The Candidate

Good numerical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills the ability to develop effective working relationships with people at all levels internally and externally.

About the role
The Database Manager at Macmillan provides specialist technical support to the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising teams to drive consistent, high-quality engagement and usage of the Raiser's Edge customer relationship management database. The Database Manager will facilitate high quality data management and integrity as well as develop accurate reporting methods and dashboards to ensure performance insight is gained for High Value (HV) audiences to help maximise fundraising in line with Macmillan’s Performance Management Framework.
About you
You will be a motivated and experienced Database Manager who is highly organised, solution-focussed and able to prioritise. You'll have a well-developed knowledge of fundraising databases, data strategy and data analytics. You will have knowledge of all relevant data protection legislation and industry regulations as well as experience of using statistical and analytical techniques in commercial and marketing environments.
Experience of working with The Raiser's Edge database or any other similar CRM database is highly desirable and advanced SQL coding skills is essential.

The Lyceum is seeking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Development Team. The Development and Database Administrator is a key post and will support the team by ensuring that all record keeping is up to date and in line with fundraising best practice; that administration of gifts and communication with donors is timely; that accurate reporting supports planning and reporting to the board; and that development events run smoothly. The post holder will show an eye for detail and will work closely with colleagues across the company including the Box Office, Front of House, Stage Door, Finance, and Marketing.
