As our Marketing Executive (Loyalty) in our Loyalty Squad you will play an important role in driving brilliant supporter-centric marketing campaigns to raise crucial support for Save the Children UK. Working closely with Marketing Managers, you will contribute to the development and execution of effective retention and income growth activity. Your focus will be on fostering deep connections with our supporters, prompting action, and driving income by increasing both donor volume and value.

 In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with Marketing Managers to deliver compelling multi-channel campaigns that drive income and retention targets.
• Utilise various marketing channels, including Direct Mail, Email, Telemarketing and SME to create engaging communication journeys for donors.
• Take ownership of specific aspects of the supporter experience to enhance engagement and drive long-term value.
• Contribute to the creation and delivery of key marketing materials across multiple channels and propositions.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure smooth campaign delivery and optimise results while prioritising a positive supporter experience.
• Maintain accurate records of campaign activity and performance, generating regular performance reports.
• Incorporate customer supporter insight and data analysis into marketing strategies, utilising a test-and-learn approach to continually improve acquisition outputs.

 To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience in customer/supporter loyalty and retention marketing.
• Experience working on fundraising cash appeals or other income generating campaigns.
• Proficiency in delivering marketing initiatives across various channels, most notably Direct Mail, Email, Digital.
• Some experience with Telemarketing and SMS would be desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to grow existing supporter value through communication journeys, supporter experience enhancements, or donor care initiatives.
• Project management skills with a track record of supporting the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
• Experience collaborating with external partners, such as creative agencies, fulfilment houses, or telemarketing agencies.
• Familiarity with developing and delivering fundraising and marketing assets both online and offline, with knowledge of both data and print processes for direct marketing.
• Ability to utilise data and insights to inform marketing strategies, track results, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.

Property & Facilities Manager

Salary: £37,500pa (pro rata); Full time or part time (3 days)

We are seeking a Property & Facilities Manager who will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the properties of Richmond Team Ministry and their facilities. The properties include three churches, their associated church halls, vicarages, Parish Office and investment properties.

We are looking for someone with property and facilities management experience including managing small building projects and related finance and budgeting.  S/he needs to be able to work collaboratively as part of a small team and have the ability to take the initiative and develop the role while supporting the ethos of the Richmond Team Ministry.

About the role

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users. 
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Experience in using tools like HotJar (preferred).

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18.  We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.

About Help

Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.

This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client. 

The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.

About the job

The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.

Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20. 

We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.

The Candidate

Education & experience: 5-6 years’ administrative, operations, customer service and supervisory experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.

Role Summary     

With Alcohol Change UK’s innovative Try Dry® app welcoming more users than ever before, we are excited to be developing our offer to Local Authorities which will benefit from receiving valuable local health data trends and insights taken from our app. This role will be instrumental in designing a refreshed product, recruiting new Local Authorities to join us and providing ongoing support to them to make a real difference to those drinking at risky levels in communities across the UK.   

Key Tasks and Responsibilities   

Development of a Try Dry local product   

• With the Senior Digital Programme Manager, take learnings from existing contracts with Local Authorities and develop a refreshed package of support to market to Local Authorities, enabling them to gain valuable insights into the drinking behaviours of people in their local area  

• Develop professional, standardised reports to be shared with those who have signed up   

• Develop a ‘package’ of benefits (access to local data, insights, tailored marketing materials, additional support) that makes signing up a more compelling offer   

• Working with our digital agency, recommend ongoing technical improvements to the app and reporting platform to improve user experience   

Recruiting to a Try Dry Local ‘network’  

• Recruit new Local Authority members to our Try Dry ‘network’ – presenting regularly to Local Authority clients and demonstrating the benefits of membership through presentations and marketing calls   

• With support from other staff, develop wider marketing approaches across multiple channels, including digital, print and social media advertising  

• Attend conferences, events and trade shows to advertise as appropriate  

• Work with colleagues in our Consultancy and Training team to explore opportunities for cross promotion   

 Relationship Management   

• Provide ongoing support to Local Authority clients, acting as a first point of contact    

• Prepare data reports for each Local Authority throughout the year

The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.
• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.
• Keep up to date with industry and charity insights and ensure this is reflected back strategically across ways of working and account management

