This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you will lead targeted, multi-channel campaigns while also engaging directly in the sales process to win new business and upsell existing customers.

From building and managing a strong pipeline to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals, you’ll ensure ambitious income targets are achieved and exceeded. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Generation Officer, you will lead a small team and align sales and marketing to maximise impact.

Success in this role will mean surpassing revenue targets, growing our customer base, securing high-value partnerships, delivering campaigns with measurable ROI, and strengthening retention so that existing members and customers remain engaged. In short: you will be at the heart of sustainable growth, with every success directly contributing to transforming education.

Role Overview

What you will be doing 

• Sales growth – Deliver organisational revenue targets by driving new sales and upselling across membership, sponsorship, training, and partnerships, while supporting strong retention.
• Pipeline management – Build, track, and convert a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Sales execution – Lead sales conversations, pitches, and negotiations through to closing deals.
• Campaign delivery – Design and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, outreach, social media, partnerships) that generate leads and conversions.
• Content and messaging – Oversee compelling, sales-focused content and communications that cut through the noise.
• Digital marketing and analytics – Use CRM, SEO/SEM, social media, and analytics to generate leads, track performance, and optimise ROI.
• Team leadership – Line manage the Business Development Officer and Marketing Assistant, setting clear priorities and motivating them to deliver results.
• Collaboration – Work with colleagues across Membership, Development, and Digital to maximise growth opportunities.
• Performance reporting – Report on revenue delivery, pipeline health, and campaign ROI to senior leadership.
• External profile – Represent Learning on Screen at events, conferences, and sector networks to raise visibility and generate sales.

About the Role

Sense is recruiting for a Supporter Services Assistant to join our fantastic Engagement Team in Kings Cross, London on a hybrid basis.  

The successful applicant will play vital part in the Engagement Department and the charity as a whole – it makes sure that supporters have an outstanding experience of supporting Sense and know how much they are valued. Your daily task’s are varied with a mixture of in-and-outbound calling, combined with essential administrative tasks like income processing or capturing important information about Sense’s supporters and their motivations to support the charity.  

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Accurately processing fundraising income, including cheques and cash, vouchers (CAF, KKL) direct debits, payroll giving and from online donation platforms (Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, Facebook) within agreed timescales and in line with provided procedures.
• Create or amend supporter records on Sense’s Raisers Edge database, ensuring that all interactions between charity and supporter etc are recorded accurately and in line with best practice GDPR.
• Identifying opportunities for supporters to further engage with Sense and promoting them as appropriate to help deliver Fundraising department targets (such as sharing a supporter story with our Comms team).
• Work with other fundraising teams to ensure relationships with supporters are managed effectively, both by responding to enquiries promptly and by working to the agreed supporter communications plan. There is also the expectation to attend other teams’ meetings i.e. Community, Events, Philanthropy to understand what activity is happening across the charity. 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a customer or supporter service environment
• Administrative experience in a busy office environment
• Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar Customer Relationship Management database
• Outstanding customer service, an excellent telephone manner and ability to understand team needs to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially when entering data.
• Good working knowledge of MS office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

The Senior Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in the Chief Executive’s Office, working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive and members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the smooth and effective execution of strategic, operational, and governance priorities. Acting as a trusted partner and first point of contact, the Senior Executive Assistant will proactively manage high-level administrative functions, facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagement, and contribute to organisation-wide planning and coordination. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Executive Support

· Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted liaison for the Deputy Chief Executive, managing their calendar, commitments, and priorities with discretion and strategic foresight.

· Proactively coordinate complex diaries, internal and external meetings, and briefings, ensuring effective time management and optimal scheduling across teams and stakeholders.

· Prepare agendas, compile and distribute papers, attend meetings as needed, and record minutes and action points with professionalism and accuracy.

· Manage comprehensive travel arrangements (domestic and international), including bookings, itineraries, visa requirements, and expenses in line with organisational policy.

· Screen incoming correspondence (emails, calls, invitations), handle or redirect enquiries, and ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.

· Provide responsive and high-quality administrative support across the Senior Leadership Team as needed, in coordination with the Executive Support Manager.

Governance, Project and Strategic Support

· Coordinate and manage key organisational meetings including: Monthly Heads meetings across ARUK and Fundraising and Marketing Leadership Team (FMLT) meetings

· Ensure the smooth delivery of these meetings by preparing documentation, recording actions, and driving follow-through with relevant stakeholders.

· Support cross-organisational strategic initiatives, such as ARUK’s Stakeholder Engagement programme and other priority activities led by the Deputy Chief Executive.

· Proactively use ARUK’s CRM system (Salesforce) to support relationship management and strategic engagement by Executive Directors.

· Assist in the planning and delivery of internal communications activities and events that build alignment and engagement across the organisation to include the annual Fundraising and Marketing away day and monthly Fundraising and Marketing meeting.

