About the Role
Do you have a creative flair and a passion for collaboration? We’re looking for someone to help shape and deliver a public engagement and events programme that showcases Headway East London’s occupational projects in art, food and music, strengthens partnerships, and raises awareness of brain injury.
The role is to work closely with our members, you will co-produce events, workshops and creative projects that highlight their experiences and talents. Also, nurture and develop relationships with partners and stakeholders, identify new opportunities for collaboration and ensure members are meaningfully involved in all aspects of engagement.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Public Engagement Programme Delivery
- Support the delivery of a public engagement programme that raises awareness of brain injury and showcase our creative work in art, food, and music.
- Work closely with the Director of Development and staff teams to identify and develop opportunities for public engagement (e.g. exhibitions, performances, and community events).
Member Co-production and Creative Participation
- Work closely with members to support their participation in projects and events, ensuring their voices and experiences contribute to the planning and delivery.
- Support in facilitating steering groups or member planning sessions to shape ideas and gather feedback for improvements.
Partnerships and External Relationships
- Support in building and maintaining positive relationships with local organisations, cultural venues, and community partners to broaden our reach and profile.
- Represent Headway East London at events, meetings and community forums, acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation and its members.
Event, Operations and Delivery
- Support all logistical aspects of events, including venue booking, liaising with suppliers, organising materials, and coordinating volunteers.
- Contribute to event promotion and audience engagement, including managing guest lists, ticketing, and attendee communications.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
- Support the collection of feedback, stories, and data from events and projects to evaluate their success and impact.
- Support with monitoring and reporting processes that inform fundraising, communications, and project planning.

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is seeking a Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead our major gift fundraising programme, securing transformational support for our mission to protect the UK’s oceans, beaches, and marine wildlife. This is a pivotal role within our fundraising team, with responsibility for major donors alongside Trust & Foundation and corporate fundraising.

As an Individual Giving Manager, your role will have overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the Individual Giving strategy. You will use proven fundraising techniques across print and digital to grow and diversify our programme, engaging with both new and existing audiences to support our work with children with brain injury and neurodisability.

The Individual Giving team are a small and ambitious team who sit within Public Fundraising and form part of a wider Fundraising and Communications directorate. The team is responsible for generating around £1m in income a year, through recruiting new donors and building relationships with existing donors, including legacies and mid value supporters. We have ambitious plans for growth and, as part of a supporter marketing remit, are developing more holistic relationships with our supporter base.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Campaign project management:
- Plan, manage and deliver innovative and impactful supporter campaigns across a range of channels, including donor development, supporter acquisition and prize led fundraising activities.
- Support the Senior Individual Giving Manager in the setting of budgets and achieve income targets outlined in annual plans.
- Produce, take ownership of and implement medium to long-term product strategies for elements of the development and/or acquisition programmes – delivering all associated campaign activities, assessing the performance of each product against response and income targets, and managing these on an ongoing basis in order to meet or exceed targets.
- Produce clear and succinct briefs to agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Use marketing judgement to proof, edit and develop compelling creative, and make sound decisions on proposals and testing plans.
- Work closely with the Data Manager, as well as Supporter Care, Communications, Events and Partnerships Fundraising to successfully deliver campaigns and evaluations.
- Continually test and learn across campaigns to improve performance, consistently looking to improve ROI and lifetime value across the programme.
- Manage contract and campaign agreements with external agencies, ensuring activities are delivered in a compliant way, adhering to GDPR and fundraising regulation including the Code of Fundraising Practice.
Management of supporter journeys:
- Develop effective welcome and supporter journeys, to help minimise attrition and increase the average lifetime value of donors.
- Ensure that new supporters are thanked and welcomed appropriately, with an emphasis on testing early-stage engagement.
- Support the creation and testing of an integrated supporter journey programme that is segment and channel based, in collaboration with colleagues across the wider Fundraising department.
Reporting and analysis:
- Closely monitor campaign results and provide updates on performance.
- Produce post-campaign analysis reports.
- Work with the Data Manager to develop and update existing reporting mechanisms.
- Make recommendations to improve the performance of future campaigns based on evidence and data.
Legacy marketing and administration:
- Develop and implement legacy marketing plans utilising channels including direct marketing, digital and events.
- Liaise with the wider Public Fundraising team to brief speakers and identify new speakers or ‘Legacy Ambassadors’ to help promote legacy fundraising at key events.
- Build one to one relationships with potential legacy donors, including taking them on tours of The Children’s Trust to showcase our service provision.
- Management of legacy administration including liaison with solicitors, executors, other charities (who are benefitting from the same estate) and family members.
Mid value programme:
- Work with Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement the mid value donor fundraising strategy.
- Build and steward relationships with our mid value donors, developing relationships which inspire donors and supports them towards making significant gifts to The Children’s Trust and encourages long-term support.
- Identify and develop mid value prospects, as well as potential major donor prospects from within the mid value cohort for stewardship by the Philanthropy team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to build appropriate supporter journeys for mid value prospects and donors.
- Consider innovative ways of engaging mid value donors and prospects, such as targeted communications and events.
Developing insight, product development, competitor analysis and industry perspective:
- Use existing research and insight, and where appropriate, undertake and commission new projects to derive new / further insight and analysis.
- Identify, research and develop new products, creative ideas and fundraising initiatives.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and act upon direct and digital marketing trends and statistics.

