The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.

The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term financial viability of the charity and whilst we have a comprehensive product offer, we welcome innovation. The post holder will be expected to make suggestions and recommendations for NPD (new product development) and changes to our strategy that could make the products more attractive to parallel markets.

The purpose of the role is to drive and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy in order to support the work of Life. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the end-to-end experience of existing supporters as well as attaining new supporters.

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and leading the Individual Giving Team, the post holder will work closely with colleagues across the fundraising and marketing teams to; create, test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns, lead on Legacy (and in-memoriam giving) lottery and raffle and other income streams associated with individual giving. The post holder will be working to and reporting on ambitious income and expenditure targets and ensuring that supporters have a positive experience of the charity.

The postholder will lead a Donor Administration Manager to deliver on a positive donor/supporter experience with the aim of retention of current supporters for the long term as well as acquisition of new donors, maximising the potential of all of our supporters. It forms a central part of the overall fundraising strategy, with the ultimate aim of growing our individual giving income to increase the impact of the charity and benefit those needing support in pregnancy, pregnancy loss or in the early years of a baby.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop and implement a cohesive supporter journey strategy focussed on supporter needs and continuous re-engagement

· Champion best practice and stewardship with individual supporters

· Grow one-off donations and regular gifts and maximise the acquisition of new supporters through direct mail and digital marketing

· Co-ordinate all communications and messaging targeted at existing supporters

· Measure performance against campaigns and appeals

· Lead on marketing and communications around Legacy giving and the Legacy and In-Memoriam supporters journey

· Lead on other forms of individual giving income streams such as the lottery or raffles, horizon scanning for new opportunities

· Ensure that CRM data is used effectively across the charity

· Oversee the compliance of third party agencies to ensure activity is carried out in line with the values of Life, the Fundraising Code of Practice and the law

· Input fully into the wider fundraising strategy by working closely with fellow managers and the team as a whole

Information Management

 · Ensure data and information systems are up to date and provide an accurate picture of supporter segmentation, communications, preferences, permissions, requests, gifts and pledges

Personal and People Development

• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies. 
• Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership. 
• Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

Harris Hill has an opening for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join a health related charity for 3 months, but potentially longer to cover recruitment period.

Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. This will focus on the retention side. They will be recruiting permanently but need someone quite experienced to get the ball rolling on an interim basis.

As an IG Manager, you will be required to hit the ground running but also be quite hands on, ready to roll your sleeves up when needed. The role is hybrid based with one day per week in the office. About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. As the Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, reporting to the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement, working closely with the Supporter Engagement Manager and Digital Marketing Officer and wider marketing team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement products across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.

You will be responsible for the management of these products and campaigns, the planning and implementation of these campaigns in consultation with the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement. You will lead on the management and development of projects and campaigns to acquire and increase the value and loyalty of new and existing supporters across both digital and direct channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy: In collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement, develop a strategy for your portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns and projects. Contribute to the overall annual planning process and the direction for the Individual Giving & Engagement programme across cash giving, regular giving, prize-led, legacy and in-memory products and channels.
• Planning; Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement and Supporter Engagement Manager on the development of the acquisition programmes inc., contact, engagement, and lead generation strategies.
• Innovation & Product Development; Manage a continuous test and learn cycle of new channels based on audience insight and sector learnings and trends.
• Internal Stakeholder relationships: Brief, monitor and manage internal stakeholders’ relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects. Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and create plans for the cross-sell of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns across all existing audiences.
• External Stakeholder management: Account manage suppliers/agencies to maximise value and ROI for services and campaigns. Brief, manage and monitor performance of suppliers and where appropriate periodically review.
• Financial Management: In line with the strategy, produce commentary for annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for review and sign off by Head of Individual Giving and Engagement.

To be successful within this very exciting Individual Giving & Engagement Manager role, our client is looking for you to have proven experience and knowledge of;

• Developing, managing, and delivering Individual Giving Campaigns (acquisition and retention) across a variety of direct and digital channels and across a wide range of products, such as; single giving, regular giving campaigns across cause-led and prize-led campaigns.
• Project management of campaigns, developing, monitoring and evaluating acquisition and retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets. Reporting results and make recommendations to improve performance.
• Managing, monitoring, and reviewing external suppliers and agencies.
• Creative thinking and innovation in the development of processes, supporter communications and fundraising products.

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a Head of Individual Giving to oversee their individual donor, legacy and in memory income streams, currently raising approximately £800k per annum.

Prostate Cancer Research aims to develop and deliver breakthrough medicines and treatments to achieve a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. The charity believes that it is only through research that we can build a future in which no family will have to fear losing a loved one to prostate cancer. In the last four years the charity has expanded the amount of research it funds by four times.

This is a newly created role to increase the impact of the fundraising strategy, lead on its implementation and set the foundations for the future growth in an area of fundraising where the charity believes there is huge potential. It’s also an exciting opportunity to take the results of a current strategic review on individual giving and take the insight and tools gathered to build the individual giving programme and develop a strategy for people, products and campaigns to grow income.

The charity is seeking a professional with a great understanding and track record of success in individual giving and who is keen to explore new audiences and innovative approaches. You will have experience in executing acquisition, retention and growth strategies and of achieving significant income growth through individual donations, in memory and legacy income streams. You will also have strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to maximise new opportunities and help the charity achieves its organisational goals.
