You will ensure that our office runs smoothly, and that our key corporate and HR processes and procedures are carried out, comply with law and with our policies.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in East Sussex who support Young Carers, aged 5-18 years, who have caring responsibilities for someone in their family due to disability, long-term illness, mental health, or drug or alcohol misuse.

You will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments and providing short-term interventions that support Young Carers to improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing. This might be signposting to local services, action planning, one-to-one support, or our workshop programme.

Working closely with schools and Childrens Services, you will make referrals to a range of professionals and community services, ensuring whole family needs are met, and thereby reducing the impact of caring on the Young Carer.

As a CYP Coordinator, you will plan and deliver workshop sessions and activities, providing opportunities for Young Carers to spend time with their peers and recognise that they are not alone.

This is a full-time role delivering the service across Hastings & Rother and includes working occasionally at our Lamberhurst office. Some early evenings required. Own car essential.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of the College’s operational services, including estates and facilities, transport, health and safety, sustainability and contracted services. 

Role Responsibilities: 

Estates and Facilities management  

• Manage and monitor contracts for building and grounds maintenance, cleaning, hygiene, waste management and energy supply, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and agreed service levels. 

• Lead procurement processes for operational contracts, including tendering, evaluation, renewal and performance monitoring, ensuring value for money and strong contractor relationships. 

• Develop and maintain a rolling programme of planned and reactive maintenance, site inspections and condition surveys to ensure the estate is safe, accessible and fit for purpose. 

• Ensure full compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements relating to property and facilities. 

Transport 

• Manage the College’s transport fleet in line with Community Transport Association requirements. 

• Ensure all vehicles are legally compliant, well maintained and efficiently utilised. 

• Ensure drivers are appropriately authorised, trained and compliant with statutory and College requirements. 

Health and Safety 

• Act as the operational lead for health and safety across the College. 

• Maintain and regularly review health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments and compliance documentation. 

• Work collaboratively with the Health and Safety Coordinator to deliver training, guidance and support to staff. 

• Ensure statutory inspections and testing (including fire safety, water quality and electrical safety) are completed and recorded. 

Sustainability 

• Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to reduce usage and improve environmental sustainability. 

• Ensure waste management and disposal processes meet environmental legislation and promote recycling and responsible resource use. 

Leadership 

• Line manage the operations team, including estates, transport and health and safety staff. 

• Develop and implement effective operational procedures to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the College. 

• Manage operational budgets and contribute to financial planning and cost control. 

• Contribute to College-wide planning and improvement initiatives through collaborative working with senior leaders and managers. 

Management Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all
channels and marketing materials and encourage the wider team to do the same.

supporters database meets GDPR and Fundraising Regulation requirements.

BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has space to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.

We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer and reflections spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer and reflection spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to cover adoption leave, likely for one year. This is a vital role in keeping BeSpace running smoothly and enabling our small but growing team to thrive. You will also, where needed, play a hands-on role in supporting churches and schools in our work. 

In this role, you will:

• Take responsibility for key operational processes including recruitment, HR, and volunteer management systems — not only maintaining them effectively but actively seeking ways to innovate and strengthen them, with guidance and support from senior leaders. 
• Manage finance administration, including donations, CRM (Beacon), and Gift Aid claims.
• Project manage BeSpace events and provide admin support to the team.
• Develop and maintain systems for impact tracking, GDPR compliance, and volunteer management.

• Where needed, support on-the-ground delivery of retreats and prayer and reflection spaces in schools.

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a painful, lifelong inflammatory condition affecting around 1 in  people. Despite this, awareness remains low and diagnosis is often delayed.

ASIF brings together 60 patient organisations across 48 countries to raise awareness, strengthen patient voices and improve understanding of axSpA globally. We are a small, fully remote team who care deeply about the work we do and about working supportively and collaboratively with one another.

We are now looking for an organised, proactive and thoughtful Project Co-ordinator/ Operations Assistant to help us deliver a major international online research study, while also supporting our wider activities.

This is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful - research that will help shape advocacy, awareness and understanding for people living with inflammatory arthritis around the world.

• 70–80% supporting an ambitious international research project·
• 20–30% supporting ASIF’s wider operations

The role is full-time and permanent. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).

We are looking for a Societies Development Coordinator to provide accurate, consistent and innovative support to the 400+ clubs and societies, committees and volunteers. They will support the delivery of a variety of student led events and activities, empowering and enabling student leaders. This role will put students’ experience at the forefront of everything we do, focusing on providing excellent management of stakeholder relationships, problem solving and risk management with student activities.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly numerate, well-organised person to support our finance and operations functions, being vital to the smooth and effective running of the organisation and contributing to some client projects. 

