The post holder will create and promote a range of content across different channels (earnt and owned) to help the team in meeting its objectives.

You will help MHFA England to deliver integrated communications and campaigns, working with the marketing and communications team and wider organisation. All activity will be delivered in line with MHFA England’s vision and mission. It will help showcase the organisation’s expertise and support it to meet revenue targets.

You may also be expected to represent the marcomms team in the delivery of organisational wide projects and initiatives.

Due to the rapid expansion of Day One Trauma Support over the last three years, the charity’s infrastructure has needed to respond quickly to meet its changing demands. There is now a requirement to ensure that the Finance and Resources team has the right skill set and capacity to provide the support needed by the charity in an efficient and proactive way.

The HR Officer and Executive Assistant role is a newly created position to reflect both the growing HR needs of the charity as the workforce expands, and the executive support required by the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the efficient and effective running of the charity. This is a key role which is instrumental in bringing the HR and organisational administration functions together at an operational level.

Reporting primarily to the Director of Finance and Resources and assisted by an external HR and Employment Law support service, this role will provide advice, guidance and support to all line managers in HR related matters whilst building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout all levels of the organisation.  This will include support to ensure the efficient and effective management, monitoring and reporting of people metrics, from recruitment, development, retention through to attrition and at all stages of the employee life cycle.

The role will also provide crucial executive support to the CEO and SLT of three Directors, to ensure the smooth operation of their responsibilities and co-ordinating efforts of various parties to ensure completion of key tasks and actions.

As part of an expanding and ambitious organisation, there are considerable development opportunities for the successful candidate and the ability to help shape the infrastructure of the charity.

About you:

You will have at least 3 years’ experience of delivering HR support directly and facilitating line managers to deliver HR support.  You will have a demonstrable understanding of employment law and the practical application of this, with experience of implementing HR administration and operational best practice for example, in the areas of recruitment, capability and performance management. You will help lead in creating an atmosphere of trust and an enabling environment where staff can contribute their best and develop their potential, which is critical for Day One as a young organisation.

You will have significant experience of providing proactive and responsive administrative assistance to senior staff and demonstrable experience of developing and managing effective administrative systems.  Additionally, the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships through professional engagement and communication skills, both written and spoken, that are effective, empathetic and adaptable to different situations are key to this role.

You will be highly organised and responsive to others in a way that is both timely and professional with well-developed time management skills to manage competing priorities, ensure follow up of actions and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical to this role, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.

 To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience in customer/supporter loyalty and retention marketing.
• Experience working on fundraising cash appeals or other income generating campaigns.
• Proficiency in delivering marketing initiatives across various channels, most notably Direct Mail, Email, Digital.
• Some experience with Telemarketing and SMS would be desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to grow existing supporter value through communication journeys, supporter experience enhancements, or donor care initiatives.
• Project management skills with a track record of supporting the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
• Experience collaborating with external partners, such as creative agencies, fulfilment houses, or telemarketing agencies.
• Familiarity with developing and delivering fundraising and marketing assets both online and offline, with knowledge of both data and print processes for direct marketing.

Data Lead (Executive)
Location: Based in London with travel to sub-Saharan Africa 
Hours: Full time (office based)

The role
The goal of the Data Lead’s work is to set up data systems that help drive the organisations internal and their external partners’ success. The key areas include:

(1) to establish and manage an internal monitoring framework that tracks whether they are progressing towards their target – and helps them course correct if not on track;

(2) to provide strategic advice to their governmental partners on their data management and visualisation needs, which are key to advancing their human development agendas; and

Experience
To be successful in this role you will need extensive experience with integrated monitoring frameworks and the use of data to drive government decision-making. 

You will have familiarity with relevant sub-fields, such as labour market information systems; health data systems; or education data systems and be able to demonstrate familiarity with and/or experience working in sub-Saharan Africa.

The role is working externally at the highest levels so will require someone with first class interpersonal and presentations skills, the ability to navigate complex environments and a willingness to understand partners’ contexts and political constraints. You will need to fully supports the ambition of policy champions at national level without prescribing external agendas, have a passion for using evidence to drive better decision making and the ability to maintain focus on the big picture, even when discussing technical questions.

Substantive knowledge in a field related to international development or human capital development appreciated and fluency in French and/or widely spoken African languages is desirable. We're open to sector experience but are particularly interested to hear from you if you are bring experience from the Government or Finance sectors.

• Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
• Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

The post holder will have responsibility across a number of functions including fundraising and the general operations of the charity. This is an exciting opportunity for the post holder to build on the great foundations that have been laid and the existing partnerships that have been built to grow the organisation and scale its impact to prevent knife crime.

