About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Volunteering and Community Programme Intern to join our small, supportive Services Team. This role is central to coordinating and developing Ataxia UK’s volunteering network and community initiatives, helping strengthen the support available to people affected by ataxia.
You’ll play a key role in supporting volunteers, organising community events, and assisting with the delivery of services that help people affected by ataxia live the best possible quality of life. The role also contributes to the growth and improvement of our volunteering and community programmes, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of our community effectively and inclusively.
This is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangements — three days a week in the office (or more if preferred) and two days working from home. Some flexibility may be required to support events and activities across the organisation.

You’re an organised and proactive person who enjoys connecting with others and helping make a difference and you are confident communicating with people from all walks of life — including those affected by challenging circumstances. Background
The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the go to place for the art of hand embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we offer a range of courses, from leisure classes to degree-level education, and are home to the renowned RSN Embroidery Studio. Our mission is to keep the art of hand embroidery alive and thriving through education, innovation, and heritage.
Fragile Threads has been generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players. It is a multi-stranded and innovative, narrative-led programme exploring biodiversity loss, textile heritage, and cultural expression through embroidery. With multiple partners, community engagement projects, and a major public exhibition planned for 2027, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passionate interest in culture and creativity, particularly in the applied arts.
You’ll be key to delivering the Fragile Threads corporate development income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. To achieve this, you’ll need to find innovative ways to engage organisations and identify opportunities to maximise income from the relevant sectors
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and approaching potential corporate partners
Work closely with the Fragile Threads Project Lead and the RSN Fundraising Team to:
- Identify, research and deliver a pipeline of targeted new business that delivers maximum impact for Fragile Threads, particularly the exhibition, whilst meeting the RSN’s organisational objectives
- Work with senior external stakeholders to deliver effective stakeholder engagement plans, leveraging internal relationships where needed to increase partner commitment and visibility
- Create compelling and persuasive and audience-tailored partnership propositions / proposals
- Research, shape and deliver tailored partnership proposals and presentations to potential collaborators, including corporate partners, funders and creative contributors, drawing on an understanding of client and audience needs and project priorities.

Project development
Working with the RSN Fragile Threads team to:
- Help identify potential funding sources and contribute to proposals and applications.

- Track expenditure and resources in collaboration with the Project Lead and Project Manager ensuring that project activity stays on track and within scope.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of partnerships and communications.
- Maintain accurate, up to date supporter records and data on the CRM system and any relevant pipeline management tools, for analysis and reporting purposes.

We undertake advice & support, research, movement building, communications and resourcing work to support, mobilise and advocate for the development of models of managing land that create shared social, economic and environmental benefits. We see systems change as a core value of our work and seek to be transformative, both through externally-facing projects and internal approaches and ways of working.
Our research work supports collective learning related to working on and with the land. We communicate our findings through articles, blogs, podcasts, reports, events, and more - building a shared evidence base to support the development of a just land system. Through our research, we seek to make an impact at a local and a systemic level. We want to create conditions that allow people and communities to thrive, and promote care for the land and environment. We do this work on both a commercial and grant funded basis.
The role holder will lead the full range of Shared Assets’ research projects, from scoping and design through to delivery, follow up and evaluation. They will need to have experience of designing and carrying out research and learning activities with a wide range of partners - including academics, community groups, NGOS and local authorities - in collaborative ways. In the past we have worked on research projects of many scales - from large European Union funded consortia, to smaller, one-off pieces which help a local authority or community organisation move forward with their work. Often our research work involves collaborating with a group of other civil society organisations to provide evidence of why change in the land, food and farming system is needed, and generate action on these issues.
The main areas of work are to: manage and deliver funded research projects (or projects with a research component) with partners, reflect with colleagues on what we are learning within and across workstreams as an organisation and sector, use this knowledge to create new ideas for research work, and support fundraising for these, as part of our ‘infrastructure’ role.

We are looking for an administrator to join our Age Well Together Service to support the Home Together Coordinator to facilitate our Home Together Project.
The Age Well Together service offers a range of assistance to support clients at home and in their local community to prevent decline; maintain independence; reduce social isolation; and promote health and wellbeing with care, friendship and understanding. The Home Together Service will provide both reactive assistance for up to six weeks from a clients return from hospital and remote ongoing support thereafter.

About the role

About Woman's Trust
Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Purpose of the Role: As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth through high-impact, strategic and philanthropic partnerships with trusts, foundations and corporate partners.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you will lead the stewardship and growth of existing strategic partnerships, including managing a select portfolio of funders. You will also take a proactive approach to identifying, cultivating and securing new funding opportunities to align with income targets and the charity’s strategy.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, you will craft compelling cases for support – placing young people’s voices and experiences at the heart of every proposal. In addition, you’ll help to build and nurture our supporter community through initiatives such as payroll giving, individual giving and corporate community fundraising.

Person Specification (Knowledge, skills and experience required)
Fundraising experience
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising role in a charity or similar non-profit organisation
- Demonstrable experience of stewarding high value partnerships with trusts and foundations and/or corporates
- Demonstrable experience of writing funding proposals/bids/grant applications and pitching for funding opportunities
Fundraising knowledge
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques such as prospecting, cultivating, securing and managing partnerships
- Understanding of good practice in fundraising, including data protection and donor stewardship
- Understanding of budget creation and income reporting
IT skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, including Excel functions
- Experience of using or understanding of using CRM software to effectively support fundraising e.g. Salesforce

Job Purpose:
Volunteering Matters, in partnership with Active Suffolk and Sport England, is recruiting for a Community Connector to work in the Chantry / Belstead Hills / Stoke Park area of Ipswich
The aim of the role is to gather insights into local people’s lived experiences, particularly around physical activity, by having meaningful conversations in everyday settings like cafés, outside schools, and at community events. These insights will help shape future initiatives that support community wellbeing and development.
Ideal candidates will have strong local ties—preferably living in the area they work—and be confident, approachable, and proactive. The role involves identifying community needs, building local networks, signposting residents to support, and feeding back discussions to project partners.
Flexibility is key, with some evening and weekend work expected. The role reports to the Delivery Leader at Volunteering Matters and works closely with Active Suffolk’s Development Officer for Ipswich. A DBS check will be required before starting.

The Literacy Pirates is on an exciting journey of growth, rolling out our innovative learning programmes to reach more children than ever before. We are seeking a motivated, target-driven School Partnerships Manager to lead the recruitment and stewardship of schools into our programmes. In the next five years we want to increase the number of school partnerships from 40 to 150.
This role is ideal for someone with sales, marketing, or recruitment experience who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and meeting ambitious targets. Direct experience working in schools is not essential (though beneficial). You will be confident selling on the phone, presenting to senior leaders, and ensuring excellent partner experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver Literacy Pirates’ recruitment strategy, working to clear targets that align with our organisational growth strategy.

Proactively identify and pursue new school leads through outbound calls, emails, networking, and events.
