About the Role

We are seeking a confident, experienced and mission-driven Communications & Content Senior Manager to join Bite Back on a fixed-term parental leave cover contract. This role will take on the leadership of Bite Back's content and communications function during a critical and exciting time. You'll be stepping into an award winning, insight-led, youth-centred organisation that is transforming the way food system campaigning is done in the UK.

This role requires a bold and dynamic communicator who can lead storytelling, oversee content strategy, and guide a high-performing team to deliver integrated campaigns across our owned and earned channels. We’re looking for someone with a strong editorial eye, people management skills, and the confidence to lead in cross-organisational settings. You’ll work closely with our campaigners, young spokespeople, and senior team to ensure we continue delivering creative, culturally relevant and impactful communications.

The Comms & Content Senior Manager will be responsible for leading our creative storytelling. They will oversee the production of high quality content for all of Bite Back’s channels and communications moments. They will be a strong leader, serving as a guardian for our brand narrative and upskilling the team to deliver high quality content tailored to the channels and audiences that will advance Bite Back’s impact. They will support the Head of Communications with the execution of Bite Back’s overarching communications strategy, ensuring our content and media coverage consistently contribute to our brand and campaigns objectives.

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational growth and strategic goals

• Lead all fundraising streams, prioritising the development of our relationships with trusts & foundations and corporate partnerships

• Agree on income targets, KPIs, and a robust pipeline to meet current and future funding needs

• Report to the CEO and Board on fundraising performance, risks, and opportunities

Trusts, Foundations & Grants

• Identify and develop opportunities for major grants and philanthropic funding (including from Government stakeholders) and then cultivate and sustain relationships with donors

• Write compelling funding applications and impact reports to secure and retain grant income

• Maintain relationships with key funders and proactively seek multi-year funding opportunities

Corporate Partnerships

• Identify and secure high-value corporate partnerships aligned with The Cyber Helpline’s mission and values

• Develop innovative, mutually beneficial partnership packages, including sponsorship, pro bono support, and employee engagement

• Enable corporations to fundraise for our mission

• Build a sustainable corporate pipeline through networking, stewardship, and thought leadership

Individual Giving & Community Engagement

• Build an individual giving programme, exploring opportunities for regular giving, campaigns, digital fundraising and major donors

• Support the development of community fundraising and challenge events with long-term potential

• Work with the comms team to create engaging supporter journeys and fundraising content

• Engaging our team members - and their networks - to engage in fundraising activity

Internal Leadership & Collaboration

• Work with the CEO and leadership team to embed a fundraising mindset across the organisation

• Collaborate with operations and finance to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and grant management

• With Board approval, Recruit and Line manage fundraising staff and/or freelance support as resources permit

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old or older and resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK. 
Successful candidates will need to have their background and criminal records checked, as they are likely to have access to sensitive personal data. 

Essential

• Proven experience of achieving significant fundraising goals, ideally in a small-to-medium charity environment

• Strong commercial and financial acumen

• Track record of securing five- or six-figure income from trusts, foundations, or corporations

Job Title: Training Facilitator

Location: Our central office in Islington, just a 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station. We work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of two days a week spent in the office or at one of our services, along with regular travel to various sites across both inner and outer London. About the role

We have an exiting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join our Talent Development team, part of the wider People and Culture team here at SIG! In this role, you’ll oversee and deliver our specialised training programmes for our staff, residents, participants, and external parties. The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats, and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative ESOL consultant to join our team and lead on the curriculum development and delivery of our ESOL for Work courses. This role sits across our Education & Training and Research & Impact teams and offers a unique opportunity to shape future ESOL provision for people in low-paid work.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a core strand of our community education offer. Each year, we support over 200 learners to improve their English, build confidence, and engage more fully in community life. Many of our learners face significant barriers to mainstream education, particularly those juggling low-paid, insecure employment. In 2023, in partnership with The Bell Foundation, we launched a three-year research and delivery programme focused on improving access to ESOL for people in work. The project aims to better understand the structural and practical barriers faced by working learners, and to codesign inclusive, flexible models of delivery that can influence and shape future ESOL provision across the UK.

Now in its second year, the programme is expanding. We are developing new partnerships with employers in sectors such as hospitality, construction, and health and social care, and growing our flexible ESOL-for-work pilot offers. Through these pilots, you will also play an essential role in helping us to generate new insights and learning about what works and why.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about adult education, committed to equity and access, and excited to explore new ways of delivering ESOL. This is a pivotal moment for FAST as the need for our work has expanded due to more young people falling into poverty and struggling in schools. As a member of MTL’s senior management team, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s growth and outward facing initiatives. The successful candidate will be experienced in providing executive and administrative support to leaders, ideally within a similar organisation or setting. They will demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic, and will have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with a broad range of colleagues and use tact, discretion, influence and diplomacy when required. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and short papers as well as take minutes of meetings. The ability to demonstrate political acumen and experience of providing company secretary/governance-type support is also desirable.

Established in 1997, Jigsaw4u provide a range of services for children, young people, families and vulnerable adults experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties across South West London. Jigsaw4u has experienced considerable growth and development over the past several years. Jigsaw4u’s Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) have recognised the need for dedicated staffing resource to hold the day-to-day responsibility for the service management function as part of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Operations Support

• Guide and assist ISEAL staff in using software tools effectively by leading inductions, writing guidance, sharing best practice, providing training and trouble-shooting issues that arise
