Headway is seeking a new Justice Programme Manager who will expand the current services to have a greater impact on police and probation services, improving knowledge and understanding and the support offenders with brain injuries receive.
We want someone who can both oversee the existing projects, such as our brain injury ID cards, whilst expanding the services in line with our new strategy, due to launch in the summer of 2024.

What will you do:

• Develop and implement a strategy for Headway’s work within the criminal justice system.
• Work with and develop key relationships across, police, probation services to improve knowledge and systems for offenders with brain injuries.
• Develop new justice related projects, including working with Headway’s fundraising team, to generate new income to expand the services.
• Work with the network of local Headway charities, to expand their work, within the justice system.
• Manage and deliver Headway’s justice related training initiatives.
• Oversee the successful delivery of Headway UK’s Brain Injury ID Card, including the line management of the project lead.

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term financial viability of the charity and whilst we have a comprehensive product offer, we welcome innovation. About the team

Shelter’s mature fundraising team has seen continuous year on year growth. The directorate generates over £65m gross income, of which a high percentage is unrestricted, giving us an exceptional level of investment flexibility. This particular role sits within our High Value Partnerships division, which includes Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, Legacies, and Corporate Partnerships fundraising specialists. It will also see you work closely with colleagues in a Retail team that’s responsible for a network of 80 charity shops and boutique stores that are the face of Shelter on the high street.

About the role

An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in corporate fundraising or charity retail, you’ll play a key role in developing Shelter’s retail presence and raising vital funds. You’ll be responsible for enabling stock donations from major retailers, and helping research and develop new relationships with businesses to generate stock and secure their expertise on a pro-bono basis. Standing Voice is looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager based in or near London to join our UK team. Experience – Proven track record of either corporate partnerships/CSR or major donor/philanthropy fundraising, or both. If you are a specialist at income generation in one area and would like to develop skills and experience in the other area, please do apply. You may be in a charity fundraiser role already, or from a different sector with transferable experience of business development or partnerships.

Peer Power Youth has a successful track record of securing income from Trusts and Foundations and earned income through training sales, contracts and consultancy, which has enabled us to achieve individual impact for young people and tangible system change impact for thousands more children and young people.

About the Role

The role of Corporate Development Executive is incredibly varied and there is a real focus on working with the Corporate Development Manager to secure a diverse portfolio of national Partnerships. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of prospects, supporting with major new business opportunities and leading on prospect research projects.

You will work closely with colleagues in the account management team to work on partnership opportunities as well as be a key member of the wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team.

About You

You must have had experience in Corporate Fundraising or in new business in the Corporate sector in either a sales or marketing role. World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.

About World Child Cancer

Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.

World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.

Overview of the role

This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.

You will join a small but ambitious and high performing team that contributes significantly to World Child Cancer’s annual income of c. £2m.

Reporting to: Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships

Location: UK-based hybrid role: Home working for the time being, with the provision for regular meetings in the office. Office attendance encouraged on Mondays (nr Fenchurch Street, London)

Employment type: 28-35 hours per week, with flexible working considered, permanent

Salary: £40,000 FTE per annum

Person Specification

Essential

Educated to degree level or equivalent

A proven track record in corporate and major gift fundraising with evidence of successful solicitation of six figure gifts and multi-year gifts

Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability and confidence to interact with new and existing high value funders

Experience of successfully developing cultivation plans to engage new funders

Ability to research and identify potential new funders

Ability to translate complex, specialist information into accessible and compelling pitches, proposals and reports

Ability to help develop and monitor project budgets

Experience of working on multiple projects at the same time and cross-departmentally

A positive and collaborative team player 

Ability to work on own initiative, prioritising workload with little supervision when needed

Role Description

As Volunteer Programmes Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects in the Decorate A Child's Life (DACL) and Adventure Play Partnership (APP) volunteering programmes. Your role will include  managing the day-to-day operations for Volunteer Programmes, oversight of programme coordination,  reviewing and updating procedures on a rolling basis and keeping good records, including financial monitoring and collecting impact data for regular reporting. This role may at times include attending site visits to scope projects, and leading and supervising groups of volunteers during project installations. 

You will work closely with fundraising colleagues to match partners/corporate volunteer groups to projects, and from time to time you’ll contribute to scoping new opportunities to adapt our offer for potential partnership pitches. Our Corporate Partnerships Manager will be a key colleague, as you’ll work together to plan and organise volunteering opportunities and to plan and implement a high-quality volunteer experience that ultimately helps the charity to secure income generation corporate partnerships. You’ll need to take a lead role in monitoring and reporting on progress, including the expenditure budget for project delivery, the level of delivery and the capturing of feedback from both beneficiaries and volunteers.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining project budgets adn impact reporting 
• When necessary, conducting site visits to family homes and youth/community centres prior to project delivery (this will require travel within London). 
• Updating programme forms, paperwork and records using systems such as JotForm, Salesforce and Microsoft applications. 
• When necessary, managing volunteer groups on project delivery days, including carrying our practical tasks such as painting, furniture building, as necessary
• Contributing to the review and evaluation of volunteer programmes and informing future decision-making
• Producing and maintaining volunteer programme comms materials and Childhood Trust website copy
• Building strong relationships with colleagues across The Childhood Trust

This is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of homebased and office working. This role requires you at time to be working on-site delivering volunteering projects across London.
