THE ROLE
As our new Fundraising Officer, you'll be joining OSCAR's Charity at a pivotal time in our growth. This isn't a rigid, box-ticking role – it's an opportunity to shape your own fundraising legacy. You'll have the freedom to be creative, take ownership, and implement bold ideas whilst working within our established charitable framework. You’ll have financial targets to meet, and the backing of the whole team to help you achieve them.
Your time will be split across three closely-linked key areas:
Corporate Partnerships (35%)

- Supporting our Charity Manager to get partnerships over the line
- Preparing compelling materials and presentations

Community Fundraising (30%)
- Building school partnerships

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven fundraising experience

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.

The Role
As Head of Individual Giving & Supporter Engagement, you’ll lead the strategic development and delivery of SOS’s public fundraising portfolio – inspiring individuals around the world to take action and give generously for the future of Sumatra’s rainforests and wildlife.

About this role
Over the past two years, SPANA has made significant investments in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), culminating in the establishment of an independent MEAL team within the Global Programmes Directorate. Led by the Head of Data Insight and MEAL, this team works collaboratively with the Programme Quality and Development, Animal Health and Welfare and Education, Community Education and SBCC teams to strengthen evidence-based programming and impact measurement.
The MEAL Manager plays a central role in advancing SPANA’s MEAL systems, providing technical expertise and support to SPANA UK staff and over 20 global partners. The role contributes to the design and implementation of MEAL frameworks that effectively measure the organisation’s impact on the health and welfare of working animals. Contract, location and salary
This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. This role is UK based, hybrid working with regular attendance (approximately 1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.

Job Purpose
The role of the central charity is to facilitate member support and the successful operation of the charity, lead strategic projects that work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the global movement and to support the delivery of impactful work in communities that meet our aims.
Like many membership organisations, we need to focus on turning membership decline into membership growth. This role evolved from and is an integral part of the “Reimagining MU” project, where we looked at opportunities to secure the future of the movement.
The post holder will work directly with members and across the charity leading campaigns and programmes that help and support the communities in which we serve, drive membership growth, increase valued engagement and income opportunities, promote Mothers’ Union within the Anglican Church, and build effective relationships with external partners and organisations.
This role will lead the implementation of a suite of existing and new Britain and Ireland programmes which include domestic abuse, social justice, and family issues. Also, to look at new programmes and to manage continual programme reviews. These Mothers’ Union National Programmes are being adopted as best practice frameworks for successful community outreach projects by members in the communities in which we serve. It is envisioned that in resourcing and standardising existing work, these robust programmes will serve as vehicles for volunteer and member recruitment in dioceses in Britain and Ireland and be able to secure strategic partners and external funders to support our work.
Main responsibilities
Programme Development, Implementation and Review – Britain and Ireland
1. Work with the Director of Membership on the continued development, implementation and review of a member-informed national suite of Mothers’ Union programmes.
2. Research, review and develop new member resources, packs, and policies and manage access.
3. Work with the wider Membership team on the design, implementation, and delivery of new membership growth models.
4. Work with the Communications team on campaigns and programme branding and promotion.
5. Procure and manage relationships with programme strategic partners and funders.
Membership Engagement and Support
1. Manage relevant Communities of Interest (representative membership groups) for the different programmes.
2. Contribute campaign materials, articles, written printed and web content as required.
3. Support the membership by overseeing programme enquiries, and delivering resources, communications, webinars, podcasts, and events as required.
4. Working with the Membership Engagement Manager to ensure membership growth is reflected in the programme frameworks as an intended outcome.
5. Working with the Director of Membership and the wider membership team to deliver annual and regional events and conferences including the Annual Gathering, Provincial meetings, networking, and celebratory events.
General
- To manage existing national programmes; and to successfully framework and resource new MU campaigns and community outreach work into standardised, resourced and branded national programmes that are adopted and utilised by members and attract strategic partners to enhance successful outputs and increased income for the charity.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading anti-trafficking and human rights charity. We are looking for an inclusive, creative, talented facilitator, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to be our Participation Manager.
The Participation Manager will facilitate survivors of trafficking to use their experiences to support the development of ATLEU’s work and services and to improve policy and practice across the anti-trafficking and legal advice sectors. Working with group members, this individual will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the group (The Changemakers) and the remit of ATLEU’s participation work from January 2026 when the current projects come to a close, ensuring new members are inducted and supported to engage and lead in future projects. The overall aim of the participation and activism work is to integrate survivors at all levels within ATLEU, as well as creating a project that offers different levels of engagement, depending on the interests and capacity of individual group members.
The Participation Manager is a key member of the Rise and Lead project team, which is a groundbreaking new employment pathways project in partnership with Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) and Voice of Domestic Workers for those with experience of human trafficking and migration.
The successful candidate will have direct experience of working with vulnerable individuals, ideally survivors of trafficking, a strong understanding of the challenges survivors face and be committed to shifting power to people with lived experience. They will have a flexible approach and understand what empowerment means in its truest sense, allowing the structure of the work to be led by the needs of the group rather than with a predetermined or fixed idea of what this will look like.

