The new business element will support the Senior Partnerships Manager and the Head of Corporate in their new strategy for increased brand, strategic and coty partnerships.
Key responsibilities:
- Account manage and build strong relationships with corporate partners at a 5-figure+ level

The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join at an incredibly exciting time for the charity and corporate partnerships programme. Sitting on the Fundraising SLT and leading the team of four, the Head of Corporate will bring a new business lens to the portfolio, driving new brand and commercial, strategic and charity of the year partnerships. The role will also oversee a Department of Health funded programme to bring pregnancy information to SMEs.
Personally leading on and supporting the Senior Partnerships Manager in developing new business will be a key element of the role, including building propositions around key campaign moments. Additionally, the Head of Corporate Partnerships will work closely with the Deputy Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop a longer-term strategy to be in a position to win the large-scale transformational partnerships. Overseeing the existing portfolio, managed by a Partnerships Manager, will also be crucial; there are a number of upcoming renewals and opportunities for growth.

Your new role

Since 2003, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, Hand in Hand International helped more than 4 million women launch small businesses that can stand the test of time. They work with women because of the unique barriers they face, and because when those barriers are broken, whole families and communities win.
This role is offered on a full-time maternity cover contract basis paying a salary between £45,000 to £54,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.
Reporting directly to Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the primary objective of the post holder is to manage existing grants and accounts, as well as secure new funding for Hand in Hand International. The role’s key focus will be identifying, creating relationships with and securing donations from corporate and family Trusts and Foundations and/or major donors. The role is highly international, working with colleagues across Afghanistan, Kenya and Tanzania, and a prospect base spread across globe. The post holder may be required to travel.

They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience to engage senior-level donors through calls, meetings, and events to provide updates on project advancements and identify additional donation opportunities. The ideal candidate should understand international development, women's economic empowerment and/or regenerative agriculture.

About the Role
The role of Corporate Development Executive is incredibly varied and there is a real focus on working with the Corporate Development Manager to secure a diverse portfolio of national Partnerships. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of prospects, supporting with major new business opportunities and leading on prospect research projects.
You will work closely with colleagues in the account management team to work on partnership opportunities as well as be a key member of the wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team.
About You
You must have had experience in Corporate Fundraising or in new business in the Corporate sector in either a sales or marketing role. You must be a passionate driven, individual who is able to demonstrate a good track record of working towards targets and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
This role is a hybrid role with one day a week required to work in the Charities Head Office in Aldgate, London.
