YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external professionals. A strong understanding of the apprenticeship and graduate development programmes, and talent pipelines.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and maintain consistent follow-up.
- Confident in presenting to clients, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (HR, L&D, operational teams, senior leadership).
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experienced in LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and building connections within early careers networks.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Secure mainly new and some key repeat business to meet personal, and team, quarterly and annual targets.
- Lead on developing new partnerships within key industry sectors for Apprentice, Graduate, and Emerging Leader programmes.
- Undertake client learning needs analysis to understand early career development goals and challenges.
- Produce compelling proposals that align Outward Bound programmes with organisational objectives.
- Represent Outward Bound at early careers events, conferences, and employer network sessions.
- Maintain accurate client records via our CRM system and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
- Liaise with internal delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities are maximised.
- Drive new business through research, networking, referrals, and sector insights.

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000, salary depending on experience

Job overview
Remuneration: day rate £250-350 for 8 hours depending on experience, anticipated 4-5 days per month.

Role description
The Fundraising/Partnership Development Officer will
· Manage the development and implementation of Friendship’s fundraising, partnership development, and partnership management activities in the UK
· Build a fundraising strategy that incorporates a range of activities and income streams, together with the Friendship International UK Board
· Develop a concrete action plan and core indicators or targets for fundraising in the UK on quarterly basis, which is to be presented to the Friendship International UK Board.

About the role
You will be part of the regional office team, managing a group of casework administrators. The team provides specialist administrative support and act as a single point of contact to SSAFA branch-based volunteers ensuring that SSAFA beneficiaries receive consistent, timely, and high-quality service. The RCM role will involve developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with volunteers, including branch-based casework managers. Additionally, the RCM will occasionally assist the Regional Casework Co-ordinators with call handling, signposting, and triaging initial client enquiries.
To help you establish yourself in this post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. You will influence the processes and procedures within the regional office as it develops, working closely with a dedicated team under the guidance of the Regional Manager.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North West region consisting of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Isle of Man, Lancashire and Merseyside. You will occasionally be required to travel within the North West Region or to other locations.
About the team
The regional office is a “virtual” office and supports the six SSAFA branches in the North West of England region, as the branch-based volunteers deliver casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include 5 Casework Administrators and a Regional Manager. All team members are home based, residing in the region.
About you
To excel in this role, you should have a solid educational background and experience in managing employees, as well as overseeing and reporting on service delivery. You should have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, achieving results through negotiation and influence. Previous experience of working with volunteers would be advantageous. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard and be capable of learning a computerised case management system quickly. Additionally, you should be skilled with numerical data.
The successful candidate will be capable of planning and managing their own workload, with minimal supervision and have considerable experience of managing accounts.
It would be desirable to have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. An understanding of the voluntary sector would be valuable, and the military charity sector landscape across the North West Region would be beneficial. In line with our income generation strategy:
· Lead on the strategic planning and implementation of income generation activities to help build sustainability of The Carers’ Centre and its services for 19,600 unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.
· Develop and implement a stewardship programme for donors and funders building support and securing new income for The Carers’ Centre.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver The Carers’ Centre vision for carers.
Income generation
· Design and deliver a diverse income generation plan to support philanthropy and fundraising in line with The Carers’ Centre Strategic Plan.
· Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.
· Build long-lasting relationships with key local philanthropists, donors, and funders.
· Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.
· Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.
· Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.

Our team
We're looking for a compassionate, self-starting individual who is tenacious, goal-oriented, and target-driven with a make it happen mentality, because they know the impact growing this movement will have on thousands of people's lives.
This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.
As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.
You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. You'll need to be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven ability to build a robust pipeline and deliver on growth targets, specifically around Debt Centre growth motivated by our desire to help more people out of debt and poverty and see them become followers of Jesus.
Partnership Development Manager Scope
- The team is split between full time and part time PDMs.
- Significant amount of travel with large regions to cover.
- This role has no direct reports.
- In line with our expenses policy, all expenses (e.g. mileage costs) are claimed retrospectively via our CAP Expenses system.
Role:
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
- Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
- To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region.
- To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
- Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre.
- To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
- Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
- To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities.
- To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
- To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.
- To advocate and make introductions where appropriate for Church talks, CCT and fundraising opportunities.
- Where appropriate, to represent Partnership Development in additional projects which improve the delivery and content of CAP's products and services.

