Job description

Fantastic opportunity to work within a fun, engaging and highly motivated Fundraising Team.  Based in Runcorn, Cheshire,  we have a vacancy for a part time Fundraiser.  The job holder will need to be able to work flexibly, be mobile and have experience of networking and active engagement within their local community, supporting events and running fundraising initiatives.

Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a confident communicator with great team spirit and a flair for marketing, fundraising and engagement.

Halton Haven Hospice provides palliative care to the community across Widnes, Runcorn and surrounding areas, as well as comprehensive support for the families of patients. The Hospice aims to relieve the symptoms and improve quality of life in anybody that has a life limiting illness. Our vision is that people in Halton, facing life limiting illness, will have quality of life and dignity in death. Our mission is to care for people living with life-limiting illness by providing safe end of life care and support and, also to support their families. We will lead and inspire excellent care wherever people chose to die

To be successful in this role you will be honest, full of passion and confident in yourself and also in our cause. You will be creative and constantly willing to learn about new ways of connecting with people, asking what you need and why?  Able to paint a picture through positive 'story telling' but be able to prepare and present a commercially astute business case.  Strong IT skills with a focus setting goals and achieving results.

If you are a 'go-getter' and feel you are up to this exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you.

We want to hear from all interested candidates, and to be considered for the position we strongly recommend submitting a detailed covering letter along with your CV, outlining why you're right for the role.
