The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Community Rehabilitation Service. We are the largest centre commissioned by NHS England for Category A neurorehabilitation.
The team plays a pivotal role in generating and overseeing referrals for our frontline services whilst managing all children and young people placement-related activity. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Business Development Marketing Manager to drive referral generating activity through both business development and marketing activity. This may include direct mail and advertising campaigns, both on and offline, through to organising and attending events, both those hosted by other organisations and our own. You’ll play an important role in supporting coordination of and delivery of this activity.
You will have the opportunity to develop and implement your expertise in an environment that is focused on the highest clinical and quality standards. You will work in a 24-acre site which is unusual in its beautiful historic nature, as it is unique in its state-of-the-art facilities including robotic technology and virtual reality.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate:
- An understanding of business development and marketing, ideally be in a services-oriented environment but this is not essential.
- Experience in implementing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns – both on and offline, whether to consumers (B2C), professionals (B2B), or government departments/professionals (B2G).
- Ability to work well with others – both within the BD&C team and across other departments, including the central marketing and communications team who support implementation of our plans.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects and tasks at one time.
- Strong administrative, computer and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment, with resilience, determination and passion.

Our café is an important part of the gallery, and our Cafe Team Leader is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly environment, serving a high quality menu with excellent customer service. This is an operational and hands on role where the large majority of time is spent planning and preparing the café food and drinks and interacting with the general public. The Chef Manager is also responsible for the supervision and the rota management of our café staff and will collaborate closely with our Head of Commercial to maximise profits and further develop the Café in line with the Gallery’s aims and objectives.

This is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery and development of our Gateway programme for women. Main duties:
· Oversight and delivery of all programme activities relating to Gateway including drop ins, one-to-one support, group activities and faith based activities.

· Lead the design and development of new services in line with client needs, resources, staffing and strategic purpose of the team.

The successful candidate will have:
- A full professional accountancy qualification (CCAB or CIMA).

- Demonstrable, previous, extensive experience in a finance business partner role.
- Track record of supporting the end-to-end processes for in-year forecasts and annual budgets.

The role:
The position reports to the Senior Grants Manager and this individual will work closely with Operations, Donor Relations and Development on overall grant-making activities. The Grant Administrator has responsibility for ensuring all the processes and procedures of the grant-making process functions are performed in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner in addition to making sure that all the daily, weekly, monthly grant reconciliation and compliance controls are performed accurately and on time.
The person:

About the opportunity
As an Event Content Manager, you will conduct exciting public policy research, work with the most senior speakers from across government, business, universities and civil society speaker management, and create engaging content.
You would take ownership of a portfolio of 40+ briefings, roundtables, workshops and senior level dinners per year across themes impacting economic growth and prosperity including: infrastructure, skills, net zero, AI and new technology, trade, and regulation.
Your mandate is to deliver high-quality, high-impact events, where you will be required to research key policy and economic trends affecting government, business and society, owning the full production life cycle from policy research and agenda setting to speaker acquisition and management etc. You will also collaborate with the marketing and membership functions to ensure that our policy focus for your events programme aligns with membership needs and shifting priorities.
This role is critical to our membership offer – all our events are highly respected and supported by the organisations membership base and will require a strategic thinker who can ensure that the right policy research is carried out to inform event idea validation. The role will be supported by the Event Operations team who will drive on-the-day logistics.
Responsibilities
Event content development
- Lead the content development and planning of your events programme across our themes, this includes:
- Build compelling agendas

About The East End Community Foundation (EECF)
EECF supports communities through our charitable activities of grants and programmes. In 2024/25 these totalled over £1.6m and we intend to increase our grant making year on year to provide greater and longer-term support so we can continue to make a difference to the lives of local people by supporting vital community-based projects with grant funding.
