and fundraising capacity across the organisation. We expect there to be a focus across all revenue streams including, but not limited to, Trusts and Foundations, Crowdfunding and Individual Donations.
Role Summary
The person in this role will work closely with the CEO to improve and execute on RBB’s new Fundraising Strategy with the aim to generate more income for our objectives. We expect the incoming Fundraising Manager to continue work on improving and defining our strategy and to execute upon it.
To date, RBB’s CEO has split her time across fundraising and project implementation. This role will provide additional capacity to focus on the overall development of the charity, as well as providing specialist expertise. RBB has a strong track record with small grants and public crowdfunding. Our ideal Fundraising Manager has experience across both these areas and can manage these strands. This is the second full-time role taken on by the charity. As such, the selected individual will become a core part of our small but ambitious charity. The right candidate will demonstrate a passion for helping charities grow in size and impact, and ideally have experience in the refugee and migrant sectors. The Fundraising Manager will be expected to represent the charity publicly to donors and the wider third sector.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of charitable/business development more generally, including Impact Measurement, Communications, Strategy and Project Management.
This role is remote. However, we expect the selected candidate to visit the charity’s work in the field – most likely in Greece – during the first few months of work, and work alongside staff and volunteers to better understand the situation on the ground.
