Our dedicated and friendly team of nine staff are based in central Bath and we are seeking someone to join us in the Partnerships team to focus on supporting fundraising and stewarding high-net worth individuals, alongside supporting the wider work of the Partnerships Team to grow income from Trusts and Foundations.

Working with the Senior Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Assistant you will focus on stewarding, reporting to and securing income from our portfolio of existing high net worth individuals. Leading on the stewardship of a select portfolio of donors, supporting with mailings, appeals and thanking as well as developing prospects with the Individual Giving Team.

As part of a small energetic team, you will also support with specific projects and busy periods such as supporting the BBC Radio 4 Appeal and covering workloads during in-country visits to Ethiopia.

Ethiopiaid is a small charity that makes a big impact in Ethiopia. Our approach is simple, and it works. Since 1989, we have partnered with local NGOs in Ethiopia to provide the funding they need to put their programmes into action.

The projects we fundraise for range from maternal health, education, and disability to opportunities for women and girls, ending harmful practices, palliative care, health and emergency & recovery work. We support our partners to strengthen their capacity and deliver locally led programmes to transform lives at a grassroots level.

Main areas of responsibility, but not limited to:

Fundraising:

• Support income generation from a specific portfolio of high net worth individuals ‘Major Donors and Major Donor Prospects’
• Support delivery of the Major Donor mailing cycles and bespoke mailings including editing, data, printing and sorting.
• Ensure all donations are thanked and acknowledged in a professional and timely manner via relevant channels and by appropriate staff.
• Working to ensure online and offline communications include or exclude high net worth individuals in line with strategy and bespoke communication plans.
• Working with staff who manage our website to create and maintain bespoke landing pages and Partnership website pages
• Liaise with members of the wider team, specifically those working in Individual Giving to ensure; materials produced are always accurate & on brand and high net worth individuals receive any relevant communications produced by other teams
• Support wider fundraising activities and special appeals that involve high-net worth individuals
• Deliver on team KPIs and financial targets

Stewardship:

• Support Snr Partnerships Manager to ensure high net worth individuals bespoke Action plans are actioned and kept up to date.
• Support the stewardship of Major Donor Prospects and support development of donor pathways
• Lead on Major Donors Regular Giving stewardship:
• Working to uplift recurring gifts
• Secure new recurring gifts from Major Donors
• Coordinate a monthly regular giving membership newsletter Tibbir along with the Fundraising Officer (Individual Giving)

Support to the Partnerships Team

• Sharing partner project and budget updates as received
• Attend relevant Monitoring and Evaluation meetings (online)
• Support and provide cover during Partnerships Team members visiting Ethiopia
• Supporting the stewardship of family Trusts (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Prospect Research (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Potential to support out of office meetings and events

Administration:

• Ensure gifts received are coded correctly taking into account Gift Aid, appeals, specified funds.
• Ensure donors details are correctly recorded and updated
• Support compliance with GDPR and donor’s communication preferences.

Hybrid working, with some travels across West Mercia as required.

Key Responsibilities

• To work directly with service users to provide support, deliver action plans, and conduct follow-ups. This could be conducting initial assessments to determine the service user’s needs, providing tailored housing advice/support to service users transitioning from prison or serving a community sentence, or working with young people on various programmes.
• To liaise with partner organisations/agencies, as required, on service delivery.
• Where necessary (for example, when working with young people), challenge inappropriate behaviour in a fair and equitable manner while motivating them to change.
• To maintain caseload efficiently, and to maintain accurate case records and documentations on relevant systems.
• To maintain accurate service user records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
• To attend staff meetings and training events as required.
• To adhere to safeguarding processes, manage safeguarding concerns and risk factors.

Overview
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to manage our online shop. This hands-on role is vital in supporting our mission to protect wildlife and habitats in Kenya. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our supporters.

This is a part-time role at 0.4 FTE (15 hours per week), offer a pro rata salary of £28,000 - £30,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities to include:

Online Store Management

• Handle the day-to-day operations of the online shop including ensuring efficient order processing, stock management, quality control of incoming stock, processing customer returns, helping the team with packing orders during busy periods, and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
• Plan for the busy Christmas period by assessing workload and engaging the assistance of temporary staff, volunteers and the wider team as necessary.
• Conduct periodic stocktakes to ensure accuracy and reduce shrinkage, identifying any errors and training issues.
• Recommend to the Executive Director any updates to the online store's website to ensure it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and regularly refreshed with new products and promotions.
• Work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies to drive website traffic and sales.