Role Overview
This is an exciting and pivotal role for an experienced research and project lead. As Research Lead for the Corporate Performance Programme, you will have oversight of all aspects of research relating to three of Global Canopy’s flagship projects: Forest 500 (including Floresta 250), Forest IQ and DEFT Pathway as well as associated Guidance. You will be part of an effective team in a fast-growing and dynamic non-profit delivering on complex and impactful projects around the world.
You will manage a team of researchers, building on the strong and collaborative atmosphere already in place. You will have a vital role across the organisation with visibility of other research projects too, including how they complement each other and interact, and work with other experts such as those from communications or Human Rights.
The Research Lead contributes to strategy developments and innovations in our approach and in the data products and tools we provide. You will work with colleagues to help secure funding for the continued impact of our research as the world changes.
You will lead methodology updates in line with the Accountability Framework initiative and in the context of world events relating to forest risk commodities, and interpret methodologies for annual assessment cycles led by the team.
The impact and audience for this data will be a key focus for you. You will distill the resulting data into findings and insights for content creation and publications and will work with colleagues to ensure the data is well understood by media and assessed entities. By speaking and representing Global Canopy at events you will ensure our methodology and data is shared openly and delivers impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Corporate Performance (CP) research team, maintaining accountability for technical quality assurance of our data, process and findings across three of Global Canopy’s flagship projects: Forest 500+ (including Floresta 250), Forest IQ and DEFT Pathway, as well as Deforestation Free-Finance Guidance
- Lead and manage the research team, supporting Research Associates and Researchers to own and succeed in their respective projects and with the workflows they manage
- Build strong teamwork and technical excellence with a focus on impact
- Stay abreast of methodological updates, research methods and best practices across the assessment cycles, based on ongoing NGO alignment and external developments in line with our Theory of Change
- Lead cross-function collaborative team working and communication to ensure a focus on impact in research strategy and delivery, with seamless end-to-end processes up to and including data and content releases
- Strongly contribute to the management and strategy of the CP programme during a pivotal year by driving and developing new innovations
- Contribute to new fundraising proposals that strategically progress research needs and ensure continued funding.
- Deliver commitments to donors and in the CP annual plan related to research and help maintain donor relationships by reporting on Research-led deliverables
- Connect the CP programme with its target audiences and extend impact by engaging with NGOs, working with the Communications team to create public-facing content, and representing Global Canopy externally, particularly on technical elements of the methodology, best practice and findings

Benefits
Salary: £60k full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full-time, fixed-term (24 months), with possibility to extend dependent on funding. We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.
Base: Our office is in Oxford, with flexible home-working arrangements in place. Ability to attend the office fortnightly at minimum would be desirable.

The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages.
You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. You are able to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment, and you bring the organizational skills needed to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. This position reports to the Director of Global Corporate Engagement.
This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in late February and ending in late August. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring, fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more.
- Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
- Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more.
- Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
- Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.

Royal Free Charity, the strategic partner to the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL), is seeking a creative and driven Philanthropy Manager to lead efforts to secure four and five-figure gifts and to ensure donors are stewarded with the best possible experience of the charity to encourage ongoing support.
The Royal Free Charity works to raise funds for enhanced support for patients, vital support for staff, groundbreaking research and innovation, and cutting edge medical equipment. Through the services they provide and the programmes and equipment they fund, the charity aims to make a profound and immediate different to patients’ experience of care at RFL.
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager and working with other colleagues in the philanthropy and campaigns team, the role will be responsible for delivering the best possible experience to some of the charity’s most committed donors through a mixture of bespoke events, personalised communications and recognition opportunities across the charity’s hospital sites. This will include leading and delivering a mid-level giving retention and recruitment strategy for donors giving between £1,000 and £50,000 and looking to identify potential opportunities for uplift in giving.
The Philanthropy Manager will play an important role building relationships and increasing income in what will be a pivotal year for the charity as they prepare for a multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital. This is an exciting time to join the organisation, with significant scope for development working as part of a supportive, ambitious and high-performing team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in fundraising and donor development in the charity or culture sector and of working with supporters, customers, clients or the general public, delivering excellent customer service. You will have a background in creating high-quality written documents such as tailored letters, proposals, decks or other materials. You will also possess a positive can-do attitude and approach to work and problem solving, alongside outstanding organisational skills and a passion for relationship-building and working with a diverse range of audiences. Finally, you will have a keen interest in the fundraising sector, with a desire to learn and grow in this role.

Breaking Boundaries Collective: Aims to reduce loneliness and isolation and build stronger relationships across different communities. At the same time, the project will focus on increasing the social mobility of young people from disadvantaged and low socioeconomic backgrounds. This will be achieved by employing 16 Young Facilitators in key leadership roles as well as engaging 160 young people as Changemakers, providing training and development through learning days and Action Learning Sets using external free lancers.
This programme will have an integrated and community-focused approach, alongside the development of Young Facilitators to lead the project. Breaking Boundaries Collective will build on Aston-Mansfield's existing work and create a safer, happier, and more connected Newham for young people and the wider community.

As the Youth Programmes Manager, you will lead Aston-Mansfield’s Young Adult Programmes for individuals aged 16–25 in Newham and surrounding boroughs. You will oversee the delivery of funded programmes, develop new initiatives, and ensure high-quality workshops, training, and mentoring. As their very first Head of Fundraising and Partnerships, you will spearhead their strategy to generate the income necessary for maintaining their success and expanding their reach across London. They require an accomplished fundraiser with a proven background in implementing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, securing corporate sponsorships, and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, grant holders, and trustees. You will be working closely alongside their CEO, who has been actively leading the fundraising efforts until now.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
