We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to grow fundraising income for the Choral Foundation in support of the music of the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace. The new Development Manager will be expected to develop the current fundraising landscape and be able to work across a range of fundraising specialisms. They will work closely with the Chair of the Choral Foundation, the Director of Music at the Chapel Royal and stakeholders across the partner  organisations, including Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) and the Royal Household.

The role

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is looking to appoint a senior fundraising and development professional to support our ambitious, global mission to democratise computing and AI education for all young people. 

Reporting to the Vice President for Global Development, and working closely with the Chief Executive and other members of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding partnerships with corporates, foundations, and individual high net worth donors. You will also lead on developing bids for contracts for educational services with government departments and agencies. 

While this role is based in the UK, you will be part of a global fundraising team and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our work all over the world. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you will manage a small team of fundraising and development specialists. 

The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful fundraising and partnership development, ideally in the education sector. You will have a deep understanding of the funding landscape, particularly in the UK, although experience of working in other markets will be a distinct advantage. You will ideally have some experience of bidding for government contracts. You should have experience of building and supporting teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with the VP of Global Development to develop and implement the Foundation's fundraising and development strategy to support the delivery of our strategy and business plan. 
• Proactively develop a pipeline of funding prospects. 
• Develop and sustain long term relationships with partners, ensuring that they feel connected to our mission and impact. 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to develop proposals for support and bids for contracts, ensuring that they are aligned with our strategic goals, clearly articulated, and properly budgeted. 
• Monitor performance against grants and contracts, producing reports for funding partners and internal stakeholders as required. 
• Ensure that all fundraising activities are conducted in line with our values and agreed policies, including undertaking appropriate due diligence. 
• Ensure funding relationships, applications, stewardship, and reporting are appropriately documented on Salesforce.
• Lead a team of fundraising and development specialists, providing them with the clarity and support to enable them to do the best work of their careers. 
• Represent the Foundation externally with senior stakeholders, donors, partners, and influencers.

Our client is the UK's only theatre company and participatory arts charity focused on addiction. This charity develops, nurtures and produces new writing and performances connected to substance misuse, touring to off-West End venues, festivals, treatment facilities and other civic spaces. Senior Development Manager

Full time, 40 hours per week (open to part time, flexible working and job share)

Hybrid working (at least 50% office based in E1 5HU)

£40,000–£45,000 per annum

This is a newly created role, which will help take the charity's fundraising to the next level. The new Senior Development Manager will grow existing income (trusts, foundations and statutory) and develop newer income streams (individual giving and corporate partnerships). Supported by the charity's Artistic Director/CEO and an expert Development Subcommittee, the Senior Development Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy, securing five- and six-figure gifts and working towards an ambition to raise around £300,000 per year within the first two years. The role also includes oversight of regular supporter communications (including a monthly newsletter) and the use of tools such as Salesforce and Mailchimp, while keeping up to date with fundraising compliance, policy and sector trends.

To be successful, you will bring substantial experience of delivering significant fundraising targets, ideally in the arts or cultural, or social welfare sectors, and a strong track record of generating income from a mix of the income streams mentioned above. The role 

Art Explora UK is a small but entrepreneurial arts charity looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our dynamic team and help us implement a new fundraising strategy, and achieve our ambitious and exciting targets at a time of growth and opportunity.

This is a flexible part-time role for someone who is happy working independently, while liaising closely with the Director, Programme Heads and Trustees. On-boarding and hand-over will be with the current Fundraising Consultant. The Senior Development Manager will identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage funders and prospects, working across public sector, trusts, foundations and corporate supporters.  A particular focus will be on securing support for two high-profile, flagship programmes: Time Odyssey and the Mobile Museum, however there is significant potential to expand this scope of work.

The Senior Development Manager will be someone who thinks creatively, seizes opportunity and, with excellent inter-personal skills, brings experience, energy and drive to attract donors and prospects to the Charity’s exciting mission to innovate forms of engagement and increase access to arts and culture.

Specific Responsibilities

• Deliver against a 6-figure fundraising target, taking responsibility for a cohort of prospects, with a focus on trusts, foundations, public sector and corporate partners.

• Write compelling proposals/applications and reports for trusts and foundations, to engage supporters and demonstrate the impact of our work.

• Collaborate with colleagues, in particular the Director and Programme Heads, to source programme information, schedule meetings/calls with prospects, writing excellent briefing notes in advance.

• Adhere to best practice in prospect cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, and ensure the due diligence policies in place are followed.

• Deliver the highest level of donor care through excellent communication skills: building rapport with prospects and donors, and ensuring correspondence is appropriate and consistent.

• Set up and deliver cultivation events for prospects and donors that highlight the work of Art Explora and associated opportunities to support.

• Work closely with press/marketing to ensure messaging and brand identity is aligned.

We are seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to help grow our partnerships, revenue streams, and membership community.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious business development professional to take ownership of revenue generation and strategic relationships across BAAPS Charity and BAAPS Support. You’ll work closely with the internal team and senior leadership to deliver strong commercial results while supporting impactful work within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships & Sponsorships

• Identify, develop and nurture revenue generating partnerships through meetings and proposal development
• Manage sponsorship packages, ensuring delivery of benefits and strong relationship management
• Maintain accurate lead tracking and report monthly performance against KPIs
• Generate and implement new commercial opportunities

Finance & Reporting

• Oversee financial elements of sponsorship and partnership agreements, including chasing payments
• Ensure accurate financial documentation via Xero/CRM
• Support responsible budget management and revenue forecasting

Membership Growth & Engagement

• Drive membership recruitment for BAAPS Support
• Work collaboratively to enhance membership benefits, communications and retention
• Ensure effective promotion of all member-related services and offers

Marketing & Communications

• Support the planning and execution of campaigns across multiple channels
• Promote events, partnerships, products and other business activities
• Assist in creating marketing assets including collateral and digital content
• Maintain strong links with relevant Associations for cross-promotion and collaboration

Administration & Operations

• Prepare and manage proposals, sponsorship agreements, invoicing and document handling
• Provide support with meeting coordination and general office administration
• Assist with stock and marketing material ordering and organisational upkeep
• Maintain compliance with data protection policies

Technology & Systems

• Support updates and maintenance across BAAPS websites and CRM
• Confidently handle remote meeting systems and internal software tools

Who We’re Looking For
You will:

• Be commercially minded with proven business development experience
• Have excellent relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
• Show creativity in identifying new revenue streams and engagement opportunities
• Be organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Bring strong IT literacy (CRM, MS Office; knowledge of Xero advantageous)
• Appreciate the professionalism and sensitivity required in a healthcare related organisation
