About the role
In this role we will trust you to work with other team members on a caseload of clients delivering personalised support to them. You will proactively engage with our clients and provide a hand so they can overcome barriers, move into independent living and sustain a tenancy. Our clients have a range of support needs that impact their experience of homelessness. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse. You will deliver structured support and do some risk management so we will trust you to keep proper records and complete some admin tasks. This includes, reviewing support and risk plans, involving key stakeholders where required, showing and signposting our clients to appropriate external support and services, following safeguarding procedures, do some cleaning and contribute to the delivery of a housing management service including collecting income. You’ll also resolve difficult and challenging situations in a sensitive manner balancing the needs of the clients and the safety of the service.
Main Responsibilities Of The Role:
· Ensure the effective delivery of high quality care, support and housing management according to Homeless Oxfordshire policies and procedures.
· To be a supportive and effective part of the team working as part of a rota including evenings and weekends.
· Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
· To support and encourage clients to care for themselves and develop independent living skills.
· To assess and manage risk for individuals and in the service, making use of emergency services as required.
· Report any safeguarding concerns without delay in line with procedures.
· To make and maintain Housing Benefit claims and support clients to pay their service charges regularly.
· To work in partnership with other agencies to ensure the delivery of holistic wrap around support.
· To support the running of the service and perform shift responsibilities and duties that maintain good health and safety and ensures the safeguarding of clients and others.
· Manage challenging situations in line with procedures and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
· To participate in handovers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring that information is properly recorded and passed on where appropriate and relevant and in a timely fashion.
· Ensure that IT systems are updated as required and concise record keeping is completed promptly.
· Maintain positive relationships with clients, relatives, carers, professionals, commissioners, contractors and the local community.
· Ensure clients are aware of and support them to maximise their opportunity to be involved in Client Participation.

Job Description
As Beacon Team Leader, you will be a member of the local management team within the victim service, managing a team of Beacon Support Workers as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the effective delivery of end to end support for victims in line with contractual expectations. You will provide line management support, supervision and guidance to the team in line with Catch22’s policies and procedures.
You will ensure that victims receive a high quality service through the effective management of the team’s performance, maintaining organisational and professional standards expected of the victim service. Stella Maris is the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church. We are looking for a Regional Port Chaplain for the East Englia Ports to support seafarers, fishers and their families.
In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.
About the role
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.
You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities. You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.
- Provide practical help such as transport, communication access, and emergency or crisis support.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. As part of our learning and development Anne Harris Skills Development Programme, we aim to provide a high level of training and development opportunities for all staff, so you are able to perform to the best of your ability, achieve individual and team objectives aligned to Rainbow Trusts strategic plan, supporting staff to be their best and feel a valued member of a high performing organisation.
Our Family Support Teams are given the opportunity to complete a number of diverse training courses in their first 12 months, including but not limited to: Mental Health First Aid, Makaton, counselling skills, introduction to play.
The programme aims to provide a building block for you to individually tailor your own learning and development needs.
