Support Dog is a unique and innovative national charity that has been transforming the lives of families affected by autism, epilepsy and disability for 30 years.

Support Dogs trains and provides specialist assistance dog to give 100% reliable advance warning of epileptic seizures; to help children with autism to stay safe and better engage with the world around them. Our disability assistance dogs bring independence and a better quality of life for those with physical disabilities including MS, Cerebral Palsy and Fibromyalgia.

Founded and entirely based in Sheffield our charity operates across the UK, growing significantly over recent years. The demand for our work is overwhelming, with requests for support increasing ten-fold over the past few years. Support Dogs provides all of its services free of charge and relies entirely on voluntary donations for funding.

Funding from trusts and charitable foundations is vital to our charities ability to provide its vital, life saving work. Support Dogs is going through a period of growth and is looking for an experienced fundraiser to provide support to help us to reach further and maximise opportunities as our existing post holder takes maternity leave.

Tommy’s believes that pregnancy complications and baby loss should not be seen as ‘bad luck’. Through their four research centres, specialist antenatal care clinics, pregnancy information services and campaigning work, they support people who refuse to accept that a baby’s death is ‘just one of those things’.

The Partnerships Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial and fundraising accounts totalling c.£250k, as well as some new business development. The portfolio includes a £60k per annum CRM relationship with Plum & Ashby, focused around the Wave of Light candle campaign for Baby Loss Awareness week, with lots of influencer and comms engagement. The new business element will support the Senior Partnerships Manager and the Head of Corporate in their new strategy for increased brand, strategic and coty partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

• Account manage and build strong relationships with corporate partners at a 5-figure+ level
• Create and deliver high quality account management and stewardship plans for your accounts
• Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally
• Take a proactive role in developing and nurturing a pipeline of new opportunities

Essential criteria:

• Experience of fundraising in a charity setting – ideally in corporate partnerships, although we’d also be open to transferable skills from trusts, major donors or community fundraising
• Successfully managing funder relationships at a 5-figure+ level

Job Purpose - Project Delivery Manager 

Responsible for the overall management of a defined project(s); establishing the membership of a cross functional project team; ensuring that the work is done within agreed time, cost, and quality tolerances; ensuring execution; ensuring post project evaluation.

Key Result Areas

• Deliver the definition, planning, development, and operational implementation of a new system(s) across the organisation.

This will be a major opportunity for the organisation to completely reengineer our front-end processes, enabling our support staff to capture data at the point of activity and eliminating paper. This area of our work helps us to understand the impact of our grantmaking and creates and evaluates internal and external datasets to improve our work. Data Collection: Assist with the collection and storage of research and survey data, including demographic data and outcomes indicators, employing quantitative and qualitative methods. Gather and engage with external open and government datasets. 

Database Administration: Retrieve and analyse datasets from internal databases, responding to requests for data from the team. Update and enter data into key dashboards to monitor trends and issues. 

Data Analysis: Assist with data analysis tasks, including cleaning and analysing quantitative data using software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI), as well as coding and analysing qualitative data using thematic analysis techniques.

Reporting and Presentations : Assist with the preparation of key reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising key findings, trends, and insights from impact and evaluation activities for fundraising purposes, including developing content for social media.

Evaluation Planning: Assist the implementation of evaluation plans for specific programs or initiatives. Contribute to planning large-scale projects, including the selection of appropriate evaluation methods, data collection tools, and evaluation frameworks.

Survey Administration: Assist with the design, administration, and analysis of surveys to gather feedback from grantees, staff, and other stakeholders. Monitor and act on grantee feedback, sharing relevant results with key staff.

Research Administration: Schedule and undertake interviews/focus groups, supported by the I&E Manager. Manage administrative activities such as contact with participants, transcription and coding.

Collaboration: Support the I&E Manager to collaborate with internal staff, research partners, and organisations in the sector to support evaluation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.

Oversight of Spear Programme

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education.

Line Management and training

• Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
• Be line managed by Resurgo to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.

Church Community

• The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
• Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services.

Site management and set-up

• Work with the Church to set up the training room and IT infrastructure for the new Spear Centre in advance of opening

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.

Who are Women’s Aid?   

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For almost 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.    

Purpose of the Project Manager role:   

As Project Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in working across the organisation to ensure that sound project management principles are being used in all aspects of our work. You will be responsible for delivering cross-cutting, significant and complex programmes and projects that underpin Women’s Aid’s strategy. 

You will support the Head of Strategic Programmes to effectively schedule and monitor the projects, programmes and core business activity across the organisation, in line with our key strategic goals.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager: 

• Full scale project management of key strategic projects across a project’s full life cycle, to deliver within scope, on time, on budget, and within quality commitments. This includes designing project models, allocating resources, scheduling, monitoring, stakeholder communications, reporting and budget management. 

• Assessing and recommending to the senior leadership team the viability and suitability of new proposed projects.

• Substantial (5+ years) proven experience in project planning and execution, monitoring and reporting, and achievement of objectives.

The Data Analyst: Geo-Spatial position will play a key role in the implementation of a new digital Information Management System (IMS) for the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation data. The system is in place and is in the process of being refined by a consultant. The new post-holder will have a handover with the consultant in order to take on the management of the IMS.

The role includes data management and analysis of all geo-spatial indicators across all projects. This will be done in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