Product Development and Sourcing

• Identify and recommend new products that will align with the SWT's mission, appeal to supporters and offer a minimum required ROI.
• Manage timely procurement of products and packing materials.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
• Create new product listings on Shopify including all relevant back-end product information.
• Write compelling descriptions for product listings, creating and adding appropriate imagery.
• Support Communications team in providing imagery and copy for featured products in monthly charity e-newsletter.
• Create visuals for shop adverts as requested by Executive Director.
• Review and update shop banners/landing page imagery seasonally to keep shop appearance fresh and inviting.

Volunteer Management

• Train and supervise volunteers in picking/packing, stocktaking and quality control.
• Assist in maintenance of the volunteer rota, organising volunteer support as needed based on tasks available, including forward planning for busy seasonal periods.
• Periodic review of output of volunteers to raise training issues where necessary to ensure standards are maintained.

Financial Management

• Manage the online shop budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets are met.
• Work with the Director of Finance to propose the annual online shop budget for Board approval.
• Produce stock reports for the auditors and be the main point of contact for the annual audit of stock.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions about product offerings and pricing strategies.

Customer Engagement

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Review global shipping methods and suppliers; recommend to the Executive Director and implement changes to make delivery to customers as smooth as possible.

Reporting and Analysis

• Generate regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and customer feedback.
• Use data insights to propose and implement improvements to the online shop's operations and customer experience.
• Working closely with the Director of Finance, provide reports and insights on the shop data for the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-school qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing an online shop or e-commerce platform.
• Strong understanding of online retail best practices, including pricing, digital marketing, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for wildlife conservation and the mission of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK.

We’re looking for a capable and caring person to join Lancashire Mind’s existing Housing Team. Under the direction of the Housing Operations Lead, you will manage a caseload of tenants with enduring mental health conditions living in properties that are managed by Lancashire Mind.

Via home visits, you will work with each tenant to agree a support plan to enable them to maintain their tenancy and move towards independent living.

You will build strong working relationships with local services to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting tenants, whilst at the same time developing and maintaining good working relationships with other local services and organisations that provide support services to tenants. 

You will complete and update records of interactions with tenants on the internal database and input data accurately onto monitoring spreadsheets. 

Experience of delivering a housing/tenancy management service, including arrears management, tenancy management (help with budgeting, managing bills and claiming the correct benefits), antisocial behaviour, safeguarding, repairs and health and safety, would be beneficial, but is not essential.

To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, be IT literate, and able to establish relationships based on trust with different people.

About the role

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. Lead on cultivating relationships with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees, with the aim of establishing additional high-value funding relationships.
• Work proactively across the organisation, including cross-culturally, to coordinate, develop, and deliver a high standard of compelling project proposals and reports ready for submission to donors whilst ensuring excellent grant/contract management to existing donor relationships.
• Actively participate in the networks surrounding trusts and foundations, sharing information, insights, opportunities, and fundraising materials produced.
• Represent Sightsavers and/or support staff delegations at conferences and networks to engage with and cultivate new donor relationships.
• Contribute to team, departmental, and wider organisational systems development and initiatives.

This is a true generalist role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a smaller, fast-paced team. You'll be jumping into a warm, collaborative environment and making a real difference across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Focus Areas:

• Lead on recruitment coordination - from guiding managers to onboarding new hires
• Payroll admin - monthly updates, data management, and liaising with the provider
• Provide first-line HR advice across the team
• Support on HRIS, contracts, lifecycle processes, and ad hoc queries
• Be a steady hand for the team's shared inbox and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• Solid generalist HR experience - ideally in a smaller or start-up environment
• Confident handling payroll data and liaising with providers
• Familiar with UK employment law & HR best practices
• Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector is a big plus
• Able to hit the ground running and manage your time well in a part-time role

We are currently seeking a Treatment Centre Support Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the centre run smoothly, while also supporting those reaching out for help.

Job Summary:

As the Treatment Centre Support Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals in crisis, staff, and visitors. You’ll provide front-line administrative and operational support to the Treatment Centre, working closely with our Business Support Team and Service Managers to ensure the centre runs efficiently and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, including urgent enquiries from service users
• Triage applications and assign assessments to Recovery Workers
• Maintain accurate records using the Apricot system
• Develop and manage weekly staff rotas
• Prepare documents, letters, and reports for management
• Organise welcome packs for incoming residents and induction materials for new staff
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring health, safety, and safeguarding compliance
• Order supplies, track maintenance issues, and maintain the treatment centre’s filing system

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

• Experience in a senior administrative or customer service role
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organisation and time-management abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience handling sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the Apricot data system or similar CRM tools
• Experience working in a healthcare, or recovery-focused environment
• Level 3 Business Administration qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with rota planning and resource coordination
