We hold a strong belief in women’s assets, talents, skills and abilities. Through our services we partner with women as they access and navigate services to aid recovery and realise their goals.

We are opening a new detox centre and are looking for Support Workers to provide safe, compassionate, and practical support to individuals undergoing detoxification in a structured, trauma-informed environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to clients during detox, ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing
- Recognise and respond to signs of withdrawal, deterioration, or crisis, escalating concerns appropriately in line with protocol

Essential criteria:
- Experience in a support, care, or people-focused role
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and willingness to follow safeguarding procedures
- Ability to recognise risk and respond appropriately, including escalation of safeguarding or medical concerns.
- Ability to build professional and supportive relationships with vulnerable individuals
- Willingness to complete mandatory training (e.g. safeguarding, first aid, de-escalation, substance misuse).
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using electronic systems
- Calm, reliable, and compassionate approach, including in challenging situations
- Willingness and ability to work across different shift patterns, including some weekends, as required by the service
Desirable:
- Experience in mental health, substance use, recovery, or related services

In the role of Assessment and Reconnection worker you will:
- Work with our clients on their road to recovery, by identifying their needs, helping them to access appropriate support and access suitable accommodation.

- Provide our clients with dynamic support to identify suitable accommodation and support them to obtain this.
- Have some housing management responsibilities as part of ensuring we deliver safe, high quality services.

As a Peer Support Worker you will:
- Offer 1-1 peer support in Letchworth and within other HMN Wellbeing Centres across the County depending on client need and waiting lists
- You will help co-facilitate our online Peer Support Group
- Meet client need and work within this personalised approach
- Work with clients in the community, within their home, as well as in one of our Wellbeing Centres
- Support clients in a peer support way

We are looking for two Adult Community Workers to join our team.
This is a deeply relational, hands-on role working alongside LGBTQ+ adults to build community, connection and belonging. You will assist in the facilitatation of inclusive groups and events, provide one-to-one support, and create spaces where people feel safe to be themselves and explore their identities, experiences and aspirations.
You’ll work directly with individuals and groups to support their personal, social and emotional wellbeing, while also ensuring that the voices of those we work with shape and influence the services we provide. Whether you’re running a group, supporting someone one-to-one, or helping deliver a community event, your role will centre on empowerment, inclusion and care.
You will collaborate closely with a small, passionate team to respond to community needs, develop meaningful programmes, and represent Proud2Be within the local community, including at events such as Pride.

As part of this role, you will receive monthly supervision, a dedicated space for reflection and support, and 4 paid mental health days each year in addition to annual leave. As a Night Young People Support Worker at our service in Durham, you’ll empower residents in supported accommodation to develop key life skills, strengthen resilience, and move forward with confidence in education, training, employment, and wellbeing. Using an assets based, psychologically informed approach, you’ll create SMART support plans, complete risk and needs assessments, and ensure every young person receives personalised, meaningful support.
As part of the team, you’ll respond to incidents, safeguard vulnerable clients and help new residents settle into the service. Working proactively with colleagues and external agencies, you’ll use clear communication, strong boundaries and steady problem solving to maintain safety and wellbeing throughout the night.

About the role:
This is not a role where you sit on the sidelines. This is a role where you show up, stand alongside women, and help create the kind of safety and belief that many have never experienced before.
In our Women’s Respite Service in Camden, you’ll be working with women who have faced abuse, exploitation and homelessness, often after systems have let them down. You’ll be part of a space that feels different. A space where women are listened to, where their experiences are understood, and where they can begin to rebuild a sense of control over their lives.
No two days will look the same. One moment you might be de-escalating a crisis, the next you’re advocating with services, or sitting alongside someone as they begin to make sense of what they’ve been through. You’ll use your understanding of trauma, gender informed practice and the realities of violence against women and girls to shape how support is delivered, making sure every interaction is grounded in safety, dignity and respect.
You’ll hold a small but complex caseload, working intensively with women to build trust, navigate risk and move towards stability and independence. You won’t give up easily. You’ll stay curious, creative and persistent, even when progress feels slow or uncertain.
As a senior in the team, your impact goes further. You’ll lead by example, guiding colleagues through complex situations and helping to embed a way of working that truly recognises what women have experienced and what they need to move forward. You’ll help shape a service that doesn’t just respond to crisis, but creates real, lasting change.

The Dementia Day Centre Manager is a pivotal leadership role for someone who combines a deep commitment to person‑centred dementia care with strong operational, safeguarding and people management skills. About you
