What does this role do?
As Senior Service Desk Analyst, you’ll:
- monitor and supervise a team of Service Desk Analysts, triaging and assigning tickets, ensuring consistency and supporting the team to deliver a high-quality service across the charity,
- personally manage your own tickets, including high-priority incidents, providing timely escalation of critical issues or ensuring their escalation to third party providers, often acting as the bridge between first and second line and third line teams,
- take part in regular service review meetings with external partners and internal teams, collaborating to ensure customers are supported effectively,
- support with the delivery of on-site support and maintenance, travelling to our rehoming centres and charity shops to resolve incidents and implement upgrades.
Due to the nature of this role, the post holder will be expected to work one weekend in four.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day financial management of Everyone's Invited and to strengthen the financial foundations of our work during a period of growth. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable owning the finances of a small charity - from bookkeeping and payroll through to budgeting, reporting and financial controls. Working closely with the leadership team, the Finance Manager will ensure that financial records are accurate, payments are processed efficiently, and key financial processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Financial management and record-keeping

Main duties and responsibilities
1) Strategic leadership & portfolio growth
· Lead the strategic development of the Improving Rivers portfolio, setting clear objectives and outcomes aligned to Thames21’s plan (2023–2028).

· Translate strategy into actionable delivery plans with measurable targets and milestones.

· Support development of high‑quality bids and funding agreements (statutory, partnership and philanthropic), including large strategic bids and environmental market opportunities by providing technical expertise, programme design and partner engagement.

6) External relations & advocacy

Role Overview:

- Run monthly depreciation, post fixed asset journals and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Process internal and external recharges.
- Review the bank and credit card reconciliations prepared by the Finance Officer and the debtors control account reconciliation prepared by the Credit Controller.
- Check the trial balance against the management accounts and prepare management accounts narratives and variance commentary for review by the Head of Finance.
- Compile and analyse financial data to create accurate and timely reports for management review.

- Support the Credit Controller with receivables adjustments, write-offs and account queries.
- Apply accounting policies in line with relevant accounting standards and ensure they are followed across the organisation, escalating any issues to the Head of Finance.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements under the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
- Support the annual audit, preparing working papers and responding to auditor queries.
- Prepare and submit ONS returns.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