You’ll be responsible for managing the legacy and in memoriam (in mem) marketing programme, including annual budget proposals and analysis. You’ll promote legacy and in mem giving to both internal and external audiences, using a variety of techniques and media, including direct mail, telemarketing, digital, national events and internal cross-team working

Reporting into the Legacy Manager, you will either be able to work in a hybrid way working between home and 2 days per week at our London office or remotely working from home with a requirement to attend our London office for a team anchor day once a month.

About You:

Having previously worked within a direct marketing team within the charity sector, you’ll have experience project managing campaigns with external agencies and internal stakeholders utilising a variety of fundraising channels such as digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing. 

You’ll also have gained experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database. 

About The Role

• Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. 
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship. 
• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

Role Overview:

The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a fantastic membership organisation as they search for a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive to support them for an initial 2–3-month period.

This role is ideal for someone skilled in copywriting, data management/CRM, sales, and account management. Your main tasks will include collaborating with the Events, Marketing, and Membership teams to execute successful strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop effective sales and promotional email campaigns for 12-14 annual events, aiming for an annual event revenue of around £1m.
• Craft engaging marketing emails to boost engagement and increase ticket sales.
• Utilise email marketing best practices, such as A/B testing, segmentation, and personalised targeting.
• Proficiency in using email marketing platforms, with a preference for Dot Digital.
• Manage CRM systems to oversee sales pipelines and utilise external data sources and desk research.
• Develop and manage target lists for marketing campaigns.
• Strong administrative skills, particularly in Excel and Word, to manage ticket sales documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, financial mapping, and modelling exercises for ticket sales.
• Handle event bookings and related administration tasks.
• Analyse sales trends, feedback, and market trends, providing regular reports to colleagues and senior management.
• Foster relationships with both members and non-members, understanding their interests and needs to match with our events.
• Generate sales through various communication channels, including email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings.
• Represent the organisation at events and network with members.
• Develop a high level of understanding of the organisation’s members and events to effectively target and sell events.
• Support the membership and commercial team with ad hoc project-based activities related to member relationship management.

Person Specification:

• Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel for data management and analysis.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• 3-5 years of marketing/sales experience preferred.
• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Professional and persuasive communication skills.
• Collaborative and consultative approach.
• Knowledge of private capital/financial services is an advantage, but not essential.
• Interest in or eagerness to learn about the private capital industry.

PA to Executive Director of International Programmes

Contract: 13 Months Fixed-term contract, Full Time, Maternity cover

Salary: £39,358 - £41,325 with excellent benefits

Location: London, UK

Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

About the Team:
The International Programmes Department is made up of four regions: West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, and South Asia; and three support teams: Programme Support and Knowledge team, the Programme Funding and Partnerships Team and the Programme Operations Team; the International Programmes Department delivers our work effectively across Africa and South Asia focusing on quality programming; accountability and effectiveness; research, learning and documentation.

About the Role:
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive and professional support to the Executive Director of International Programmes, with some general administrative support to the Programme Operations Director and the International Programmes Senior Management Team.

The role will be split 80/20 with a majority focus on executive support for the Executive Director, ensuring they are well organised and briefed and supported to maximise her capacity to lead WaterAid effectively. The minority focus will be on general administrative support to the Programme Operations Director and to the International Programmes Senior Management Team. The role will also be instrumental in running operations in the department, including supporting the organisation with key high profile programme events, line managing the administrator to ensure the department is working effectively and efficiently within itself and the wider organisation.

In this role, you'll:

A) Provide professional, timely and proactive support to the Executive Director of International Programmes, including:

• Diary and meeting support
• Support internal processes, communications and prioritisation Support internal communications with the directorate and wider organisation so these are timely, strategic and engaging;
• General administrative support

B) Operations for the department

• Oversee departmental operations to ensure compliance with wider WaterAid processes as well as championing, innovating, or streamlining the department's process and procedure.
• Maintain effective filing systems ensuring archive material is safe and can be retrieved in line with Data Protection Regulations.
• Organise and lead logistical planning for any departmental events that take place in either the UK or Country Programme locations, as necessary.
• Work as part of a wider team of PAs and Administrators across the organisation, ensuring mutual support and good communication between teams.

About You:

• Proven successful track record of being a Senior Administrator or Personal Assistant in a global organisation, including exceptional diary management;
• Effective time-management, organisation and prioritisation skills, including ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and to keep track of high volumes of information within a busy environment;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to assimilate information quickly and produce accurate minutes, clear PowerPoint presentations and written briefings;
• Integrity and the ability to act with discretion and respect confidentiality.
• Digitally literate with excellent IT skills, particularly for setting up virtual meetings and effectively using Microsoft Office tools, with extensive experience of using PowerPoint and creating simple and compelling presentations;
• Numerical accuracy and experience of managing and processing invoices and expenses. Ability to co-ordinate / track project budget.
• Team player who is motivated by the desire to support others to be effective and efficient in their work, proactive, with confidence to take initiative and solve problems;
• Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally, if required, for the proper performance and delivery of the role;
