About the role

The Drive Training Coordinator plays a central role in coordinating the planning and delivery of training activities across The Drive Partnership. The Training Coordinator will provide efficient logistical, administrative, and learner support across all Drive workforce trainings. This includes managing training schedules, resources, communication, and data in support of high-quality training outcomes.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with potential for 12-month extension to March 2027 - pending funding confirmation.

Pembroke College, Oxford, is seeking to appoint a Donor Relations Officer to play a pivotal role in its fundraising and stewardship programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to contribute to the long-term development of one of Oxford’s most forward-looking Colleges.

Founded in 1624, Pembroke is an inclusive and dynamic College based on a central site in Oxford that joins award-winning new developments with historic quadrangles. The College has ambitious fundraising goals to support scholarships, academic posts, buildings, and other key priorities.

The Donor Relations Officer will work closely with the Development Manager and Development Director to devise and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy for Pembroke’s major donors. The role involves producing bespoke donor reports, drafting proposals and gift agreements, coordinating stewardship events, and ensuring that donors receive appropriate recognition and communications. The post-holder will liaise closely with the Finance, Academic, and Communications teams, as well as Fellows, staff, and students, to ensure accurate and impactful donor reporting.

The successful candidate will have excellent writing, project management and interpersonal skills, be proactive and detail-oriented, and able to manage confidential information with discretion.

Role Overview

The Donor Relations Officer role focuses on stewardship and proposal writing.  This involves devising a stewardship strategy for major donors, producing reports for donors, and drafting proposals and gift agreements for prospective donors. The post-holder reports to the Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties to be carried out by the post-holder include:

Stewardship

• Working with the Development Director and Development Manager, create a stewardship strategy for all major donors, ensuring that everyone receives annual reports on their giving and the appropriate level of recognition.
• Work with the College’s Finance team to obtain annual reports on the status of restricted and endowed funds for inclusion in stewardship reporting.
• Take ownership of the College’s stewardship groups for major donors, namely the Foundation Fellows, Sheppard Circle, and Master’s Circle.  Liaise with the Senior Alumni Relations Officer to create and deliver events for members of these groups and devise ways to further our relationship with them individually and collectively.
• Work with the Accounts Office and Academic Office to ensure that restricted funds are used in accordance with their purpose and to track and report on progress to donors in line with relevant gift agreements and pledges.
• Ensure donors receive appropriate recognition in all relevant College publications and other media and work in close collaboration with the Communications team to ensure donors receive relevant College and Campaign communications.
• Work with the Development team, Communications team, and others in College to create an annual report demonstrating the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke for distribution to donors to the College.
• Identify opportunities to publicise the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke through multimedia communications and digital platforms (e.g., videos, newsletters, digital campaigns).
• Once the programme is established there may be opportunities to undertake face-to-face stewardship meetings with donors.

Proposal writing

• Support the Development Director and Development Manager in drafting bespoke proposals for major donor prospects.
• Assist in the production of fundraising documentation to appeal to potential major donors.
• Make effective use of donor records to ensure proposals and reports are data driven.
• Draft gift agreements for major donors.

Internal collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the wider team and colleagues across Pembroke, supporting work outside your functional area where necessary.
• Build strong internal relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the stewardship programme is supported at the highest level.
• Work with Fellows, staff, and students to obtain reports and other stories relating to the impact of donor funding.
• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Development Director, which may include travel and event attendance outside standard working hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation. You’ll manage our Ultra Challenge Series, of whom we are a Series Partner, our Skydiving program and our Berlin Marathon team.

As a Challenge Events Executive, you will leverage your knowledge and utilise data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and shape budget plans. You will be responsible for driving and delivering marketing plans with a focus on email and digital activity, as well as coordinating the production of marketing collateral to ensure excellent supporter experiences and efficient delivery.

You will also work with the Database and Supporter Care teams as well as Challenge Events Assistants to ensure that supporter data is collected and stored efficiently, so that supporters are thanked appropriately, and post-campaign analysis is comprehensive. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. You should possess hands-on experience utilising relationship databases, coupled with an understanding of effective marketing channels, particularly digital.