You will provide a vital link between our finances and the wider organisation, bringing an operational understanding of our projects to support our effective financial administration. This role also enables our practice delivery team by supporting our business development and external communications. All of this work will require a high level of attention to detail and adept prioritisation and organisational skills.

Job responsibilities 

You will be supported by and work closely with the Director of Organisational Development & Operations (OD & Ops) and will liaise with our external accountants.

In a varied role you will respond to the needs of your colleagues, clients and the organisation. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Finances

• Accuracy - ensure we have complete and accurate organisational financial records and information

• Improvement focus - identify, develop and implement improvements to our financial and operational processes and systems

• Communication - be the first point of contact internally and with our clients with queries, supporting us to get paid in a timely way

• Cashflow management - manage our invoicing schedule and sending out invoices; tracking our expected payments

Operations

• Project management support - eg. during contracting, project set-up, monitoring against budgets, project closures and supporting with any reporting or analysis

• Information clarity and accuracy - for our projects on our project platform 

• IT point of contact - with our IT agency and for our team; set up new users or devices

• Data management - support the Director of OD & Ops to ensure we adhere with our data processing obligations under GDPR and manage our systems and information securely

Organisational responsibilities

• Business development support - monitor opportunities, contribute to bids and proposals through research, compiling information, proof reading, developing budgets and project visuals

• External communications - keep our website up-to-date with new posts; coordinate Collaborate’s LinkedIn posts

• Values-alignment - contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture, contributing and sharing insights, and reflecting Collaborate’s values of purpose, equity, learning, relationships and trust through all aspects of your work

Skills and experience we are looking for:

We don't expect that you will already have experience of doing all of the tasks above. We believe in appointing based on potential rather than simply on past performance. You should have some demonstrable experience in the skills below, which could come from a combination of work, voluntary and/or personal experiences. 

You will be supported by and work closely with the Director OD & Ops and will work alongside our external accountants, all of which will support your ongoing learning and development.

• working with numerical data/finance, on Excel and/or databases

• coordinating operational processes, with some project management

• Meticulous attention to detail will be required, whether checking financial data or checking our website for typos

• Excellent organisational skills, being able to prioritise effectively and sequence tasks and activities to improve efficiency and the quality of outcomes

• Ability to work independently and able to take responsibility for tasks through to completion

• Salary: £30-£33,000 pro rata

• 6-month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended

• Location: we’re a London-based office in SE1, open to hybrid working arrangements, with at least one day in the office per week

This is a key enabling role within a small, relational and values-led organisation. The Administrative Coordinator will provide coordinating and administrative support across the Network, helping ensure smooth systems, high-quality financial administrative and shared working practices across a dispersed team. 

You will be a highly organised and dependable administrator, with experience supporting finance and digital systems, and a clear commitment to social justice and relational ways of working. 

Key tasks include:

• Coordinating meetings, events and trustee processes 

• Providing hands-on finance administration, including bookkeeping using Xero 

• Supporting digital systems, CRM and data stewardship 

• Maintaining accurate records and shared documentation

As Community Project Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team overseeing the efficient day-to-day operation of our Pet Food Bank project and wider community-based initiatives. Working closely with the Community Project Lead, you will help deliver projects that improve the lives of people and pets, with dignity at the heart of everything we do. This includes supporting a national network of pet food banks and partners, increasing awareness of Blue Cross, and ensuring practical, compassionate support reaches pet owners in short term crisis.

More about the role

This is a home-based role within Oxfordshire, ideally located within one hour of our Burford offices, as you will be required to travel to Burford on a weekly basis to manage deliveries at our Warehouse. Due to the rural location and less frequent public transport, travelling by car is often the most practical option. While the role is home based, you will be contractually attached to the Burford site. Travel to Burford will therefore be treated as normal commuting and expenses will not be payable for travel to this site.

Working across a defined geographic region, you will support the development and smooth running of the Pet Food Bank project and other community initiatives. This will involve close collaboration with pet food banks, suppliers, local authorities, community groups and volunteers to ensure effective coordination, communication and logistics.

You will secure donations of pet food and services, oversee the movement of food and equipment, and regularly travel to food bank partners and other organisations. A key part of the role involves liaising with volunteers and colleagues by phone and in person, ensuring everyone is supported, informed and working together effectively.

Alongside core project delivery, you will support the planning, preparation and delivery of a large-scale summer event in June 2026, working in partnership with one of our corporate partners. This event will play an important role in expanding our outreach and support for pet owners in need. You will also provide essential administrative support, contribute to reporting, and help deliver a clear and effective communication plan to support project and event activity.

Occasional travel to other partner organisations or Blue Cross locations will be required. Travel to locations other than your attached Burford site will be claimable in line with Blue Cross expenses policy.

You will act as a positive ambassador for Blue Cross, ensure policies and procedures are followed, and support the Community Project Lead with income delivery and media activity where required.
