About this key role
Our successful candidate will lead the day-to-day service delivery of trauma-informed, co-produced, and developmentally appropriate interventions for children and young adults. This will include maintaining strong local partnerships and representing the service in external meetings and forums, acting as safeguarding lead and promoting a proactive safeguarding culture across the team, plus providing line management, supervision, and coaching to up to eight service delivery practitioners.
We will also count on you to drive performance against KPIs, outcomes, and quality standards using data to inform service improvements and to ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection policies, and reporting obligations including ISAs and DPIAs. Supporting the implementation of service reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives and the recruitment, induction, and training for staff are both also key duties, as is contributing to continuous service improvement through reflective practice and feedback.

About the Role
As Media Lead you will be responsible for running the charity's busy press office and you will play a central role in shaping how Victim Support is seen and heard in the media. You'll write and deliver a strategic Media Plan that positions the charity as a trusted and recognised victims' voice, increases the profile of our services and contributes to influencing positive change.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage media enquiries, build trusted relationships with journalists and ensure our spokespeople are briefed and supported for interviews. You'll work closely with colleagues across external affairs, social media and frontline services, and provide expert media advice to senior leaders. You'll also line manage our Stories Officer and oversee our Stories Library, giving a platform to victims' voices and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and run the Victim Support's press office.
- Provide quotes and comments to the media, and secure and manage interviews with VS spokespeople.

- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers.

About the role
In this role, you'll play a key part in upskilling practitioners who support victims and witnesses of crime, helping them develop the soft skills needed to make a meaningful impact. Providence Row works with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice and progression programmes. Deliver support to people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping in the borough of Tower Hamlets.

Conduct person-centred assessments with individuals who self-present at the service for support.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
We build demand and interest in evidence across the Children’s Services sector
This will include:
- Running events, speaking at conferences and curating webinars to bring evidence to life for practitioners
- We have great relationships with the people who can make change happen.
This will include:
- Developing great relationships with senior policy makers, sector leaders and experts, including representing YEF in external meetings and speaking at events.
- Managing a Strategic Advisory Board of leading experts across the children’s services sector and keep members onside and excited about our work.
We deliver our children’s services system recommendations.
This will include:
- Helping to identify the right recommendations at a system level (such as changes in policy, regulation, inspection, funding, or guidance) that make it more likely highly vulnerable children get access to the right support at the right time.
- Work out the best way to make our system recommendations happen (due for publication in December 2026) and then do it – persuading the key people to make changes that make a difference.
- Tracking progress carefully, being thoughtful and creative about when and how to change the plan.
We work out the most effective ways to connect people with the evidence, then make those things happen.
This will include:
- Helping children’s services leaders change how they plan or provide services to better protect children from violence, based on the YEF Children’s Services Practice Guidance – due for publication in May 2026.
- Creating a plan to get people to follow our guidance, using what we know about how they think and behave.
- Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action
- Continuously testing and improving our approach to get better results.

You’ve worked at a senior level in or with children’s services - especially local authority children's services, commissioning and/or children's social care policy, and you understand how to navigate and influence within these complex systems.
- Firsthand knowledge of the system that supports highly vulnerable children, particularly those at risk of or involved in violence. You understand the barriers these children face and what it takes to get them the right support.

Hybrid Working Details

Role Overview
Glitch is looking for an Advocacy and Communications Manager to help support the charity's work — ensuring technology does not further or replicate discrimination towards Black women and gender-expansive people. This position offers the opportunity to lead on UK tech policy developing and promoting our Black feminist approach to key UK legislation through advocacy and communications to relevant audiences and stakeholders.
Specifically, you will lead on our tech-facilitated gender-based violence issue area, working on the Online Safety Act and engaging with relevant government ministers and parliamentarians, as well as our online violence against women coalition partners, and the Online Safety Act Network. This role blends elements to advocacy and pub The position is remote (UK only) and is a one year, fixed-to-permanent role, extension subject to funding.
Ideal Candidate
To be successful at Glitch, the Advocacy & Communications Manager must demonstrate an understanding of and passion for Black feminist thought, and the ability to translate this critical social theory into advocacy and communications work, specifically in pushing towards systemic change with/in: tech policy, digital rights, tech-facilitated gender-based violence and algorithmic injustice.

As the Advocacy and Communications Manager, you will support the team in working towards our mission in several core areas:
Advocacy (50%)

Support the Advocacy Director in the delivery of the Mitigation strand of advocacy work.

Implement all policy work related to tech-facilitated gender-based violence, including but not limited to our intimate image abuse work, non-criminal redress, and automated content moderation.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including Ofcom and UK regulatory bodies, our network engagements, civil society, and others, attending meetings as determined by the Advocacy Director.

Draft agendas for coalition meetings, taking minutes and actions, building and mobilising our partnership network around submissions, PMQs and other key parliamentary processes.

Undertake regular policy and media monitoring and share updates and intel

Support on the drafting of all external policy requests (briefings, statements, joint letters).

Purpose
The Case Manager will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk at MARAC to pro- actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with existing agencies in each pilot site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Throughout the intervention the Case Manager will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
The Case Manager will be responsible over the long term for delivering outcomes, to achieve behaviour change with each service user.
Responsibilities
Interagency work
- Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
- Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
- Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.
- Working closely with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
Case management
- Comply with child protection and information sharing policies, ensuring that service users and colleagues understand and comply with the service’s safeguarding framework.
- Manage a case load focusing on high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse to provide an assertive, medium to long term service, based on thorough assessment and individual support planning that adopts the principles of both ‘Support (change) or/and Disrupt (continued offending) concept.
Recording and administration
- Ensure that case files and records are accurate and complete; and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements.
- To enter all the required information into the Drive project electronic case management system to enable tracking of service user change, multi-agency working and risk management.
- Weekly maintenance and accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.
Direct work with service users
- Maintain a proactive response to service users, continuously providing positive options for behaviour change throughout the service users time in the Drive project.
- Use combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of therapeutic skills to engage service users to address their abusive behaviour.
