  • Ensure administration and organisation of grant activities is developed and delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
  • Understand the different local and regional organisations and identify their needs and requirements
  • Oversee communication with grant applicants including, receiving and acknowledging grant applications, undertaking due diligence for applicants, logging grant applications throughout the process, liaising with our Finance team to organise payments
  • Proactively engage with local charities, community groups, and local residents in the Midlands, particularly those representing minority communities, ensuring they are wellconnected and engaged with the Museum
  • Manage volunteers to support community activities
  • Deliver programmed community engagement activity across the Midlands (predominantly Shropshire and the West Midlands) where the Museum can make a difference, cultivating meaningful partnerships
  • Keep up to date with the understanding of developments within community engagement and EDI locally, regionally, and nationally, as well as be aware of the provision of other museums
