Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. While carrying out activities, Bank Support Workers should deal with all customers, visitors and staff in a professional and appropriate manner and report to Look Ahead staff and management any observations relating to customers' welfare.
What you'll do:
Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers
Conducting key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
Proactively manage risk and safety both in and outside of their physical living environment
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
Report any observations relating to customers welfare
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local area to provide a range of engagement opportunities for customers in the community

Barnardo's Bewick Road Service is excited to offer an opportunity for a qualified social worker to join the Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Centre at James Cook University Hospital, Teesside. This part-time role offers the chance to develop your social work skills within an established and supportive multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The position also includes flexible working options Monday to Friday (working over 3 days), with ongoing support and training provided.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have at least three years' post-qualification experience working with vulnerable children or adults, and be registered with Social Work England (or equivalent). A full UK driving licence is required.
Main Duties:
The CF social worker will provide support to children with Cystic Fibrosis, their families, and carers, focusing on the social aspects of care. The service covers a large geographical area, including Teesside, Redcar and Cleveland, and Durham, with the role based at James Cook University Hospital.

- Attending outpatient clinic appointments, inpatient ward admissions, and conducting home visits to assess and follow up on community-based needs.

- This person is autistic and has ADHD. She has a positive self-identify around these diagnoses and celebrates being neurodivergent and being part of the neurodivergent community.
- This person has additional anxiety disorders that make her distressed by demands or feeling forced to do things, and this anxiety can lead to her not being able to communicate when she wants and needs to.
Under the direction from an advisory teacher with the input from the Psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy teams you will develop programmes of activity and provide these according to the young person's needs under the guidance of the team professionals.
You will provide advice, support and coaching for the young person and their family, under the guidance of the Therapy and Specialist Support (TSS) professionals. In addition you will attend meetings including MDT as required contributing to the young person's risk assessment and management plans ensuring that the young person is involved in their support planning wherever possible to facilitate their meaningful involvement in their progress.

Role Overview
ESU Competition Leads host our ESU competitions, including the ESU Schools’ Mace Debating Competition, the ESU Public Speaking Competition and the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition. The ESU Competition Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of events (heats) throughout the competitions, with duties including Zoom hosting and MCing. If required, Competition Leads may sit on the judges’ panel and provide constructive feedback to students and teachers participating. You will also support and provide guidance for our volunteer judges, ensuring they have a positive experience while volunteering with the ESU. Responsibilities
For all competitions you will:
- Support and promote the charitable objectives of the ESU, acting as an ambassador for the organisation
- Assist the ESU Competitions Team in ensuring competition heats run smoothly and act as point of contact for schools and volunteers on the day of heats
- MC or compere Zoom and in-person heats, engaging both students and audience whilst following ESU scripts
- Be the technical host for Zoom ESU competition heats, setting up and hosting Zoom meetings, creating break-out rooms and acting as tech support throughout heats

NAPAC provides the only free national support service for adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse. We offer specialist, confidential support to all adult survivors of any type of abuse, operated by experienced staff and trained volunteers.
NAPAC works closely with the criminal justice and public health sectors. We support survivors to navigate and understand their options with criminal and civil law, and in healing and recovery. Choice is key, and our website provides a lot of free information for survivors and those supporting them.
As a trusted public-health organisation, people use NAPAC’s services to support their overall health and wellbeing, to build and improve their resilience, and to be able to make brave, positive choices every day – including asking for help when they need it.
Those using our services ask for support with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, isolation, navigating relationships, dissociative identity disorder, reporting to the police, domestic and sexual violence, boundaries, and complex post-traumatic stress. The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. The museum is building a new strategy that will lead its transformation over the next 10 years as it tests out innovative new models for exhibitions, displays, learning and engagement, building towards a new permanent site and dynamic operational model. Learning and engagement are central to the museum’s future. This new role will support the learning and engagement team by coordinating bookings, marketing and communications for the team.
Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We are looking for someone passionate about our potential to coordinate the day-to-day running of the learning team as we move forward to the next phase of the Jewish Museum London.
Reporting to the Head of Learning the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the team can effectively deliver programmes for schools, families and communities as well as taking a lead on communicating the museum’s activity through social media, newsletters and the website.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The main role of the Learning and Communications Coordinator will be to administrate the activities of the learning department, in particular our flagship programme of schools workshops both in person and digitally. Our mission as a charity is to create brighter todays and better tomorrow for the children and families of Noah’s Ark. The Sparkle Fund plays a vital role in the first part of that mission, creating brighter days for inpatient families by delivering our ‘over and above’ service on the wards. Due to the popularity and success of this project and following a very successful The Big Give campaign in December 2024, we are looking to expand the team.
There are many ways in which you will be providing joy, fun and moments of sparkle to the patients and families in the hospital. The role is very varied, and no two days are the same! In any given week you could be organising hospital wide activities for Easter, celebrating a birthday with a long-term patient, arranging for a massage therapist to provide a break for parents, and distributing essentials packs for a family arriving to hospital in an emergency.

Responsible to: Head of Helplines
Salary: £19.06 per hour (For those living in London, £20.86 per hour)
Hours: 3 hours fixed per month and additional ad hoc hours where required due to service needs; operating hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Job type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026, with a possibility to extend, subject to funding.

About the role:
Respect is seeking one Helpline Advisor to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.
You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.
About you:
- An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
- An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse
- An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships
- Experience of providing information, advice, and support by telephone, email and webchat in a helpline environment
- A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

About the Role:
This role is based in Bedfordshire with consideration given to hybrid working.
As a Triage and Early Intervention Officer you will be:
- Providing high quality support to victims of domestic abuse across Bedfordshire
- Working closely with our team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA), providing support as required
- Making initial contact with service users referred into our service, identifying any immediate risks and offering crisis intervention
- Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records.
About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
You will need:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
- Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

About the role:
This role is based at our Birmingham office with the option of hybrid working from home. Travel across the area is required, travelling time is within working hours & expenses are reimbursed. The hours for this role are Monday and Tuesday 8am to 4pm, and Wednesday 12noon to 8pm
As a Caseworker you will:
