About this role: This is an exciting opportunity to join Rotherham United Community Trust’s Executive Team and lead the ‘Strengthen and Grow’ theme within the Trust’s United for Change strategy. The Director of Development will drive sustainable growth by strengthening programmes, increasing income, developing strategic partnerships and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Programmes and Interventions
- Support department leads and ensure effective delivery of national/regional and local programmes.
- Oversee programme monitoring and evaluation systems.

- Develop a business plan with KPIs for year-on-year income growth.
- Innovate and refine fundraising approaches (donors, foundations, corporates, digital).
- Design and market income-generating products/programmes.
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing partners including businesses and charities.
3. Operational Management
- Manage financial and physical resources, including budgeting.
- Deliver services that generate income.
- Report to the Trust Board and attend and present at Board/sub-committee meetings.

- With reference to the Capability Code of Practice, lead the design and delivery of a continuous improvement plan for internal operations.
- Introduce systems and tools to improve efficiency, staff experience, and service delivery.

The Major Giving team is made up of corporate partnerships, philanthropy and trusts and raises £6 million a year from our partners, funders and donors. It is part of the Income Generation directorate, which includes Individual Giving, Organisational Insight and Supporter Relations.
Working closely with all areas of the organisation, we match high-net-worth individuals, funders and partners to our projects and campaigns and motivate them to give significant gifts to Friends of the Earth.
The Major Giving team is ambitious, well-established, dynamic, and collaborative, with each income stream working closely on projects, events and proposals to ensure donors are stewarded in the most effective ways.

Earthwatch is recruiting a temporary Project Manager for twelve months within our Programmes team. This role requires a driven and well-organised individual to plan and deliver projects with a focus on urban nature, early career scientist engagement and community engagement activities.

Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.
This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.
The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.
A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.
The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.
Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.
The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. The successful candidate will add senior capacity at an important stage of growth, helping to turn external interest and opportunity into delivery and lasting impact.

Day-to-day you can expect to:
- Develop and secure commissioning, contract and funding opportunities across Greater Manchester.
- Build strong relationships with NHS, Local Authority, VCSE, corporate and community partners.
- Lead and support bids, tenders and partnership proposals from opportunity through to submission.
- Represent Henshaws across Greater Manchester networks, forums and partnership groups.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities, helping to generate sustainable income and long-term impact.

- Experience in business development, sales, partnerships or income generation, in a relevant space.

About the Role

- Experience working towards income targets and managing fundraising opportunities
- Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills
- Experience organising events, campaigns or supporter-led fundraising activities
- A positive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of corporate partnerships, charity fundraising compliance, CRM systems or working within a small charity environment would be beneficial.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The Head of Commercial Partnerships is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and delivering Jericho's corporate engagement and partnership strategy.
