About the role:
The Achieving Potential programme at SHP supports SHP clients with options and opportunities to build their confidence, learn new skills and try new things. We are recruiting to an exciting new post within our team, having recently secured funding to take forward our digital inclusion offer.
People experiencing homelessness are often from the most socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are digitally excluded. Digital access is crucial for peoples’ independence – e.g. accessing Universal Credit or GPs, but it’s also fundamental in addressing isolation and loneliness. Feeling connected to others can be the difference between someone continuing their journey out of homelessness or falling back into drug-use due to isolation/loneliness – we want to break the vicious cycle between digital and social exclusion.
As the Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator, your objectives will be to spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing digital inclusion within SHP’s diverse communities. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strategic planning, community engagement, technological proficiency, and environmental stewardship. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders from both withing SHP and externally to develop and implement sustainable solutions that bridge the digital divide and minimize the environmental impact of electronic waste.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in community outreach, project management, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in the fields of digital inclusion, sustainability, or social justice.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse audiences and communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities to identify barriers, develop innovative solutions, and address complex challenges related to digital exclusion and e-waste management.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties such as ensuring that we have a database that is organised, up to date and fit for purpose.

The Fundraising Manager will build positive relationships to secure significant income and develop new relationships specifically with churches and individuals, bringing in regular and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. Main duties and responsibilities
Fundraising Overview
1. Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
2. Maximise the contributions and connections with local churches and individuals.
3. Coordinate all Appeals including the Pecan and Foodbank Christmas fundraising campaigns and Big Give Campaigns across all income and media streams.
4. Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities across Pecan such as Payroll Giving, Legacies, in Memory Giving and Online Giving.
Supporter Engagement and Stewardship
1. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan’s supporters.
2. To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all supporters and managing complaints and issues, ensuring they are reported centrally within agreed procedures, that they are resolved or escalated as necessary and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes.
4. Develop and implement stewardship programmes including reactivation of lapsed donors.
Database Management
1. Assist with setting up our CRM database with responsibility of developing and maintaining the database, ensuring efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
2. Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
3. Train other staff members to be able to use the database sufficiently.
4. Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.
5. Reconcile fundraising income with the Finance Manager, including Gift Aid claims, missed, failed payments and Direct Debit cancellations.
Individual Giving
1. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
2. Lead all individual giving streams such as direct mail appeals, online donations, regular campaigns and appeals to maximise income generation.
3. Work with the Marketing Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.
4. Develop campaigns and messaging that engages new segments and audiences.
Church Giving
1. Inspire churches to journey with us as we transform lives in Peckham.
2. Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark.
3. Work strategically with denominations to inspire partnership and engagement with Pecan across their networks and congregations.
4. Build a team of speakers who will host and speak at meetings with churches and Christian networks in Southwark.
5. Be willing to represent Pecan at external events, including Christian exhibitions and festivals, church talks etc…
6. Increase income from churches.
Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns
1. Work alongside teams and Partnerships Manager to project manage fundraising appeals and campaigns including Pecan at 35yrs; Christmas Campaigns etc.
2. Overall responsibility for Big Give Campaigns.
3. Oversight of Enthuse campaign pages.
4. Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the Partnerships Manager, to explain the work of Pecan to potential company supporters.
5. Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside Partnerships Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses; individuals and churches.
Staff and Volunteers
1. Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropiate.
2. Management of a part time Partnerships Manager with responsibility.
3. Work closely with Head of Services and Head of Food Services to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.
Wider organisational responsibilities
· Attend Pecan team meetings as and when required, including meetings where there may be a time of prayer and reflection.
· Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
· Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Services.
· Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of the Pecan team.

Digital Marketing Manager
Working with the Head of Brand and Marketing the successful candidate for this role will work to implement a new digital acquisition and engagement strategy for the charity’s work and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and maximise digital marketing opportunities to meet the charity’s objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, you will be responsible for development and delivery of the organisational digital marketing strategy and plans including leading on all digital aspects of Butterfly Conservation marketing campaigns including its hero campaign Wild Spaces and Big Butterfly Count. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day digital marketing channels including social media, email marketing, websites, SEO, PPC, championing a digital first approach making evidence led decisions to ensure Butterfly Conservation is at the forefront of digital marketing trends. You will be responsible for analysing performance of digital marketing campaigns and making insight led decisions and recommendations, presenting your finding to internal stakeholders.

About this role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional, with a proven track record of income generation and a strong ability to develop impactful relationships with the skills to bring aligned individuals and organisations into our long-term EduSpots community. The post holder will be creative, passionate and self-motivated, with strong marketing and communications skills, able to design and implement strategic fundraising approaches.

The Network Systems Manager maintains an overview of all DCS (Data Collection System) related activity and is responsible for ensuring that the development, maintenance and technical changes are conducted succinctly and delivered successfully in line with strategic goals across the entire organisation.
Role responsibilities

To design and deliver a roadmap for the development of the Data Collection System, in line with the Trussell Trust’s strategic goals, and in collaboration with key stakeholders.

