We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer within our Platform Service Team. You will have demonstrable experience in a marketing or communications role, as well as experience of dealing with a range of media including maintaining and developing websites. You will also have experience of writing case studies, blogs and other communications and using social platforms to develop communities.
Salary: £31,016 - £35,446 per annum

Location: Oxford / hybrid working (up to full time from home, in line with Picker's remote and home working policy - must be based in the UK)
In this role, you will support the delivery of all internal and external communications activities, the delivery of PR strategies and campaigns to increase Picker's media profile and broader communication and organisation brand objectives. You will work to ensure the consistency and quality of all external communications and to disseminate the organisation's evaluation/improvement activity, research outputs and policy messages, via our website, newsletter and social channels.
This role
In this role, you will:
- Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in developing the organisation's communications strategy
- Help to implement communications initiatives
- Support the teams with the development and dissemination of effective marketing materials
- Provide editorial support and copywriting expertise to other teams so that accurate copy is produced in line with brand image and protocols
- Work collaboratively with other teams, creating strong links between other programmes and projects to ensure the successful implementation of marketing and communication campaigns
- To support the production of written content such as blogs and case studies
- Work with our PR consultant to distribute press releases and external content
- Monitor the media and wide external environment to identify opportunities for Picker to raise its media profile
- Support and implement a variety of internal communications to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Responsible for the day to day maintenance and ongoing development of the website
- Coordinate all social media activity
- Develop ideas for our social content to increase its appeal
- Monitor SEO rankings, optimise content and improve website performance
About You
You will have:

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with an inspirational charity, in the recruitment for an Interim Head of Health Services. This position is offered as a six-month contract (with the opportunity of extending), full-time or part-time opportunity, with remote work available in which you can be based anywhere within the UK. As the Interim Head of Health Services, your role will entail collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the appropriate delivery of services, adherence / compliance to contracts within England's relevant services, and assistance in the transition of services to new providers. During a period of transition and retrenchment as the charity refines its areas of delivery, your role will involve providing leadership, direction, and motivation to various services. To excel in this position, you should have a proven track record in leading, managing, and inspiring both staff and volunteers across diverse service delivery areas. Your experience should encompass effectively managing services, involving service users in their development, and establishing partnerships while negotiating contract terms. You should be skilled of using project management skills to maintain transparency and accountability of work projects. Proficiency in budget management across various portfolios to ensure adherence to financial allocations is essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and sensitivity to the diverse needs of stakeholders. Your skill set should include the ability to foster relationships conducive to transitioning contracts to new work providers and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery process. You should have experience of building internal relationships with corporate services to facilitate the best outcomes for staff, volunteers, and service users. Knowledge of public sector commissioning within the UK is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser, to lead on Neuroscience related fundraising for the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences as part of the friendly team working across the Medical Sciences Division at the University of Oxford.
The Medical Sciences Division at Oxford has been ranked number one in the world for the last twelve years in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences. Recent accomplishments of the Medical Sciences Division include its research into the COVID-19 pandemic, most notably through the delivery of the Oxford–AstraZeneca vaccine, which is estimated to have saved over 6 million lives.
About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. The post will focus primarily on funding for research, academic posts, scholarships and infrastructure related to Neuroscience which includes Mental Health and neurological disease (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Epilepsy). The fundraiser will work on special projects including the possible major capital redevelopment of the Warneford site. While an interest in medical research and neuroscience is essential, you do not need to be a sciences graduate, just an enthusiast for knowledge.

You are an experienced development professional with a strong track record of securing major gifts, a confident approach and the ability to think creatively. You will lead on major gift fundraising (£100k-£1m+) working with a range of donors (corporates, trusts and individuals).

About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team. Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. As an Ambassador for Mind BLMK, you will need to have a passion for mental health and an ability to operate at all levels.

Key Duties

- Send donors bespoke information and materials to support their fundraising at Mind BLMK.

- Support existing and develop new partnerships with corporates, organisations, and individuals, to support income growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with philanthropists and encourage legacy giving.
- Help with the co-ordination of fundraising volunteers, as requested or as appropriate.
- Help to identify and develop potential areas of fundraising growth and process improvements, in line with the Fundraising Strategy and supporting net income growth.
- Write and send outgoing thank you letters to all income streams.
- Help maintain an up-to-date and accurate supporter database, finance log and fundraising and communications materials.
- Support the implementation of marketing strategies and targeted campaigns; plan, develop, and ensure the production of multi-media communications, PR, and marketing materials and compelling stories.