THE ROLE:
The Service Manager plays a central role in ensuring that every young person who engages with Empire Fighting Chance receives high-quality, personalised support.
In this role, you will ensure that every young person who connects with Empire Fighting Chance receives an outstanding experience. You will oversee the full journey of young people through our programmes. From referral and assessment to onboarding, scheduling and progression. You will ensure their experience is safe and impactful.
You will champion a safety-aware culture across the organisation, embedding safeguarding into everyday practice and leading on case management and risk mitigation. This role is key to building a strong operational foundation for our Centre of Excellence in Bristol. Through strategic management, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will help shape an environment where young people feel safe, supported and empowered.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Manage the recruitment of young people
Accountable for the recruitment of suitable young people onto the programmes of Empire Fighting Chance.
- Implement a robust referral criteria process to ensure that Empire Fighting Chance targets the young people that it best supports.Contribute to the development of a ‘bank’ of recommended organisations to share with those young people who do not meet the charity’s referral criteria.

2. Manage the triaging and scheduling of young people
Accountable for ensuring young people participate in the right programme with the right coach mentor or therapist at the right time.

- Identify new approaches to managing the charity’s waiting list, ensuring the programmes can meet their needs and offer the correct resources to support them.

3. Manage a safety aware culture

4. Manage young people’s ‘Empire Experience’

- Identify and implement improvements to The Mill boxing gym to ensure that young people feel safe and have an enjoyable experience (while retaining the look and feel of a real boxing gym).
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure that young people have the best possible start to their Empire experience.
- Work alongside the Head of Programmes and Community Outreach Manager to develop a ‘bank’ of local organisations and services that young people can be referred onto during or after their programme. Ensure this information is shared with coaches and therapists so they can communicate it to the young person.
- Oversee the offboarding process that will support young people to continue their development after leaving Empire Fighting Chance (e.g. resources and pathways for young people – internally and externally).
- Use data and insights from young people to improve their experience.
5. Manage the provision of family liaison/support
Accountable for providing support to parents/carers of young people.
- Work alongside the Family Liaison Officer to enhance the information, advice, guidance and support provided to parents and carers to ensure young people engage with their programme.
- Oversee the development of practices and interventions that can provide support to parents and carers that will, in turn, have benefits for young people.
6. Line management of a team
Provide strategic direction to a small team in a supportive manner.
- Provide clear direction, support and motivation to team members, ensuring the Centre of Excellence objectives and the experience of young people is central to all decision making.
- Set clear performance goals and expectations for each function area within the operations team to ensure EFC programmes are operating to the highest standards and at optimal capacity.

Governance Manager (12-months maternity cover)
About the role
This is an exciting time to join Emmaus UK and provide maternity cover for our Governance Manager.
This standalone role is responsible for managing the operations of the board and committees of Emmaus UK, as well as for providing support to local boards at Emmaus communities across Great Britain as they look to develop their governance arrangements.
The postholder will manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, induction and compliance, ensuring meetings run smoothly and are minuted effectively. They will also work as company secretary, managing the smooth-running of the AGM, and ensuring returns are made to Companies House and the Charity Commission within appropriate timeframes.
The Governance Manager is responsible for monitoring the development of policies, tracking completion and working with managers to continuously improve policies in line with changing regulation.
The role will also involve extensive work with members of the Emmaus movement, through the performance of reviews of local governance of members, reporting back to local boards on areas to celebrate and actions to develop. They will also be responsible for developing Emmaus UK’s best practice toolkit for trustees to refer to in developing their local governance arrangements, and for liaising with the wider Emmaus movement through facilitation of the membership processes with Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International.