To manage the acquisition of DCS projects/changes, assessing value to different user groups using qualitative and quantitative analytical data to plan future support and development requirements of the system

Project management of large scale changes to the DCS and related systems, including the creation of project documentation, providing a consistent and accessible monitoring process for internal stakeholders.

To maintain and provide expert knowledge of the DCS across the organisation monitoring and reporting on key changes and development, user performance, stakeholder feedback and data requests.

To work closely with the Network Services Manager in; providing a point of escalation for user and team technical support; offering support to project leads in the communicating of changes, development, testing and implementation of DCS-related activity.

Manage the day to day relationship with the system developers (Bit Zesty) to ensure support hours are appropriately used to maintain, update and fix bugs, and that all work (including projects) is delivered within budget and in a timely manner.

Provide leadership, direction, support and line management. This will include regular 1:1s and annual reviews to ensure objectives and key results are met.

We are thrilled to again be partnering with a well known children's health charity to support the recruitment of a new Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition)
What’s on offer:
- A competitive Salary - £37,000 - £42,000 (Depending on experience)

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for reaching new supporters, developing and implementing engaging and innovative marketing activities that attract a range of new donors for the charity. They will use a variety of channels including digital, face-to-face and DRTV, and work with teams across the charity to ensure the impact of all activity is maximised.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies create and review plans to deliver strategies within agreed income and cost thresholds, generating sustainable year on year growth.
- Working with the finance business partner prepare financial business cases to drive the development of the supporter acquisition strategy. Make the case for new fundraising methods with clear understanding of ROI, supporter acquisition cost, and channel payback models.
- Monitor performance against budget: ensure financial targets are met, monitor any shortfalls, and take remedial action as necessary.
- Experience of Individual Giving and acquisition programmes.
- Manage agency and supplier relationships - including with creative agencies, list brokers, media buyers, fulfilment houses and external professional fundraising organisations - to deliver agreed plans and campaigns.

Sue Ryder’s specialist teams are there when it matters, from caring for those with a terminal illness to helping others manage their grief. They provide expert care to people at the end of their lives whatever their health needs and do this from their seven specialist centres and in people’s homes. They also offer bereavement support nationally as well as campaign for change so that everyone who is approaching the end of their life or grieving has access to the right support, at the right time.
This is an exciting and integral role at Sue Ryder who are seeking an experienced legacy and in memory fundraiser to lead a programme that brings in c£7.5-8million a year. You will develop and implement an innovative fundraising strategy that is focused on sustainable growth and providing exceptional stewardship.
Legacy and in memory giving are both priority income streams for the charity; you will work across the charity to inspire and empower colleagues to promote these income streams among supporters, service users and their loved ones.
There are some exciting projects and campaigns on the horizon to get involved with, including a big campaign in the autumn and working with a brand agency to review their fundraising proposition.
About the role
As Senior Legacy and In Memory Manager, you will:
- be responsible for legacy and in memory income of between £7.5-8million a year;
- lead and manage the development, delivery and implementation of the legacy and in memory giving strategy to deliver sustainable long-term growth;
- oversee the legacy and in memory portfolio, ensuring excellent stewardship and communications to current and prospective donors;
- plan and deliver innovative marketing campaigns across a variety of channels;
- prepare robust reports for SMT/Trustees, analysing and sharing data insight;
- keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in legacy and in memory giving;
- provide management to a team of two – Legacy and In Memory Manager and Legacy and In Memory Executive.

- Demonstrable experience of legacy and in memory fundraising with a track record of delivering innovative marketing campaigns to grow income.

We are looking for someone with the skills and experience to manage the development of Brand focused digital media plans, from media planning through to implementation and end of campaign reporting. Key Roles and Duties
In this exciting role you will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels.
More specifically this will include:
Strategic Planning and Implementation
Plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:
- Increase individual gifts through enhancing the donor journey.
- Boost the monthly giving 'thrive fund' programme.
- Develop new individual giving campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across various channels.
Donor Data Analysis and Segmentation
Analyse and segment the supporter base to develop targeted supporter journeys and ask strategies, using donor data from our CRM (Salesforce) to:
- Maximise the lifetime value of donors.
- Ensure effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Stewardship and Donor Engagement
Manage donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications, including:
- Producing supporter materials.
- Building a thanking programme that offers a personal and engaging donor experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify individual stories for impactful campaign content.
- Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
- Maximise gift aid opportunities.
Campaign and Material Management
Work closely with the Communications Manager to:
- Create campaigns.
- Generate publicity opportunities e.g. radio, newspaper, online etc.
- Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
- Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
- Manage the production of supporter materials.
- Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.
Innovation and Market Trends
Lead the charge in:
- Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
- Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.
General:
- Collaborate and communicate well with team members and particularly line manager.
- We are a small dynamic team; the post holder will work over many areas offering lots of opportunity to work with staff in different departments and learn about the different aspects of charity.

Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
- A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment.

Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention.
- Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
- Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.
