PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
·To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland and their kinship services, to provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services for kinship communities and to engage with families in their local communities.
·To offer a front-line service, primarily to kinship families based in the East Lothian Community, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and family events. Support of events in other areas in Scotland based on resources and availability.
·To hold and manage kinship care family cases, providing direct family support within service guidelines and delivery model.
·Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together kinship families and individuals, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network.
·To respond to enquiries received via the Information and Support Service and relevant email inboxes with relevant information and/or signposting.
·To be part of the wider kinship service team within Adoption UK Scotland, working across teams and services.
·Work collaboratively with colleagues across all services areas of Adoption UK
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Working alongside service leads within the kinship teams, and with the wider community team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for East Lothian Council Kinship community members, and kinship families in wider areas where resources and availability allows.
·Provide administrative coordination for community groups, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.
·To facilitate referral meetings with new kinship carers accessing the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including initial assessment of need to identify suitable support and signposting requirements
·To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to referrals and cases within the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including setting up new cases and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes
·To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery where time and resources allow, and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.
·To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities.
·To work alongside Adoption UK colleagues to develop and improve resources and services for kinship carers

Communications and Digital Engagement
- Inbox Management ensuring timely and professional responses
- Social Media: Assist with digital engagement by managing DMs, replying to comments, and creating content.
- Print Advertising: Manage the logistics of print advertising
General / Team Support
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of fundraising and event materials, such as banners, stationery, and merchandise
- Team Collaboration: Provide general administrative support to the ER team and contribute creative ideas for improving supporter care and donor engagement

As a Leasehold & Communal Surveyor, you’ll deliver high‑quality surveys across our blocks and communal areas, providing accurate data on condition, lifecycle and investment needs. Snapshot of your role

Our School Talks are a key part of our work at Just Like Us. We take hundreds of bookings from schools every year, and deliver hundreds of school talks across the UK with the support of our LGBT+ volunteers aged 18-25.
This role will be key in working with schools to clarify and action their bookings with us, and supporting our volunteers to deliver those talks, working with the Volunteering Team.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.
● School Talks programme: We train and support our LGBT+ 18 to 25 year olds to speak in secondary schools about growing up LGBT+ and allyship.
● Pride Groups: We help secondary schools set up and run lunchtime or after school clubs for LGBT+ pupils and their allies to meet, learn and get support, creating a safe space in every setting.

Job Description
This role reports directly to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager.
Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager
● Manage the administration of our School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools and ambassadors, supporting the whole delivery
● Represent the charity at conferences, events, prides and fairs

Cavell is the charity supporting the nursing and midwifery family through tough times. We provide grants, advice and a listening ear to Nurses and Midwives who may feel alone and are struggling to cope. We are a small and friendly team committed to ensuring no Nurse or Midwife faces tough times alone.
The Role
To provide efficient and holistic support across Cavell. This role will support various teams across the organisation, with a focus on giving colleagues the support they need to fulfil their roles as well as directly engaging with beneficiaries, nominators, coaching clients and award winners.
The role will provide coordination of the Cavell Star Awards and provide support for fundraising and marketing activities.

Main Responsibilities
Cavell Star Awards Administration:
- Coordinate the processing of Cavell Star Award nominations, from submission to fulfilment.
- Post awards packs for the Cavell Star Awards and ensuring they arrive in a timely manner.
- Communicate with nominators, recipients, and partners to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Maintain accurate nomination records and provide regular reports on activity and outcomes.
- Liaise with suppliers and external partners regarding award materials and distribution.
- Ensure all nomination data is recorded accurately and kept up to date in internal systems.
Fundraising and Marketing Support:
- Support fundraising and marketing campaigns with logistical tasks.

Pathways is a specialised welfare advice service that provides information, advice, advocacy and representation for Disabled adults (over the age of 18) living in the Richmond Borough. We work with clients, supporting them to navigate the complex Housing, Benefits and Social Care systems. In this role, you would be providing information, guidance and advice to Disabled people and their families, enabling them to have more choice and control over their lives.
We are also part of a larger network of Disabled-led advice services. Working together, we have developed pathways for Disabled trainee case workers, collated data on Housing and Benefits issues and have fed into important consultations and campaigns.

About the role