Project and Initiative Management

• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and Network Development teams with the aim of optimising food out to our network
• Develop and lead FareShare cross-departmental strategic activity to enable us to derive maximum value from key food partners including liaising with fundraising, marketing and volunteering teams

• Demonstrable experience managing multiple accounts in the FMCG, food, retail or comparable sector with professionalism and integrity consistently meeting or exceeding challenging targets
• Good working knowledge of the key players across the food industry and their ways of working
• Successful track record of managing cross-functional projects to tight timescales and budgets, ensuring involvement of all key stakeholders
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at a range of levels and across multiple functions with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to use own initiative working independently and responsibly

Desirable

• Experience of working in a retail or food industry sector
• Experience of project evaluation, data-driven analysis and impact reporting

Battersea is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing & Communications Department.

Battersea’s Marketing & Communications Department is responsible for communicating the breadth of the organisation’s work in an engaging and memorable way. Though our award-winning campaigns, we use our influence to affect change for dogs and cats within and beyond our gates; building Battersea’s reputation on a national and international scale. Our work involves everything from innovative integrated advertising campaigns to rehome our animals, to supporting other departments with their strategic objectives. We also manage Battersea’s online communities, offer brand guidance, deliver innovative digital activity, and manage internal communications, ensuring that staff and volunteers stay informed and engaged. The department’s ultimate goal is to raise awareness of Battersea’s work, so we can be here for more dogs and cats.

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the Content Team within the Marketing & Communications Department, overseeing delivery of the content framework, using evaluation and measurement to enable strategic and creative development so Battersea’s content output achieves brand, marketing and organisational objectives.

Overall objectives of this role:
• Oversee strategic delivery against the content framework, supporting the team in effective implementation and measurement
• Lead the team in developing and delivering best in class creative storytelling content that is strategically aligned, maximised, and continually evaluated.
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to effectively prioritise and shape briefs coming into the team.

Then this could be the role for you. At the Digital Poverty Alliance, we are looking for our new Policy & Insights Manager. You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.

We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. We seek social change through our National Delivery Plan, whilst also delivering solutions in local areas that help real people and provide evidence for change. 

This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive, working alongside our Head of External Affairs.

A big part of our social change ambition is delivered through our public affairs work; influencing policy makers so that our ambitions are shared with government, companies and with everyone able to deliver to our vision of a world where everyone is able to connect successfully with the digital world where and when they want to.  You will also be responsible for drafting white papers, analysing trends and data, and identifying new insights.  You will support our Industry Forum, working with existing and new members to broaden the group.

The DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team with support from our PR agency. As such, you’ll lead on delivering our policy and public affairs work, from briefing MPs to developing our policy positions.

Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. Given the need to attend meetings in Westminster and Whitehall, you will need to live within commuting distance of London.

Key focus areas

• Building relationships with public, private and third sector organisations, including the wider DPA community.
• Working to convene and collaborate with organisations and individuals committed to ending digital poverty.
• Work with colleagues across local, regional and national governments and across political parties to advocate for policies to promote digital inclusion.
• Undertaking research and analysis to understand digital poverty and the impact of policies to address it.
• Managing policy and research projects including the ongoing development of the national delivery plan and supporting ‘proof of concept’ projects.
• Developing commercial and research partnerships with organisations and supporting the development of the industry forum.
• Communicating the DPA vision and perspective through verbal and written communication.

ABOUT BLACK ROOTZ

Black Rootz is a multigenerational growing project providing opportunities for Black and racially minoritised people to grow food for themselves, their families and their communities. Black Rootz was established in 2019 by a collective of Black growers in Haringey who recognised the need to organise to challenge the deep inequalities in the growing and food systems. Over the past 5 years, Black Rootz has developed a holistic practice for Black and racially minoritised communities incorporating intergenerational knowledge transfer, increased access to land and food sovereignty, regenerative environmental practices and reduced food inequality.

Black Rootz has been incubated as a project within The Ubele Initiative since 2019. As an established name in the growing community, it is now building towards an independent future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager is a new role that will provide hands on management capacity to Black Rootz. The role will bring experience and energy to support the delivery and continued development of the project’s core activities; the Community Growing Programme and a new workshop series. The Project Manager will take on a management position and, with support from Ubele, help the project to navigate decisions that will enable Black Rootz to achieve its overall social, environmental, and operational ambitions. 