Additionally, expertise in stewardship techniques will be crucial for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts. You should also have an understanding of how to use insights, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

The Digital Inclusion Worker will be responsible for providing targeted one-to-one digital support and delivering workshops to both disabled and non-disabled residents of Enfield, helping them to improve their digital skills. This will be achieved through the delivery of tailored training and learning programmes designed to promote digital inclusion. The Digital Inclusion Worker will also involve residents in the co-design of the project, network with community groups and partner organisations, support the recruitment of volunteers, troubleshoot technical challenges faced by residents, and assist ECP’s Project Manager in producing key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress reports.

The Digital Inclusion Worker will have extensive Digital Inclusion knowledge to:

• Manage the Enfield Digital Champions (Volunteers) project ensuring adherence to compliance, health and safety matters, and quality assurance.
• Support the recruitment of Digital Champion volunteers to sustain and enhance a network of 10 digital champions per year delivering support and skills training in Enfield.
• Provide training and development opportunities to volunteers to sustain interest and enhance skills.
• Manage the programme of digital skills workshops and work with ECP Project Manager to on-board new locations for groups/sessions.
• Host Bi-monthly network sessions for all champions and provide appropriate related 1:1 support, as required.
• Create bespoke workshop material based on resident top learning priorities.

• Support the recruitment of volunteers (with help from other partners orgs) from the Enfield community to build intergenerational learning and broaden the project's scope.

JOB PURPOSE:

• To pro-actively engage with local residents and partner organisations to develop a vision for our neighbourhood
• To co-create potential future activities for the Springfield Project and beyond, developing action plans and funding proposals and testing new approaches
• To ensure that the voices of the Sparkhill community are enabled and promoted to key stakeholders, including those whose voices may be marginalised using conventional approaches

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To enable the voices of Springfield Project service users and other local residents to be heard and acted upon both within the Springfield Project and in the wider neighbourhood/ community
• To proactively engage with local residents and partners to identify issues affecting the local community, gaps in current provision and to support the co-production of new services/ activities that meet local needs.
• To amplify the voices of Sparkhill residents to ensure representation in local and city-wide systems
• To develop, implement and maintain creative and effective communication methods and tools to promote opportunities for engagement and participation in Springfield Project activities and in the wider neighbourhood, including outreach to those that might be marginalised by traditional approaches
• To coordinate the Sparkhill Child Friendly Neighbourhood Youth Advisory Board, ensuring young people are empowered and enabled to participate, to act on issues that are important to them and ensuring that they have ownership of the group and the activity that develops from the group.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PR & Communications Lead to take ownership of our media strategy and help elevate the Hospice’s profile. You will manage all communications functions including media relations, branding, internal/external messaging, digital content, and event promotion.

Key Duties Include:

• Developing and delivering a PR & communications plan aligned with the Hospice strategy
• Acting as the main point of contact for all media and press enquiries
• Managing the Hospice website, newsletters, and social media presence
• Supporting income generation through high-quality marketing materials
• Writing press releases, managing media visits, and arranging press conferences
• Maintaining consistent branding across all content and publications
• Building strong relationships with internal teams, supporters, and stakeholders
• Monitoring media coverage and evaluating campaign effectiveness

You will have a recognised Public Relations or Journalism qualification (CIPR or NCTJ) and at least one years experience in a media/communications environment. Strong writing, editing, and digital media skills are a must.

About WA-UK

The Welfare Association (WA-UK) is a UK registered charity supporting transformative development projects and humanitarian relief interventions to empower and benefit Palestinian communities in the West Bank, Gaza and the refugee camps in Lebanon.  WA-UK partners with Taawon and its network of local Palestinian organisations and international actors operating in the region.  WA-UK projects in the sectors of health, education and development are the outcome of a locally led needs assessment exercise and are designed in consultation with its partners and implemented by local actors.