· Take on discrete projects on behalf of the Deputy Chief Executive

· Work closely with the Executive Support Manager and Head of Governance to support Board and trustee-related activities, including the preparation of papers, coordination of logistics, and accurate record-keeping.

· Help ensure the delivery of effective governance arrangements and contribute to continuous improvement in the support of ARUK’s leadership and oversight functions.

Team and Leadership Contribution

· Act as a senior member of the Executive Support team, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues with guidance, training, and mentoring where appropriate and deputising for the Executive Support Manager where appropriate

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase the efficiency and impact of the Chief Executive’s Office.

· Stay informed of sector developments, best practices in executive support, and opportunities for innovation within the charity’s operations.

What we are looking for:

· Extensive experience providing high-level executive support to senior leaders 

· Discretion, integrity, and sound judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information.

· Experience coordinating meetings, travel, and logistics for senior leaders.

The Fundraising Assistant supports the Regional Community Fundraising Team by providing administrative and fundraising support. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining relationships with supporters, volunteers, and fundraising groups, ensuring excellent stewardship and service. Responsibilities include processing income, managing supporter records, coordinating public collections, and assisting with local fundraising initiatives. The post holder will be the first point of contact for supporters and will collaborate closely with internal teams and external community contacts to enhance fundraising efforts. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Visitor Experience Manager (VEM) to play a vital role in leading and shaping the visitor journey at Waddesdon Manor, working Wednesday-Sunday. The successful candidate will  be an  integral part of the Visitor Experience Management Team at Waddesdon Manor ensuring that every visitor enjoys an outstanding experience that is welcoming, inclusive, and memorable.

You will be responsible for developing a culture of ‘exceptional service, every time, for everyone,’ leading by example and inspiring the wider visitor experience team to deliver outstanding customer service. With extensive management experience in a visitor-facing heritage environment, you will act as an ambassador for our visitors across the property, ensuring their needs and expectations are embedded at the heart of all operations.

What you will do:

As Visitor Experience Manager (VEM), you will oversee house-based visitor operations and lead a seamless visitor engagement program - including tours, walks, and talks - ensuring that all audiences enjoy an exceptional and inspiring experience. By maintaining consistently high standards of welcome, interpretation and storytelling, you will enhance visitor satisfaction and foster memorable experiences.

You will play a key role in the growth and evolution of the Visitor Experience department, driving excellence in operations, recruitment, training, customer service, and engagement initiatives. Operational Management

• Strategically plan for the future of the house-based visitor operation by benchmarking against industry leaders, implementing best practices, and managing change, where needed.
• Support the AVEM in the operational delivery of house openings and tours.

Tours & Walks Operation

• Oversee the daily delivery of the public tours and walks program, ensuring high-quality, well-resourced experiences.
• Serve as a central point of coordination between teams and departments to efficiently manage spaces and resources.
• With the AVEM provide motivational and supportive leadership to all guides and volunteers, ensuring visitor expectations remain central to operations
• Collaborate with relevant departments to create scripts and guidance for walks and tour programme delivery
• Train as a guide to cover staff/volunteer shortfalls and maintain consistency in the visitor offer
• Support out-of-hours exclusive access tours, sharing responsibilities with the VE management team
• Develop industry-leading, accessible, and revenue-generating tour visitor engagement programme
• Develop a guide recruitment and training programme.
• Work with the Head of Visitor Experience (HVE), Group Bookings Coordinator, and Marketing team to tailor tours and walks to visitor and group preferences.

People Management

• Line manage the AVEM, providing operational guidance and supporting their professional development.
• Offer strong, motivational leadership to guides and volunteers, serving as an approachable point of contact.
• Recruit, develop, and coach a high-performing, enthusiastic team, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback.
• Inspire teams to engage with and safely manage the historic environment, fostering a passion for the house, its history, and collections.
• Collaborate with the VE & Volunteering teams to expand and enhance the year-round Visitor Experience volunteering program.
• Lead annual visitor care training for staff and volunteers.
• Provide ongoing role-specific training to ensure high standards of delivery.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Visitor Experience to manage staffing and operational budgets, contributing to financial planning.
• Champion accessibility, ensuring all visitor offers meet best practice accessibility guidelines and supporting the AVEM in developing access initiatives.
• Deputise for the HVE and provide operational duty management in the AVEM’s absence.
• Serve as a second duty manager for large events, overseeing a designated site area and making operational decisions.
• Act as a trained First Aider and Fire Marshall (training provided).
• Train as a “White Hat” for Waddesdon’s Disaster Response Team and take a leadership role in major incidents if required
• Support frontline operations during peak times, major events, or staff shortages as required
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in the heritage/museum sector