The successful candidate will be central in Black Rootz’ journey towards a more independent and sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the complexity andholistic nature of Black Rootz and will be committed to its values. As a small team, the Project Manager will be as comfortable making plans and big decisions as they are rolling their sleeves up and being hands on to support the team. While this is a fixed-term contract, we expect the role to be extended and grow over time.

The Death Penalty Project is recruiting a project manager to join our team. We're looking for a self-started with experience of managing donor-funded projects and a passion for human rights. We are open to flexible working requests. 

About us:

The Death Penalty Project (DPP) is a is a legal action NGO with special consultative status before the United Nations Economic and Social Council. We provide free representation to people facing the death penalty worldwide, with a focus on the Commonwealth. We use the law to protect those facing execution and promote fair criminal justice systems, where the rights of all people are respected.

We believe the death penalty is a cruel and inhuman punishment that discriminates against the poorest and most disadvantaged members of society. We want to see it consigned to history.

What we do:

We represent and assist those facing the death penalty and other cruel punishments, free of charge.

We deliver targeted and practical capacity building to judges, lawyers, mental health professionals, and others working within the criminal justice system.

We commission original research and publish training resources that challenge misconceptions and deepen understanding around the death penalty.

We engage with governments, policymakers, and other key stakeholders in a constructive dialogue on how abolition of the death penalty can be achieved.

The Role:

Reports to: Deputy Director

Duration of contract: Permanent, subject to a three-month probationary period

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week. DPP are open to flexible working requests.

Location: Combination of work from home and office days in Central London

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the coordination of ongoing project activities, including the commissioning and publishing of research, training and capacity building plans, and advocacy and engagement efforts.
• Manage donor-funded grants, to ensure agreed objectives and deadlines are met.
• Produce high-quality narrative reports to funders in line with donor requirements, and coordinate with the Deputy Director for the development of accurate donor financial reports.
• Produce and maintain up-to-date project documents and tools, such as project delivery workplans and country information sheets.
• Draft other documents as required, such as briefing notes, memoranda and/or letters for advocacy and engagement efforts.
• Develop and maintain DPP’s monitoring and evaluation system, effectively tracking progress against organisational and project indicators, and developing and implementing project monitoring and evaluation tools.
• Maintain active relationships with project partners involved in research, capacity building and/or engagement activities, as well as manage any contracts for services that may be required for the delivery of projects, such as audits or evaluations.
• Identify, manage and / or escalate any risks or issues that may arise in relation to effective and timely project delivery (including reputational, operational, financial, or other risks).
• Keep up to date on relevant political developments in our priority geographies and brief other members of the team as needed.
• Proactively develop ideas for project activities that advance DPP’s mission and strategy in our priority geographies.
• Work closely with Communications colleagues to develop and feature impact data and stories that highlight our research, capacity building, and advocacy work on DPP’s website and social media.
• Contribute to the drafting of concept notes, project proposals or other funding applications, where needed.
• Provide line management and support to project interns and volunteers, when applicable.

Knowledge, skills and experience

Essential:

• At least five years of relevant experience in the non-profit and / or human rights sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong track record of producing high quality donor reports and/or briefing documents
• Experience managing logframes and/or other monitoring and evaluation frameworks
• Experience managing EU and/or FCDO-funded projects, or similar
• A self-starter that enjoys working in a small team, with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines, and with a range of responsibilities
• A strong interest in human rights issues related to The Death Penalty Project’s work
• Permission to live and work in the UK

Desirable:

• Knowledge and understanding of international human rights law and related issues, or strong desire to learn
• Knowledge of the UN system, for example the workings of the Human Rights Council

Using a data-led approach, you’ll be able to use your user experience expertise to help drive the adoption of a digital-first way of working across the Foundation’s activities.

What does the role involve?

· Managing the relationship with our website development agency. Making recommendations for areas of improvement and further development.

· Managing our analytics and other insight platforms to ensure that we collect robust data and can make informed, evidence-based recommendations to ensure we’re using digital to deliver against the Foundation’s strategic objectives.

· Support and develop the implementation of an SEO strategy for our website content to ensure that our audiences can find our content.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

· Ability to interpret complex requirements and user needs and make recommendations of implementable solutions.

· Knowledge of the fundamental of Agile and Scrum

· Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio)

· Analytical skills with the ability to effectively capture, process and interpret information and make actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
