The role

Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Lead, you will play a key role in:

• Supporting the delivery and growth of corporate partnerships and community fundraising campaigns
• Coordinating supporter engagement activity, events, and stewardship journeys
• Helping to develop and manage relationships with corporate partners, fundraisers, volunteers, and pro bono supporters
• Supporting pipeline development across UK and international markets, including the US
• Coordinating volunteering and workplace giving activity across the organisation

Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser  

Up to £31,000 per annum + excellent benefits

About the role: 

We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals. 

Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team driving Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking and stewardship. You will be responsible for the stewardship of varied corporate accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent account management. Some accounts raising six figure sums. 

You will work collaboratively towards a ‘one team one target’ approach across the Fundraising and Engagement department and ensure that the use of technology is maximized and all processes are subject to continuous improvement.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to grow this vital area of income. Help tackle loneliness among older people in care homes

Thousands of older people living in care homes receive few or no visitors. Friends for Life Bedfordshire exists to change that.

Through our befriending and group activities, we bring companionship, connection and meaningful relationships to care home residents across Bedford and the surrounding area.

About Friends for Life Bedfordshire

We are a Bedford-based charity working to address the social isolation of older residents in Bedfordshire’s care homes.

Founded in 2007, we have grown from a small local initiative to a registered charity with c90 volunteers supporting more than 30 care homes across Bedford Borough. In the last year, over 1,100 care home residents received our services.

The Role

This is a pivotal role for the charity. It is key to the delivery of our business plan and growth aspirations.

You will take ownership of fundraising and income generation, ensuring we have the resources to sustain and grow our impact.

You will lead on grant fundraising whilst also developing community and individual giving, and delivering engaging fundraising events.

This is a hands-on role in a small organisation, so you will have real ownership and visibility. You will shape our fundraising strategy and directly influence how many residents we can reach.

In the coming year we have secured grant and other income covering two thirds of our planned expenditure of £340,000 and we need to fundraise for the remainder. We want to grow our income in future years in order to expand our much-needed services, particularly by nurturing and growing the support of local businesses, schools and community groups. We also see great potential to increase support from individuals and major donors across the borough of Richmond, given we support so many young people and families in the area every year.

As this role involves engaging local community groups, businesses and volunteers in our mission to support local young people, it is particularly suited to someone who lives and/or has worked in the London borough of Richmond. As Fundraiser, you will be responsible for all fundraising applications and will also lead on building strong relationships with grant givers and with Off The Record Twickenham’s local community, developing partnerships with businesses, community groups, and individual supporters.

This is a full-time role reporting to the Manager, combining both home and office-based working, with local travel. Occasional evening and weekend work also required. The salary is up to £40,000p.a. depending on experience.
