We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team at Endometriosis UK and help us make a real difference for the 1.5 million in the UK with the disease. This is a crucial role for our small but growing charity, supporting the CEO to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. You’ll be a key point of contact, proactively managing all aspects of EA support to the CEO to enable them to maximise their performance and delivery, as well as coordinating our governance administrative systems and processes. You will be working as part of a passionate team with a strong commitment to achieving change to help those with living with endometriosis.
The role will be ideal for a highly organised, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant used to working on their own initiative and comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. You will be a born organiser, with superb judgment, a diplomatic approach, solution focused and with excellent problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to think two steps ahead, guided by our strategic and operational priorities, and the confidence to steer senior managers accordingly. You will bring a meticulous attention to detail and exemplary skills in prioritisation, time management and task completion. Advanced skills in MS Office are essential. Your written and verbal communication skills will be first-rate, with stakeholders at all levels. You will be comfortable handling confidential material with the utmost discretion. You will have proven experience supporting senior executives and Boards, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector. The EA will also play a proactive role in improving organisational processes and supporting priority areas as needed.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the CEO to make sure their diary supports their strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include managing, triaging and responding to emails, complex diary management to ensure effective use of their time, providing briefing papers and ensuring the CEO is well prepared for meetings, and ensuring we’ve efficient governance and office processes. You will need to have the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and sensitivity, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. You will act as that indispensable individual for the CEO, ultimately responsible for proactively ensuring their work life runs effectively and efficiently. The key focus of the role is to ensure the CEO is able to maximise their impact and influence in the charity, plus ensuring the smooth operation of board and committee functions,

- Contribute to void property turnaround by coordinating inspections, ensuring remedial works are completed quickly, and preparing properties for new tenants.
- Assist with organising and attending resident meetings, open days, and community engagement events to build positive relationships and gather feedback.
- Provide administrative support for organisational related processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information in accordance with GDPR and data protection policies.
- Use internal systems to log interactions, raise repairs, and track progress.
- Monitor trends in customer feedback and complaints to identify recurring issues and suggest service improvements.

As our Operations & Executive Support Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping the organisation running smoothly. As Behaviour Officer, you'll take the lead, figuratively and literally, when it comes to the assessments of our dogs and their training programmes. You'll play a key role in supporting adopters, during the adoption process and after rehoming, to ensure that every dog has the best possible chance of successfully settling into their new life.
What does this role do?
As a Behaviour Officer you’ll:
- assess the behaviour of dogs, before they enter the centre and during their stay, to identify potential behaviour needs, as per Dogs Trust Standard Operating Procedures.
- design and implement Behaviour Modification Programmes and training plans to enhance each dog’s chances of rehoming, in support of the centre’s priorities based on individual dog welfare and requirements.
- oversee and support the implementation of training and behaviour plans by colleagues. Work with other departments to modify and seek guidance.
- monitor the progress of individual training and rehabilitation programmes and maintain detailed records of the progress of each dog. Provide professional training, support and assessment colleagues.
Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you'll have a thorough knowledge of dog behaviour and welfare, including understanding the principles underlying learning and the ability to write training and behaviour programs. You'll also have achieved ATBC competence at Animal Trainer level and have achieved specific competences from the Behaviour Technician standard. You'll have excellent communication skills with the ability to handle delicate situations sensitively and professionally and have the ability to and experience in handling difficult dogs. But above all, you'll be passionate and committed to the work of Dogs Trust.
A full, manual driving licence is also essential, as driving will be a part of the role.

· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.
· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.
· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.
· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.
· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.
· Help oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.
· Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.
· Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.
Engagement:
· Provide support for online events programmes, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and the Online Events Committee. The type of support to be provided includes hosting Zoom sessions, supporting speakers, follow up administration including evaluations.
· Support IPWSO’s Famcare Board by facilitating their online meetings and assisting with their online events.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager to provide membership support, liaising with IPWSO’s member organisations as needed.
· Proactively engage with member associations to promote IPWSO and also to understand their needs and how IPWSO can be of help.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager on our Educational Outreach programmes. Work will include liaising with event organisers with regards to IPWSO’s booths at different conferences, ensuring follow up as needed (including help with preparation of PowerPoint slides), engagement follow up including data entry to update our database (Donorfy).

What you’ll be doing

We are now looking for an experience Domestic Abuse Officer to provide an effective, efficient, and supportive service to women who are victims of domestic abuse providing emotional, practical and welfare support. As our Domestic Abuse Officer, you will provide a high-quality pro-active service to victims of domestic abuse and other forms of VAWG in either 1:1 or group settings delivering a service to those at medium and low risk.
As a Domestic Abuse Officer, your responsibilities will be:
· To work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.
· To ensure that women are enabled to access their rights and are informed about their options.
· To reach out to survivors of domestic abuse and raise awareness of domestic abuse and local services offered.
· To support and implement the aims and objectives of Young Ladies Club ensuring that all work is undertaken in accordance with Young Ladies Club policies and procedures.
· To facilitate or co-facilitate the support groups
· To facilitate the provision of culturally sensitive therapeutic interventions and counselling services.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Demonstrable qualifications and/or experience in the field of domestic violence accommodation and support.
· An excellent working knowledge of key issues faced by black and minoritised women who have experienced Domestic Abuse and VAWG. Able to apply this knowledge at a practical level.
· Experience of identifying and responding to the risks to and needs of survivors of domestic
violence
· Experience of working with vulnerable women at least some of which are women or girls affected by domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence.
· A sound working knowledge of the practical, emotional, social and economic issues facing black and minoritised women and girls affected by domestic, and intimate relationship abuse
· Experience of multi-agency partnership working
· Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Immigration, Honour Based Violence, Forced Marriage and FGM.
· Experience in running support groups in the community
· Ability to work with interpreters and volunteers.
· Ability to work with voluntary organisations, local authorities and government agencies on behalf of women.
· Effective communication skills.
· Experience of managing basic administrative systems.
· Training and qualifications in the provision of advice and advocacy on issues such as housing, welfare benefits and domestic violence.
· Good working knowledge of IT system and databases.
· Ability to run groups virtually on Zoom/Teams etc