Job purpose: We are seeking a motivated, experienced Programmes Officer who will work with the Board to deliver WA-UK’s objectives. The appointee will develop and manage WA-UK’s programmes in the region and work in partnership with Taawon’s field offices and other relevant actors and authorities.  You will devise operational strategies, manage budgets and ensure compliance with donor requirements.  You will provide technical support/guidance, monitor programme quality, ensure projects comply fully with the charity’s legal, regulatory and policies to achieve programme objectives.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

Development and Management of Programmes

Guided by WA-UK’s objectives and strategic priorities and working in collaboration with its key partners the postholder will:

· oversee the development and growth of a portfolio of projects across all sectors.

· coordinate and manage project implementation in line with proposals, strategies, donor requirements, legal & regulatory obligations, due diligence guidelines and quality standards.

· ensure that the charity’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are of the highest quality and are adhered to fully.

· develop and deliver projects within agreed parameters and provide technical direction and project implementation support to partners.

· monitor programme expenditure to ensure budgets are observed.

· monitor and evaluate programme work to maintain and/or improve the quality of project outcomes for beneficiaries.

· ensure that the programmes are implemented in a consultative, participative, transparent, and gender-sensitive way.

· maintain and manage a donor reporting calendar to ensure the programme adheres to donor contractual requirements and provide high-quality and timely reporting that demonstrate the impact of their grants.

· ensure WA-UK representation in relevant external programmatic forums.

· prepare, submit and present proposals and concept notes to donors.

Supporting the board of trustees and reporting

The appointee will:

· service the board of trustees including preparation of necessary paperwork for trustee meetings and producing minutes;

· provide regular briefings (in writing/orally) to the board on program development, implementation and reporting;

· lead on the production of reports issued by and for the board including the annual report.

Main Responsibilities:

Leadership

1. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team and wider Senior Leadership Team, work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for the strategic management and leadership of the organisation.

2. Work closely with the CEO, Treasurer and Board of Trustees to facilitate good governance and risk management.

3. Manage, maintain and develop all financial systems and control; increasing their impact and quality, and implementing best practices in financial management.

4. To supervise finance assistants and ensure that they are adhering to financial code of practices.

Financial Management

1. Lead and manage all aspects of the financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset management, reserves & designated fund management and financial reporting.

2. Work with HR & Payroll Officer to manage and retain oversight of the day to day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general ledger maintenance, including the reconciliation of petty cash, credit cards and all bank accounts on a monthly basis reviewing and approving payment runs and payroll.

3. Work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to prepare the annual budgets and forecasts.

4. Lead and manage the provision of regular budget monitoring and reports to budget holders.

5. Assist with the budget preparation for funding bids. Manage, monitor and keep track of any grants, funding or commissioned income, working with relevant managers to provide relevant financial information for inclusion in monitoring reports.

6. Lead and manage the provision of quarterly financial reports to the Board and advise them on financial issues as appropriate

7. Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to inform and support organisational management, development and decision[1]making, and funding applications across the organisation.

8. Work with the CEO to prepare medium term financial forecasts for the organisation to support strategic decision-making and delivery of strategic priorities.

9. Lead on the audit process and the preparation of year end accounts to trial balance including preparation of the audit file and the closing down of the accounts on our accounting management system to ensure that the organisation is compliant with legal requirements and good practice.

10. To work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and designated Trustees to advise, review and cost the annual pay award.

11. To provide back-up and holiday cover for the processing of monthly payroll.

12. To work with and support the HR & Payroll Officer in providing payroll information and reconciling payroll monthly.

Governance and compliance

1. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. Companies House, HMRC and the Charity Commission).

2. Attend Trustee Board meetings to report on financial matters, including the identification and management of financial risk, and provide any relevant reports.

3. To support the Trustees, SLT and line managers in managing our finances carefully and within our financial means, through provision of advice, guidance, support and training.

4. To be the main point of contact with external auditors.

5. To ensure that robust financial controls are in place, underpinned by appropriate financial policies and procedures and to ensure that they are adhered to and that the organisation is protected from fraud and error.
