What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to connect schools with powerful, practical research. You’ll take a leading role in shaping how NFER communicates with educators, using your creativity and insight to bring our work to life across digital channels.

One day you might be crafting social media content that sparks conversation among teachers, the next, you’ll be writing an email newsletter that lands just right with a headteacher seeking evidence-based ideas. You’ll help turn research into engaging, accessible summaries, so schools can quickly grasp key insights and put them into action.

You’ll also update and improve our For Schools website pages, ensuring every word is useful and user-friendly. Behind the scenes, you’ll track performance using analytics, learning what works and what could work even better. And throughout it all, you’ll collaborate with researchers, designers, and communications experts to deliver thoughtful, impactful campaigns that schools actually want to read.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Experience in marketing communications or a related role

About the Service

The Crisis Recovery Service (MK) provides support for individuals who would like to address their immediate mental health needs, as well as manage their wellbeing in the long term.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support individuals on a one-to-one basis and work with them to put together a personalised action plan to address their immediate and longer term needs in line with their mental health priorities. Over a number sessions you will work collaboratively with individuals to explore the situation and factors affecting their mental health, support them to develop skills and tools to help restore and maintain their emotional wellbeing and find solutions to address the wider issues affecting their mental wellbeing including debt, housing, unemployment, and loneliness.

Service Delivery

• Deliver focussed support to individuals experiencing mental health crisis in MK in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed Crisis Recovery Service as well as contract requirements.
• Manage and prioritise a caseload of service users including processing referrals and assessment of their needs and suitability in line with the access to services process.
• Work with individuals to explore the situation affecting their mental health and wellbeing and co-produce a personalised, bespoke support plan to address their immediate and longer term needs in accordance with the priorities and urgent support required by individuals.
• Take a holistic approach, based on the individual’s priorities and the wider determinants impacting on their health and wellbeing such as debt, poor housing, unemployment, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
• Offer focused support to individuals on a 1-2-1 basis with the aim of building their knowledge, skills, confidence and resilience.
• Signpost individuals to wider services and encourage and support people to access local activities and community services.
• Carry out health and safety responsibilities as directed by the Crisis Recovery Service Coordinator, in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).
• Carry out responsibilities as directed by the Crisis Recovery Service Coordinator for the collection, updating, monitoring and reporting of service data in line with Mind BLMK’s contract and systems requirements and procedures.
• To ensure the service delivers outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs and achieves the services KPIs.

As EA to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role has a primary focus in providing comprehensive administrative support to the COO, in collaboration with the wider Directors’ office team and the COO’s direct reports.

About the role 

This role is an integral part of the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP) team. The key responsibility will be to manage contracts and relationships across the councils that have received funding for additional Empty Homes Officers (EHOs) to bring empty homes back into use at scale. You will work closely with the existing Partnership Officer role that focuses on providing support to the existing network of EHOs.

Role specifics 

As Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in managing new contracts with councils, meeting with key stakeholders to agree terms and supporting the development of detailed project plans with clear milestones. You’ll chair regular advisory group meetings to monitor progress, identify and address any emerging issues, and work collaboratively with councils to find solutions. Promoting the role and impact of Empty Homes Officers will be central to your work, as will providing hands-on support through best practice sessions and tailored training, developed in partnership with the SEHP team.

To succeed, you’ll need strong experience in stakeholder and project management, confidence in delivering CPD and training, and the ability to build productive, trusted relationships. About the team 

The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership Team are made up of 10 staff members. Led by our National Manager, we have a Communications, Policy and Projects branch of the team. This role falls within the Projects team.

The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership is funded by the Scottish Government and works to four overarching outcomes to bring privately owned empty homes back into use:

1. Strategy: A strategic approach to bringing empty homes back into use is adopted across the country, enabling better targeting of resources and tracking of progress to bring more empty homes back into use.

About Katherine Low Settlement   

Katherine Low Settlement is a busy, local charity that has been serving Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community since 1924. We are dedicated to building stronger communities and enable people to challenge and find ways out of poverty and isolation.   

We run a range of our own community services to support local older people and children, young people, and their families from refugee communities. We campaign for social change. We incubate and support other charities and social businesses to thrive. Each week we work with 30+ charities and community groups supporting more than 1,000 people. 

We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. These include local schools and community organisations. Maintaining great relationships with these and other supporters Is a key requirement of this role. A confident self-starter, you will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Role Purpose 

Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the role.