Although just a small team, ATLEU’s work has led to significant changes in law and policy. Since we were established in 2013, we have led the way in ensuring that survivors of trafficking have access to free, independent legal advice by enabling access to legal aid, across the range of issues survivors experience. For example, our litigation against the Legal Aid Agency led to their concession that legal aid provision was insufficient for victims of trafficking and an increase in the number of trafficking compensation cases that legal aid providers were contractually able to assist with each year (from 5 up to 100). Following litigation on behalf of our client LL, the Legal Aid Agency agreed that victims of trafficking were legally entitled to free immigration advice on applying for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of their trafficking experiences and publicised this entitlement.

Salary Band: £31,374 – £37,772 pro rata per year. Starting salary will depend on the level of candidate’s experience

2. Develop and maintain positive relationships across ATLEU’s team staying up to date with different areas of organisational work in order to create opportunities for collaboration and coproduction with the Changemakers, finding flexible and creative ways to integrate new opportunities into the annual plan.

3. Recruit and induct people with lived experience of trafficking to be active participants in the Changemakers.
4. To facilitate meetings of the Changemakers ensuring activities are accessible and inclusive for all participants.
5. To secure opportunities for skills and knowledge development through internal and external training.
6. Conduct needs assessments to identify safeguarding, support needs and development goals and provide practical and emotional support where required.
7. Nurturing the wellbeing and solidarity of the group, providing individual pastoral support, coordinating reflective practice sessions and group activities.
8. Review, adapt, and agree terms of reference and foundational values with the group.
9. To manage the annual lived experience budget.
Building the power of survivors within ATLEU
10. To be an effective liaison between the group and the Director, trustees and wider staff team.
11. Understanding how ATLEU works as an organisation and its key activities and facilitating regular communication between Changemakers and ATLEU’s people.
12. Create opportunities for collaboration, co-creation and leadership for ATLEU’s Changemakers members.
13. Identifying potential opportunities for Changemakers to take on paid roles within the organisation, defining the scope of the role, recruitment/ selection of individuals for the roles, and supporting individuals to gain experience of working independently (eg. peer research training development, training delivery).
14. To take a creative and flexible approach to working with the group, to understand their priorities and goals and find ways to steer and adapt their ideas so that they can be delivered within an organisational context.
15. Work with ATLEU’s Director, Head of Operations and People and Inclusion Manager to create pathways for people with lived experience of trafficking to participate in ATLEU’s governance and decision-making, including at trustee board level and development of funding proposals.
16. Support the delivery of ATLEU’s Rise and Lead Fellowship project helping to create an employment pathway for people with lived experience of human trafficking and migration in the advice and anti-trafficking sector.
17. Support the Rise and Lead Project Manager with the development of a bespoke inclusive recruitment programme and the delivery of the training fellowship, and the project monitoring and evaluation and dissemination of learning.
Coproduction with the Changemakers

The Role
The objectives of the Communications and Campaigns team are to increase the public profiles of Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, mobilise public support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charities.
A natural storyteller, you will have a talent for creating shortform video content that engages key audiences across our social media platforms. By generating ideas and making them happen, sourcing contributors, shooting and editing footage, you will monitor the performance of posts and proactively incorporate best practice to ensure that content is well received by audiences, and that the charities’ presence on its social media channels grows.
You will regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, the other founding charities and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.
Main duties include:
- Creating shortform video content
- Project manage the production of video content for social media campaigns
- Ensure that the charity showcases its advice, information, programmes and services through shortform content.
- Champion and promote the brands, including their tone of voice, in our creative content.
- Working with the Social Media Manager, plan for and produces engaging content for relevant awareness events, including Mental Health Awareness Week in May and World Mental Health Day in October.
- Analyse the performance of video content
- Help the team keep up with social media trends, spotting opportunities
About You
A content creator and social media expert you will have experience of planning, shooting and editing footage to engage audiences across different social media platforms and of using creative design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro - essential). With an eye for detail, you will use your project management skills to analyse the performance of social media content, refining and improving content through iteration.
You will also have experience of:
- Writing and editing copy to suit different audiences and providing updates and briefings at meetings.
- Being a brand guardian and supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.
- Planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across multiple social media channels, while optimising content by channel and audience.

About the role
This is a creative and purpose-driven role at the heart of our charity’s communications. As Senior Communications Officer, you’ll help us tell powerful stories, share our impact, and build connections with our members, supporters and partners.
