Main purpose and scope of the role:

To support and work in collaboration with our lead designer at Parentkind to: 

• Develop, implement and maintain a new brand for Parentkind

Duties and key responsibilities:

1.Design:

• Champion the Parentkind brand across all designed assets and activities to ensure brand integrity and consistency
• Design assets which will include but are not limited to; print and digital magazines, guides, social assets, email designs, web assets, video content and PowerPoint templates
• Contribute creatively to large campaigns and activities ensuring that we are delivering best in-class and impactful design, that effectively represents and promotes our vision
• Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy

2.Project management:

• Lead on the delivery of design activity such as guides, social and email campaigns, ensuring that design work is delivered to time and allows for revisions, sign-off and launch deadlines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Assist in managing and organising design assets, including image libraries, templates and project files

3.Collaboration:

• Work with the lead designer at Parentkind to support on projects, refine design outputs and deliver work within the Parentkind brand and to deadlines
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design work meets the objectives of the relevant projects and is done so within the Parentkind brand

4.Continuous learning:

• Work with others across the organisation as well as independently to understand our key audiences so that the work delivered is audience-focussed

The ACNS is a key senior role within the Nursing team, acting as the clinical specialist lead and overseeing the community nursing service for a defined area on a rotation basis (non-clinical).

Working with an integrated team of nurses, you will contribute to the overall care of patient and families referred to St Giles within the community setting.

As a team member, you will contribute to a positive supportive working environment with an emphasis on team work and cooperation. Coordinate training bookings, using the diary system, email and databases to ensure training is organised, allocated and delivered.

Create resource pack for colleagues delivering training courses and workshops.

We are seeking a Fundraiser with a background in lead and income generation with the drive to create change for farmed animals in the UK. You will be part of a small, high-impact team specialising in consumer education and political advocacy to help us grow our supporter base and raise essential income to support our work for animals.

As Fundraiser (Lead Generator), you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by identifying and cultivating potential donors and supporters. Salary: £23,595 (£39325 pro-rated) (likely increase from August 1st to keep up with inflation)

The role at a glance: Leading on EFA’s operations, with particularly emphasis on financial management and HR support for our small team of (currently) 8 employees. You’ll develop and administer our People policies, practices and culture to support EFA as a happy, equitable place to work and an effective mission-focused organisation. Scope for both day-to-day care for our systems and creative improvement of how we do things. About EFA

English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English language classes (ESOL) for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 500 adult migrants across London. We’ve become a national centre of good practice for a radical participatory approach to ESOL, informed by the work of Paulo Freire, and we share this approach through trainings, research and partnerships. 

Organisation: We are a staff team of 8 people supported by a larger team of volunteers and 9 trustees. EFA promotes shared leadership and collaboration and we aim for our organisational structure to reflect this. In the last 4 years we’ve transitioned away from having a CEO to an executive team to oversee operations and decision-making - which you could be elected to join following your probation period. We’re still in transition and there is scope to make a real contribution to developing innovative practice within our workplace. The small yet busy Solution Delivery Team is expanding from six to ten employees, sitting within the IT Department. The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, the Power platform, T-SQL and other technologies as required.

Responsibilities of our Power BI Developer:

As a Power BI Developer you will be working with a number of departments within Cats Protection to understand their data and reporting requirements. You will need to identify any quality issues with their data, as well as work with the departments on how best to resolve historic data issues and improve processes to ensure future data is captured to a high standard. The data will then need to be moved in to our Power BI platform where you will create user friendly and accurate reports to show this data.

Current projects include:

• Supporting existing reports and dashboards for Neutering Finance to track processing times and backlog
• Building a number of reports for our Volunteering teams to track foster home inspections, volunteer availability, and surveys of the volunteers
• Supporting a network of Power BI Champions within the organisation, providing them with data and supporting them in finetuning reports to better inform decision-making

What we’re looking for in our Power BI Developer:

- At least 3 years of experience using Power BI and extracting data from SQL, Excel and SharePoint.

- Experience presenting data in a format that users can understand

- Knowledge of the PowerApps platform

- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and ETL processes

- Someone with a logical, analytical approach to problem solving

- Knowledge of the appropriate professional and/or legal data standards

We will focus on the strengths and expertise of our member groups to promote engagement with Ireland's unique music, dance, sport, language and culture.

Our current administrator is progressing to a new role managing relationships with our volunteers and with partner schools, and we are rercuiting to fill her role.

Background - Number Champions

We set up Number Champions in 2018 to transform the lives of children in state primary schools who struggle with numeracy or lack confidence in maths.  We employed our first staff member, our Head of Operations (HoO), in 2022 and our second, an administrator, in 2023.. 

We are the only charity systematically working in-person with young children in our field.  Early support will put children on track to achieve their full life potential in a world where some fluency with maths is an essential building block. Success in this one area can increase their self-esteem and their involvement in education as a whole. 

Now in our sixth year, we are working across 14 London boroughs in 32 partner schools, with over 110 In-School Volunteers supporting more than 300 children. We plan to increase these numbers each year. Our medium-term vision is to expand across London, while maintaining the highly positive impact we have achieved to date. 

We are proud to have received two national awards last year recognising the work of our volunteers, and we are currently shortlisted for a 2024 award.

Everyone at Number Champions is passionate about improving children’s educational and life chances. 

The Administrator role 

Our HoO has taken the lead in developing the charity and in giving us the capacity to expand further while maintaining quality of delivery. The administrator reports to the HoO and manages the bulk of the administration processes of the charity.  

The role is for an equivalent of 2 days a week, during school term-time only. It will be almost all remote, although you will be expected to attend occasional meetings in Central London (or possibly North London if that is more convenient for you).We therefore are looking for candidates living in Greater London as this gives maximum flexibility for both the employee and the charity.

We intend the role to be permanent, but we are offering an 11-month contract September to July pending confirmation of funding. 

Impact on the organisation 

You will take on key responsibilities for administration and for contact with different groups of stakeholders. In a small professional team, you will have the opportunity to suggest ideas and to influence the development of the charity.

Core responsibilities 

• Manage the administration processes of onboarding volunteers and schools
• Gather, capture, and maintain the charity’s data in our management system
• Communicate with volunteers and with office and finance staff at partner schools
• Raise invoices

Benefits 

25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, prorated for a 2-day-a-week role. 

(Although the role is for only 39 weeks a year we will pay you for  33 days annual holiday reduced only by 2/5 for working 2 days a week.  This increases your take home pay by about 4% compared to also reducing holidays by 39/52 for weeks worked.)

Employer’s contribution to pension of 3%.

About the Team

You will be part of the Help for Heroes Community Fundraising Team, who work together to build support in the community to secure donations and build long time partnerships with community organisations / supporters and volunteers to deliver the annual community fundraising budget year on year. You will report to the National Senior Fundraising Manager and work collaboratively across the charity to drive income to support our veterans and their families.

A Permanent Customer Relations and Sales Officer to work as part of a centralised sales team, which leads all Autism Know How sales, logistic and customer support enquiries.

Managing all aspects of the customer sales journey, this role will lead and deliver an effective, timely and professional customer journey and experience, maximising income potential and repeat business to ensure performance against team sales targets and to enable the society to continue to improve its offering for autistic people.

This role will work closely with colleagues across Autism Know How, Marketing, CRM and Business Development departments, and other relevant NAS teams where required.