Production Lead
Contract: Fixed Term contract to 31/3/26, potentially permanent pending confirmation of continued funding.
Salary: £35,500 - £43,000 per annum (pro rata), plus Into Film benefits
Location: London, UK (Hybrid working and office based as required, with some travel across the UK)

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.

The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Joint Heads of Programme and Head of Marcomms to identify audio visual requirements in support of the Into Film strategy, including income generation. 
• Lead on planning and allocation of work for a team of six, supporting on and leading projects as required.
• Oversee departmental production budget, and budget from commissioning departments, ensuring that expenditure is planned, tracked and evaluated. 
• Plan for and manage freelancers in support of production activity as required.
• Manage Production Team, identifying where support, training and development are required to ensure a flexible approach to producing a diverse range of audio-visual content. 
• Ensure that statutory regulations in the provision of film and media content are complied with (safeguarding and child protection, GDPR etc.). 
• Ensure that all audio-visual content is legally compliant and rights are cleared for use on specified channels. 
• Oversee production on key projects including the Into Film Festival and the Into Film Awards. 
• Ensure that Into Film audio-visual content reflects the diversity of its audiences, including teachers, young people and children from under-represented backgrounds and communities. 
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities:

• Commitment to quality internally and in all dealings with Into Film’s stakeholders including teachers, children and young people, industry partners, funders, supporters, parents and carers, and members of the public.
• Commitment and active participation in helping Into Film live its EEDI values and ethos through everything it does.
• Contribute to long term planning to ensure growth in line with demand and resources.
• Contribute to the regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience of team management in a fast-moving production environment. 
• Experience of audio-visual content production and post-production, including for social media.
• Extensive experience of working successfully and collaboratively with senior colleagues from across an organisation to plan and produce audio-visual content.
• Experience of managing individual project and departmental budgets. 
• Good working knowledge of rights and compliance issues in relation to audio visual production. 
• Confident, creative judgement, including experience of feeding back on briefs, scripts and edits, and taking responsibility for project sign-off and delivery. 

Desirable:

• Experience of producing audio-visual content for an education and/or youth audience.
• Experience of editing audio-visual content using Premiere Pro.

EMPLOYMENT DURATION

Fixed Term Contract, Rotation of Working Days are 3 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays) and 5 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

JOB PURPOSE

The Office Administrator will undertake all administrative support duties, typing, creating letters/templates, maintaining all databases of contact and contractors, filing, and responding and maintaining records to standard enquiries. The role also requires answering the phone and logging calls, checking voicemails, opening mail, creating Notices, and populating the Notice Boards at regular intervals, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information, and abiding by Goulden House Co-Operative Ltd GDPR regulations.

Salary:

£28,000 per annum pro-rata (3 day & 5-day weeks)

MAIN DUTIES

• Resident engagement, taking and responding to residents’ calls, ensuring that all such engagement is documented on the Goulden House Resident Engagement Database
• Updating the Goulden House Registers (Risk Register, Complaints Register, Anti-Social Behaviour Register, Intercom Databases etc)
• Raise Works Orders and Purchase Orders and services on SAGE as per Estate Manager instruction
• Taking responsibility for the Approved Contractor List, ensuring that the contractor’s documentation is correct and current, i.e. Public Liability, relevant Health & Safety certification.
• Liaise with contractors and organising repairs whilst ensuring compliance with the Goulden House Co-Operative Ltd Procurement Policy
• Issuing resident/visitor parking permits
• Monitor CCTV daily putting particular emphasis on fly-tippers.
• Updating of Notice Boards across the site
• Inspecting the cleanliness of the Communal Areas twice weekly and signing off of the Cleaning Schedules which are placed in all the Communal Areas, in the absence of the Estate Manager.  
• Estate walk around as required or in the Estate Manager’s absence.
• To undertake such duties as are reasonably assigned to you from time to time by Estate Manager

SERVICE DELIVERY

• To take a pro-active role in Health & Safety issues on the estate.
• To assist in ensuring the Co-operatives’ aims in relation to customer awareness are achieved.
• To promote a positive image through the development of good working relationships with tenants, lessees, committee members, contractors, Wandsworth Council staff and other agencies.
• To ensure equal opportunities policies and procedures are complied with in relation to staff, members, residents, and the general public.
• The Office Administrator may be required to take on any other duties that may be reasonably expected of the position as advised by the Estate Manager

WORKING HOURS

Week One (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.00am – 5.00pm), Week two (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday),9.00am – 5.00pm. Week Three, (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.00am – 5.00pm), Week Four, (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday),9.00am – 5.00pm.
